Horrible!

Horrible!! It use to be people selling and customers being put first. When searching you get most expensive stuff from boutiques when did a great site turn to a high end boutique store?? I can’t support Poshmark and its practices.

Poshmark website is not secure

Poshmark website is not secure; it is open to scammers! Attempted to report a problem thru CHAT and after entering personal information (name, email, phone #, zipcode) you must enter cc # for a $5 payment to recieve a call back! This is a scam and illegal! Exit the payment screen immediately!

Within minutes of listing an item the spammers were relentless! My first time on the site

My first time on the site; I was able to list a pair of woman's boots pretty easily. Then, the emails started, ALL spam, with one in particular telling me she had just purchased my boots, but because of a "restriction" on my account I would have to provide my bank card information. Of course I immediately provided such - NOT. I then went onto the Poshmark site and did my best to delete the boots I had just listed; then, after doing so, deleted my account. There is no way on God's green earth that spammers could have so easily gotten my direct email unless it was opened for them by Poshmark. In my opinion Poshmark offered ZERO seller security. I am a seasoned seller on eBay and I don't have to deal with nonsense like this. I would definitely NOT sell on Poshmark.

They are absolutely the worst when it…

They are absolutely the worst when it comes to customer service, sometimes taking up to 3 days to respond, only to ask you a question and then take another 3 days to respond to your answer. This is both their customer service and Posh support. They dont allow phone calls only emails in which you get a message stating someone will get back to you in 1-3 days. Even ebay allows you to talk directly to their customer service.
I've been selling and buying on this site for 7 years now and seriously thinking its time to leave.

Ordered 1st 2 items ever, both were wrong: Poshmark won't issue a refund

I just made my first two purchases on Poshmark. So disappointed in the entire experience.

The first order was a pair of new shoes that were mislabeled with the wrong color. The seller was nice but said she hadn't realized because she'd copied the AI to write the listing. Did she not read her own AI listing? Or notice the photos she apparently stole were not the same color as the shoes in front of her? She was nice about it and admitted it, but come on.

The second item is the last thing I'll ever buy from Poshmark. I bought a pair of Old Navy jeans. I've been wearing the same size of the same style for 20 years - mid-rise kicker boot cut in 8 long. They discontinued them a few years ago but you can find them used. Bought a pair a size up "just in case." These are so small, there's no chance they just shrunk. They're several entire sizes too small.

Seller was nice enough but she didn't make a mistake, so Poshmark declined a return. Instead, they offered a $5 coupon for another purchase. It's such bad customer service. I'll never buy from them again.

Their site is cluttered with a ton of useless features, yet it's difficult just to find messages with sellers. They give you two business days after delivery to "accept" before taking the held payment. That's absurd. The emails from the company were generic, and I'm guessing, written by AI. You don't get what you pay for, and the policies clearly protect the sellers. I'll certainly be finding a different option to resale these size 0 jeans. Or I'll just drop 50 lbs.

No measurements & years old posts since seller last active

While I have found many wonderful items with great pricing, the frustration of no measurements for clothing is causing me to shop other sites. It is extremely hard to get a response from sellers & can't help but wonder how many items they purchase without knowing if they will fit? I've tried everything I know to get additional information & usually it is fruitless. Some sellers say "I don't have a tape measure". Seriously? Plus, the outdated items still listed for sale is ridiculous. Some over 8-10 years since seller was active. I have asked customer service to please clean this up but doesn't seem to matter. Too much wasted time...

Great selling and buying experience

I have been buying and selling on Poshmark since the pandemic and it has been a great experience. The one time I had an issue with a piece of clothing being stained when it arrived, Poshmark refunded me the money. This is the best place to buy and sell secondhand clothing online.

I was defrauded by the seller.
I paid for 3 rugs and only one was sent. I messaged you 5 times and sent photos of the only one item.
I was defrauded by your customer support team. Please make this right!!!
They only have bots to respond and do not read when details of the cases.

Garbage app

Customer service ignored me for a delayed package that has been sitting ever-so-pretty in Brooklyn, NY for 3 days. I was able to get a reply from them on X, but all they said was to wait for them to reply to my email. It's Monday but they never replied.

