I ordered two small items with a value of £24.17 and you wanted to add an additional £32.00 for postage via DHL. If you had used Royal Mail I suspect the charge would have been less than £10.00. Your inflexible delivery system has lost you an order and a future customer after spending several thousand pounds over the last 5 years. Do your homework or loose more Channel Islands business. Whilst you apologised, the rhetoric made no commercial sense

We were a bit nervous about buying a pool liner on-line but we are very pleased with the product and especially with the measuring and fitting service provided by Wayne and Loz. We recommend having the pool professionally measured. Wayne and Loz are lovely people and really know their job - they worked very hard, brought tanks so we could save some of the pool water for refilling, cleaned up everything and even cut the old liner into manageable chunks so we can take it for recycling. Thank you!

We recently replaced the liner in our 32x16 hopper pool with Poolstore, and the whole experience has been fantastic.

A big thank you to Jason and Naomi at Poolstore, who were incredibly helpful and supportive throughout the process. Their advice was spot on, especially recommending that we use their installer.

The installation team—Wayne, Los, and Eric—arrived exactly at 08:30 as promised and got straight to work. Three true professionals: friendly, hardworking, and clearly very experienced. Impressively, they completed the entire job in less than a day.

The end result is flawless. The liner fits perfectly and the pool looks even better than we expected.

Moral of the story: follow Poolstore’s advice and use their recommended installer. Do that, and you’ll receive a 5-star service from beginning to end.

Great Service - Winter Chemicals
Needed a bit of a reminder on winterising my pool which they were able to provide over the telephone. Placed order for recommended chemicals that arrived next day, used and put to bed. Thanks for the advice as usual

I ordered the liner from Poolstore UK Ltd via the ‘Gold Service’ and the website says

‘our expert fitters have over 20 years experience’

And

'With the gold service PoolStore will give you full peace of mind because you will not have to do anything. The fitter will come out to you and survey and measure your pool. We will order your liner to your choice of colours and style and when it is ready the fitter will come and take the old liner out and then fit the new liner and refill the pool'

EDIT - they have now changed the wording on their website.

It does not mention anything about the customer deciding whether or not to use the fitter they recommend, and if they do a bad job they will take zero responsibility for their mistakes.

Poolstore do not clearly explain that the contract for the survey and installation has nothing to do with them, even though they pass your details to the fitter and they contact you to arrange the work and then insist on direct payment after the survey has taken place. Something I was expecting to pay Poolstore for, and assumed they would pay their fitter.

Poolstore provide products, not services, and their website is extremely misleading.

Poolstore have removed my initial review and have tried to claim that this review is meant for another company. Please look at other 1 star reviews on this site regarding liner installation. This is not a one off.

I did not choose my installer, he was provided to me via Poolstore. I have clear evidence of this. I wouldn't choose some random guy from Swindon. Poolstore have since provided me with his address to pursue legal action against him. If the truth is that I chose him independently, and he's nothing to do with Poolstore, why would they have his address?

I lost over £6ooo and it cost more than double that to fix the mistakes. The court ruled in Poolstores favour because I paid their recommended installer directly, as instructed by Poolstore. Do not fall into the same trap.
