Smoothest moving experience!

These guys are amazing! First out of state move I've had where nothing was damaged or lost and everything came on time. The guys were super professional and kept me in the loop the whole way from NY to LA with no surprises. A+++++

They made our move from NY to NJ an absolute breeze! They were careful, courteous, on-time, and everything got to our new place in one piece! After a handful of absolutely disastrous moves, using a company that made the move so good made a huge difference!

Do not hire this company.

Do not hire this company. At first, everything seemed fine. My account manager, Paul was responsive when I called with questions up until my moving date. On the day I was scheduled to move (5/28 between 1-4pm), a mover called me to say he'll arrive later around 6pm. While I had plans, I said that was fine and waited. 6pm came and went. I called back asking for an update, and the mover seemed surprised and said, "Oh, no one called you? I'm done for the day, but maybe we can come tomorrow. Someone will call you soon with an update." At this point I'm confused as to how they can just forget about a customer, but I wanted to give them the benefit of the doubt. I waited for a call that never came. The next morning, Paul calls me and says he thinks a team will come later today, but he can't give me an estimate as to when. I had to cancel my plans for the day but agreed. I waited until 6pm, at which point I had attempted to contact Paul/Poseidon throughout the day for an update, but the line was continuously "busy". I finally decide to call the mover out of desperation to reach ANYONE at this company and to my surprise, he says he's on his way, but he's in traffic. He finally arrives around 7pm alone saying they're understaffed, etc. While I'm extremely frustrated, I tip him well as he was fast and this wasn't technically his fault. I had less than a day to clean the apartment and fly to my new city, but I figure at least my things are now gone and on their way. Over the next couple of days, I try to contact Paul/Poseidon via email and phone, but their line is continuously busy and no one gets back to me. I finally try my account page through their website, where someone else named Jann responds to me 5 days later. Again, they are unable to provide me with an exact date, so I continuously have to schedule and cancel my freight elevator in my new apartment and call out of work. They had initially stated that the last possible date they would deliver was 6/7 (7 days since they originally took my belongings) and confirmed that would be the date, but that day came and went. I had to once again, waste a day off from work waiting around and had to cancel my freight elevator reservations. I ask for a discount and THIS is when Oleg, a different manager decides to actually call me and says that the new estimate is next week, around 6/16-6/17...... He is only willing to give me $250 off despite this massive delay. I had a vacation scheduled that week for my birthday, but now I had to cancel that, not to mention take more time off work at a moment's notice for whenever they could come. He again said he couldn't give me an estimate. After repeatedly getting in touch with Jann (who is wonderful and was the only person regularly communicating with me - Paul has apparently just forgotten that he's my account manager?), Jann assures me that the movers are coming June 16th in the afternoon. With this reassurance, I took the day off from work and schedule my freight elevator. However, Oleg calls me again saying they "might" come later today, or possibly tomorrow as they have other moves in my city (How/why they would prioritize a different customer over one they forgot about and then delayed repeatedly for over 2 weeks is beyond me...). I am furious at this point, so he gives me a $150 discount but says he can't do anything more than that. The mover then calls me at 4pm that day saying he's arriving around 5:30-6 so I change my freight elevator reservation once again. Unsurprisingly, they are late and my apartment management is as frustrated as I am. They finally arrive, but it takes them about an hour to actually start moving my items. They finish around 9pm. Immediately after I pay and tip, I get an automated email from Paul (LOL) asking me to rate the service. In short, expect zero communication and late delivery. [I also suspect they're removing reviews as I saw several bad reviews removed and suddenly a flurry of good ones.]

Poseidon never showed up …

Poseidon completely ghosted me plain and simple, never arrived.... I was left completely ghosted with no response for several days. Do not do business with them if you are in the Boston area. I scheduled the move 1.5 months ahead of time and put a $200 deposit down, but then was left completely stranded on my move date one day before the deadline of my lease. The "Customer Service" representative assigned to your move is not responsive for days on end, you are lucky if you get a response. They purposely do not give you any contact information and have no sense of accountability.

Two entire days after my move date had been scheduled, without hearing a single thing from Poseidon, I finally received a message from the Customer Service rep assigned to my move that read, “Hi Cullen, I deeply apologize for this happening. I was not in the office, so I was not aware this was occurring nor was I notified of this. We are trying our best to be on time for the moves and plan accordingly, but things have been extremely busy on our end as we have lost a couple of our movers and drivers. Again, I sincerely apologize. If you would like to reschedule, due to increased volume we are only scheduling moves after 6/5, if you would like to cancel your move with us and issue a refund, please let me know.”

I booked this move 1.5 months in advance (with a $200 deposit down), and needed to move out of my apartment by 5/31. The Customer Service rep was the only contact information I was provided, so of course they were not notified of the movers never showing up… they don’t check their email/phone because there is no sense of accountability. They just move on to the next customer who falls for the trap that they can take advantage of. Absolute nightmare, do not hire them. There are plenty of alternative options that actually show up on the day of your move.

Definitely recommend!!!!

Amazing! I booked them for a move over MDW- I had heard horror stories of how crazy that weekend can get but we had no issues with Poseidon. The guys were extremely professional and kind, came on time, and delivered our furniture without any issues or damages. Will def be using them again!!!

I am a big fan of these movers

I am a big fan of these movers. They have great customer service, and efficient at wrapping up furniture, flexible with budget, easy to work with. I highly recommend for anyone in the area to use them for your next move! You won't be disappointed!!

Reasonable price and good quality