Since I cannot trust this worthless, sad excuse of customer service, I went through the trouble of getting the buyer's address myself and was able to use it to file a missing package report on usps.com.

I am so glad I did. The package arrived on Monday to the buyer's post office and delivered without issues.

Too bad there is no good resale sites anymore. I will stay with posh for awhile longer, but I will eventually close my account and never come back again. Their policies and CS are garbage. They deserve to be bankrupted.

Don’t use them if you have disabilities

I am a long time seller on the platform. I chose it because of the 3 day review/return policy. To me when you are dealing with clothing that may not fit right, may not be the right texture, etc. and you should have the opportunity to check out the product and make sure it meets your specifications. Poshmark doesn’t care about the buyer. If your purchase doesn’t fit or is for someone autistic with texture issues, they don’t care. They side with the seller and tell you to relist the item. Even if you offer to pay return shipping. Poshmark wants you to relist it so they can get more money from you. This is a crooked company and I disabled my account after about 6 years of selling on their platform because they do not care about disabilities or customers.

They would not issue me a return for an item that promised it was 100% cashmere but it was 100% synthetic. I sent proof but they would not allow me to return it. DO NOT trust this horrible company to sell you quality items. They are awful.

As a seller on Poshmark

As a seller on Poshmark. They hurt the sellers. We pay 20% of every item sold to Poshmark. If you cancel 1-2 orders at all within 90days you get your account banned.
I would highly recommend using another platform

Rip offs

What kind of company that processes customers to vendors but doesn't allow negative reviews? Poshmark is a joke and a rip off. Someone should remove their licensing. Don't get ripped off, shop anywhere else.

Charged $607 for an item never received—support shut down my case

I was charged over $607 (including duplicate charges) for a Coach handbag I never received. Tracking stopped updating and the seller became unresponsive.

I escalated the issue through Poshmark’s system. Support initially acknowledged the problem and said it would be escalated—then abruptly closed my case, labeled my messages “inappropriate,” and disabled communication without resolving anything.

My messages were factual and professional. There was no abusive language.

As a first-time buyer, this experience has been unacceptable: no item, duplicate charges, and no meaningful support. I have filed a dispute with my credit card company and a formal complaint.

Buyers should be aware that if something goes wrong, you may not get help.

They deserve not a zero but a negative…

They deserve not a zero but a negative 1. I tried selling on Poshmark and within the first minutes (literally) of posting my items (higher end clothing) I was phished and initially charged $1500 USD on my Visa. That got resolved quickly because of my bank, no Poshmark. Then I tried the 'promote my closet' as a 7 day trial. When I then noticed 7 days later I was charged $10 USD for a week of this service (which did no promotion as far as I am aware) and contacted them to cancel it, they agreed and sent an email on March 12 2026 confrming the cancellation. Guess what? They then - without my knowledge or permission- charged me AGAIN. I immediately contacted them and their response was 'oh sorry but this is for payment from March 11-18th." Liars. I now disputed the charge with PayPal. And last, I ordered for myself a skirt off Poshmark and it has now been 11 days with no delivery. The 'sellers' address turns out to be an FPO AE with a zip that is for US military service in Italy. I have no evidence that this was actually sent since all the seller reports is that the USPS has it in their possession since March 12th, 2026 (it was ordered on March 8th). Whether a buyer or seller I would stay away from this site.

WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE EVER!!!!!!!!

This is a review of the lack of customer service for sellers on Poshmark. There is no one to call, only email and good luck with that and getting someone to reply to your questions regarding a timely sale. They offer ZERO and I mean ZERO service to their sellers. Sellers do not ship out anything of value sold on this site. If it is lost or stolen, there is no additional insurance on your items except for the very minimum. If it's lost or stolen it's just to bad and guess who is left with nothing, you the seller. Search another site, DO NOT USE POSHMARK. I ask for answers regarding an item I sold about shipping and 3 days later still no answer. Read the other reviews they are just like mine.
