Amy at the selby branch was very…helpful

Amy at the selby branch was very helpful when trying to get a v5 for car and tax. My card wouldn't work, she was so patient , helpful and friendly even though there was a queue building, I was feeling very anxious. She made me feel so much better about the situation. All was sorted. Thankyou Amy

Hi,

I would like to leave a feedback about Post Office branch in Croydon (234 Micham Road, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 3JL).

When I go to send a letter or a parcel, - they always push you to pay highest price, unless you tell them that you want Second class.

Today I went to this branch to send ordinary letter by recorded mail. I said: cheapest option, signed for recorded mail please. Woman told me £9. + for a special delivery. I said, that I dont need special delivery and repeatedly asked for cheapest option of 2nd class signed for.

Woman quickly printed 1st class (after me asking twice for 2nd class) signed for stamp with label and attached to my letter. Then I said that cheapest must be Second class Signed for and requested to change it to 2nd Class Signed for. Then woman started lying to me that 'Signed for' does not count as recorded mail. She reluctantly pealed of wrong labels from my envelope and eventually printed and put on correct ones I asked few times before.

Be aware that in this branchbthey always ask and offering most expensive price.

What a rip off

What a rip off. I asked for the cheapest postage for a parcel that would be signed for. They told me that the cheapest option was parcel force and charged me £25.85. I then found out that they could have offered me another option for approximately £7.50. When I contacted customer service, they told me that the counter staff chose the option they thought was best but not the cheapest. Reported them to trading standards now

Drop & Go service at STAMFORD POST OFFICE

Signed up to the Drop & Go service at Stamford Post Office to allow for the speedy posting of multiple items in one go. Adeel guided me through signing up for the service & explained how it worked. He provided me with drop & Go Bags & has been extremely helpful in dealing with a volume of parcels at any one go. The staff at the post office process the parcels quickly & all the tracking details for each individual parcel are quickly uploaded to our personal business account. I would highly recommend both Adeel and this service at Stamford Post Office.

Horrible customer service phone system

Horrible customer service phone system, no one to get in touch with on by phone to answer your question. All fully automated which isn’t what you need always. Post office should have some people answering the phone like many other companies who provide those services.
I was twice online for 15 minutes no success to get the support I wanted to answer my question

I had an excellent experience at the Attercliffe Post Office, Sheffield S9 Area. all thanks to Ashock and his team. The service was outstanding from start to finish. Ashock was professional, friendly, and extremely helpful, making the whole process smooth and stress-free.
His team also deserves recognition for their efficiency and positive attitude. It’s rare to find such dedicated customer service these days, and they truly go above and beyond to assist customers.
Highly recommended – a well-deserved 5 stars! ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Ignorant counter staff

I don't use any post office branches I live in Irvine Scotland and all of the branches are run by very ignorant foreigners
I always check when buying online to see who they use as a carrier if it's royal mail I don't purchase
Just my experience I'm sure other people have had delightful experience

Post office uses notorious Evri

Recently used post office to send two parcels one to abroad and one inland.
As I used to trust the post office, I didn't keep the recept.
However both parcels did not arrive despite two months has passed. Asked the post office stuff what delivery company they use and to my horror they said the post office uses the notorious Evri for delivery.

No wonder both of my parcels did not arrive. Disgusted
When I told the stuff about EVRI extremely poor services they said they cant decide but higher up in the post office management decide and surely they are aware of Evri poor service but they use it to make money.
I am disgusted. Shall not use post office for sending parcel anymore.

Absolutely appalling, got it delivered at the office apparently it arrived but the office worker decided to not go to work today and just didn’t show up without telling anyone now I have to wait till Monday to get it. Sort your selves out

Horrible management!

Horrible management at post office on Shardlow Road, Derby so far! For example, they are in partnership with Evri and they've got very clear blue signs saying: "Send - RECEIVE - Return" or "send - collect - return"!
But, if your name is not English they refuse any parcel on your name, they don't accept it. Discrimination!
I've never seen any condition (subscription, membership etc) to have the right to receive a parcel there.

Lost again!

Post office got my parcel lost or delayed again?
At 8:58, April 10, 2026, I handed over my parcel to be sent to London, by second class, but up to now still not arrive yet! Years ago, Post office got my keys lost which incurred a big penalty to my friends, and we got nothing to compensate. Happened again?

I had returned goods back in February a lot of things they was a gentleman they that served me i no what he looks like he refused to give me receipt and said they don’t for Amazon I said this the first he said they never do well now the goods haven’t gone back I been charged I will take this further this man should not be working in the industry he lied to me plus I lost money I been charged again for it if you need information about the person happy to help if needed

I am still waiting over 1 month for my…

Due to Lambeth council that were supposed to send out my documents I was left waiting over 1 month for my certificate that was purchased from the Council. Paid £9.00 to have delivered to my address…
There’s no tracking number available and no one to talk to about why it’s taking so long. This certificate is needed urgently and postage service is not acceptable.

Dereham post office

Enjoyed going to the post office at Dereham Norfolk today, as we have no post office in Thetford. Very helpful assistant who helped my mother out filling in forms ect, her name was Wendy, the other lady serving was called Hayley, as she was very helpful & cheerful too.
I wish everyone in every shop was as helpful as them two girls, keep it up, was like a breath of fresh air today.
