Couldn't get a Monzo account unfortunately due to my address. Was recommended to use the Post Office Travel App (as I didn't want to use Revolut) and I have to say my experience was smooth sailing! Ma... See more

Great to use in shops and restaurants but had to pay twice for cash withdrawals. $6.5 Canadian equals about £4 so not to bad and wouldn’t put me off using it again

This travel card was recommended to us by friends who had used it and we found it very easy to use. Top up was incredibly simple.
The only downside I found is that any remaining money after our holiday could not be transferred back to my bank account.

Great for using abroad & feel safer as you can just put a fixed amount of money in the account, in case it gets lost or stolen

I was not sure at first if I wanted to take out a post office travel card as I already had my bank cards. However, my post office in Eltham staffs are really lovely and professional and they introduced me to the card. I used it while away in Central America to purchased goods and to draw money. I love how you can top up in the currency of your choice and how easy to access without fuss and felt just as comfortable using the post office card as I do not bank and I felt it had all the security features like my bank cards. I travel a lot to Central America, Belize, Mexico, Guatemala and other countries.
I have introduced one of my daughters too and she used it in Eastern Europe and loved it.I have also used it in England too. Will recommend to other friends and family. In some ways I prefer it over my bank cards. I purchased a lot and travel a lot, but I do not do reviews nor right them. However, I felt that my post office travel card earned and deserved one. Many Thanks happy 😃

Had no issues using the travel money card. Found it simplistic and easy to use.
Keeps it away form your general accounts, gives you that extra layer of security when in a foreign country.
One card / one app payments and top up as and when you like 👍

Just returned from Portugal and used my PO Travel Money card for the first time. I added it to Google Wallet and it was really simple to use. Any spend on the card updates immediately in the app so you can see your remaining balance quickly. I am really impressed with it and will use it again for my upcoming trip to the UAE - my remaining Euros can be converted to Dirham on the app. Definitely recommend this card.

It's simple to add money, I've not used it yet as I have a few weeks until my holiday, I will update my review when I return.

I miss laid my travel card. From ringing up and speaking to a lovely lady named Alison and telling her what had happened I received my new card in 2 days.
Such good efficient service.

Rates aren’t nearly as good as other companies
Ok to use but can’t log in when no internet connection

As usual, trying to top up and I got the 'problem with system' message.
Were now stuck on the USA/Canadian border.
Assuming we do actually get home I'm giving up the PO card. It's let me down too many times.

Order no.POL29811343.
If I could mark 0 I would. Online order i received had a shortfall of €30 which i reported and investigated for 2 weeks. Post office processes are fail safe ( NOT) and customer is either lying or trying to defraud.
PLEASE COUNT MONEY BEFORE YOU LEAVE BRANCH. COUNTER STAFF ARE NO LONGER ALLOWED TO OPEN YOUR ORDER TO CHECK .... YOU MUST

Trying to cancel my card seems impossible on line. I went to the post office and they said they can't cancel it, or don't know how to. I was told to phone up and cancel it. The reason for canceling my card is I got charged £1.50 to take out my own money. I will never recommend the post office travel card to anyone.

Could not use my card automatically in French supermarket. Had to use an atm initially.
