Power On Television were given the brief of suppling Digital totem screens for public spaces that would be bright enough when used in challenging light condictions.
The specifications were tight with Wifi enabled units had to be used along with units that matched the decor.
Not only did they provide an excellent solution but gave advice on how we could save costs going forward with the selection of CMS provider.
The guy who came to us was lovely and explained everything that was wrong and that we would need a new ariel. He spoke to his boss and we got a really competitive quote and he was able to fit it that day after going to fetch all the stuff he required. He was such a nice guy and we are so impressed with the service we received.
The technician that arrived was really helpful and gave me lots of advice. However, the set up of the service is not great. I sent pictures of the equipment in advance. Many of my audio devices were outdated and as such could not hook up to my record player or tv. I asked about this specifically before booking the slot. I therefore paid £168 for 3 speaker wires to be connected (could have done this myself without issue) and was told all my equipment was too old to use with the digital connections I wanted with tv / vinyl. I also requested they arrive with everything needed to do the job (hence sending pictures of all the devices and wires I had) and they didn’t arrive with an optical cable which is required for a home cinema set up. I am now also having to purchase a new amplifier, and set this up myself, on top of the session I have paid for. All in all it has Cost me money and not saved me any hassle. Seems as though they will advise they can do any job and change you a flat rate irrespective of the works required. Was ignored when I asked the company if I pay by invoice once satisfactory works were completed and had to pay in person there and then.
