Please avoid this company

Please avoid this company!
If it was possible to give a zero star rating I would. I placed an in stock order nearly 5 weeks ago and still have not received it. It takes this company up to 12 business to even post an order and then they simply blame the postal service.

They offer a more expensive method of delivery however then change this to a cheaper way which is completely misleading. They have a section on their website which they believe just because they write a policy it is acceptable. Please do not be fooled by their “our story” section as family run businesses have compassion towards their customers where as this company acts in a way of a money hungry business only.

Avoid unless you like NO customer service!

I’m actually shocked that an online retailer these days can actually quote that they will reply to emails within 7 to 14 business days as they are super busy. When email is the only way to contact a business, how is this acceptable?

My mum ordered a mirror that was in stock two weeks ago. She sent an email almost two weeks ago asking for the order to be cancelled as the area she intended to put the item wasn’t going to work now. No reply and then she received an email with tracking. I helped her track the item for a week and the tracking number is invalid. Courier can’t help us and my mum has to send another email and wait another 7 to 14 business days for a reply.

She created an Instagram account so we can send them a message through there and still no response. She has a very expensive mirror, which isn’t insured as the company won’t insure mirrors, floating around somewhere with no idea where because they’ve provided the incorrect tracking.

And to top all this off, you can’t contact the company. But they can still put promotions on Instagram for 25% off sale and try to drum up more business when they can’t even help the customers they have! Surely if you are so busy you can’t reply to customers, offering a sale won’t help that.

Poor customer service and I’d avoid if you don’t want to spend weeks trying to locate your item. My mum is really upset that she can’t contact anybody and this has been incredibly stressful for her. Shame on you Poppy’s Little Treasures!
