The communication from start to finish was exceptional. The chair was protected in transit and I was notified when it was collected, en-route to me and on arrival. The driver was friendly, professional & efficient. I would very happily use Porta again and would recommend them to others. These guys are amazeballs, they use WhatsApp well so it made it very easy to keep communications, my specific problem was tricky but they were there very quickly after I’d been let down by another company,

A chaotic delivery process, chaotic communications with the courier, and direct interference by the clueless CEO himself, who tried to charge me extra the night before the delivery.
Customer service failed to provide a reasonable refund despite being asked 30 times. Instead, they offered a miserly refund or a slightly-less miserly voucher that would force me to use their company again - something on which they were weirdly controlling and insistent. The difference between the two? £10 - the company must be failing if they need it that much!

(1) I've made no comment on the 'success' of the delivery or 'damage'
(2) The communications issues were not 'temporary'
(3) A Porta voucher can only be spent through Porta, i.e. it would 'obligate' me to use your services again (That's the control freak part)
(4) No mention of your ham-fisted price gouging?
(5) Interesting that you consider a customer trying to get a refund 'harassment'; seems like you don't like the parts you can't control?

Really excellent service. Did PRECISELY what they had been asked to do with exact timings, impressive care, accepting an amendment with good grace and without argument, and providing the cheapest quote from five, and keeping to it!

The actual delivery was flawless. The driver was friendly, helpful and respectful. My issue was with the absolute waste of time process of actually make the booking and pay for it which took an entire day as online failed on my a 100 tumes, online chat didnt help and emailing back and forth to customer services took hours. I nearly gave up but remembered that they did a good job last time too so i persevered. I really wish they sorted out their online process.

My moving partner was changed at the last minute, which may be nervous, but Sandeep was great! He texted his arrival time and arrived promptly, before 10am and in good time for the move. He treated my stuff with care was approachable and efficient. Move was over 150 miles but all done and dusted by 4pm

Was a bit dubious initially but posted a job and an established, reliable delivery/courier service picked up a large chest of drawers from Devon and delivered to Pembrokeshire. All went smoothly and communication was good, both from Porta and the company. 25-30% lower price than other quotes.
Friendly and helpful driver and reasonable on cost too. Used this company several times now with no issues.

I have used Shipley for years to move individual items but they have become rather unreasonably expensive and the price from Porta was fair. I did have to chase them though and the communication wasnt as sharp as it could have been. The table we had bought arrived in good condition so nothing to complain about

Easy to use web based platform, fair and flexible pricing and easy to contact via chat with a quick response. Collection was inside the contracted time window and delivery was within 48 hours, which was quite impressive given the distance and the fact that Porta are a low volume, high value business. Communication was generally excellent although I want told when it would be delivered.
