Porta Delivery Reviews 

One star is too much. Porta moved our bed and caused so much damage in the process that the bed is now ruined. Dirt from the van, four broken legs, dirt and marks from it being dragged. The driver left it in the street and drove off. Unbelievable and very stressful experience. We paid for insurance too and Porta are denying any responsibility and are not responding to us after everything. Do not pay for insurance and do not use Porta.

Update as of 9 April: Appreciate your response but as they say the proof of the pudding is in the eating. I am married to the person who instructed you, I was there when your mover arrived to collect and when he delivered (although I was inside and only witnessed him driving off having ‘dumped’ the remaining parts of the bed. Cameron is my son and witnessed the delivery. I could have added more to my review before, for example an unprompted approach from a neighbour who witnessed from his window how your mover treated our bed. Zero respect for us or our belongings resulting in excessive damage. If you are the company you say you are, I am sure you can address this professionally and fairly for us.

I can recomend Porta Delivery. Easy to book online. Driver was very nice and kept line of communication. All my things arrived safely undamaged. Driver even combined 2 deliveries in one day. Which was amazing. I certainly will ise their services again if I need to.

Excellent service

The communication with the company was really good from initial enquiry to delivery. Subsequent communication with the courier company tasked with the job was just as good and the delivery driver himself was fantastic. My only grumble is that initial booking doesn't really make it clear what me as the customer should be asking for. In this case, I wanted a sofa collected and delivered to me and should really have requested a 2 man crew but the initial process doesn't make this clear enough. Fortunately, the address for pick up had someone there who could assist but I have fallen foul on another occasion for the same thing and that collection hasn't gone ahead. Overall I would say I have had a positive experience but there are some teething issues to be ironed out.

Very impressed. Price was great and communication was brilliant. Driver was in touch before collection and sent me an ETA on delivery. Helped load and unload van. Would use again.

No problems using the booking. Courier cancelled the job but another took it straight away. This courier was very good (V&V), and professional.

I was kept informed and delivery team were excellent..They were polite , efficient and went above and beyond to ensure my item was delivered promptly and safely

Excellent service. My items were collected by a very friendly, polite guy who took great care wrapping them to protect against scratches.
He then arrived bang on time the next day 250miles away and delivered my items in perfect condition.
Fabulous value, would definitely recommend.

Courier (Ed) was great. Im very disappointed in the shear volume of marketing and sharing suggestion emails im receiving from Porta, which make you appear like just any other organisation

The Thursday evening before the bank holiday Friday, I needed a box of fixings delivered 300 miles away before the Bank Holiday Monday. This being Easter weekend I was dubious but Porta did the job.
Not cheap but considering it was late notice, Bank Holiday and a weighty item and I wanted same day delivery, it was well worth it.

Apart from good communication and the courier being super polite, timely and helpful, what was great was that Porta are just very straightforward compared to the other platforms, whose couriers show lower quotes until you try to book the specifics and then the price goes up anyway and you've wasted hours for nothing. So they are a false economy, unless you've basically got days to kill !

Second time I've used Porta delivery. Booking process is really easy - Drivers always communicative and collection / delivery on time.

Very simple to book a courier, great communication, extremely helpful driver and item was delivered well inside the time scheduled.

I booked a courier at 6pm for the next day and received the item by 1pm. Such a great experience, speedy, great value and lovely service. Will be using you guys more now that Zipcar is no longer an option for us when moving larger items. Thanks!
