Very bad development experience!

I attempted to upload the APK but ran into multiple issues. The error messages displayed were not accurate, so I had to contact support to understand the actual problem. Unfortunately, their response time is very slow. I ended up wasting several months dealing with this, and it has significantly reduced my motivation to continue working within their ecosystem.

We love our new Poynt PoS system. Super fast, great after the sale communications, and excellently priced.

If you are a small brick and mortar store with minimal inventory, then this is the system for you.

And props to First Merchant Bank for an incredible credit card collection service with minimal fees for handling the cards!!!!

The Poynt terminal works great & the money is always transferred as expected. But their support team is a joke - wait on hold, get transferred, wait again, get transferred again, repeat, repeat, repeat.....Just to make a change to the bank account we use is a nightmare, after 1hr 15min I'm waiting to be transferred for the 5th time and once again more bad hold music. Apparently they do not believe customers have anything better to do during working hours.

Avoid doing financial transactions with Godaddy.com and Poynt.com - unless you want trouble with your business.

They will do anything to make loss to your business and cheat you. They are very unethical and not customer friendly.

Run away from Godaddy.com and its affiliate businesses to avoid any future financial trouble.

I've had nothing but issues with the new terminal that I was basically forced to upgrade to. Spent hours a day on the phone with customer service that seem to have no idea what a Multi-Mid terminal is suppose to do. I've been "accidentally" hung up on multiple times by customer service who I believe just didn't want to deal with the issue.

It all started out ok, their rates were good and smaller pay link charges went thru with no problem. As soon as I had a large charge of over $30,000 it all went south. In order to process this client's charge I had to provide invoices and bank statements and then finally they released the funds to my account. They said everything would be fine moving forward with this client's monthly job invoice because I supplied them with the necessary documents.
The very next month, I attempted to charge the client for the same amount as we were doing the exact same job for them, and the charge wouldn't go thru. I asked for this to be reviewed because of the prior month's experience and I was given a new case number with all sorts of other crazy requests into my business as a form of documentation. By the way, the same person, JILL from the prior month, was on this month's fiasco in their review dept. I responded that all this documentation was ridiculous because I had provided info last month on this issue. I received an email back that my account was suspended because of risk factors with my type of business.
Mind you I am a printer of print materials and a provider of direct mail campaigns for advertising purposes. We've had one chargeback with another credit card processor because of covid lockdown and never any others in the over 40 years in business. This Poynt was purchased by Godaddy to process credit card transactions. All of our domains and products related to Godaddy are with them. This JILL obviously does not understand my industry. I am very disappointed in their treatment and will bring this to the new owner of Godaddy's attention. With the other reviews I've read, I should have looked at Trustpilot first to see how they treat their clients.
PS. They are holding up any transactions that haven't been deposited into our bank account for 90 days. Insane

Worse terminal ever, worst customer service ever, signed up with three companies, one sold me the thing, an other processes transaction and a third holds the lease. It's a great was to avoid any responsibility. Signed into a 5 year lease with problems all the time.

Ever since I started using this company's services, I've always dealt with Eric; he's always been amazing. He answers the phone quickly, is very patient and is always very friendly. Super happy with his service therefore super happy with the overall service!

Absolutely the WORST decision I made when opening my business. I got caught up in the "GoDaddy" name and regret not understanding enough about possible issues. AMAZING how limited is the reporting! Updating the terminal doesn't take. You have to delete an item and reenter rather than just trying to edit the one that already exists. YOU CAN'T RUN A REPORT TO EXPORT CLIENTS TO A LIST! The lack of a cohesive report to show products sold is ridiculous! You can't run a report to show SKU's sold! AVOID THIS PRODUCT LIKE THE PLAGUE!

The most terrible company. I ordered GoDaddy Poynt Smart Terminal and on the website says 2 day free shipping BUT I still didn't get it after 3 days so I called to customer service (they made me wait 30 mins to check it) and they don't even know if it was shipped or no. NEVER HAD THIS KIND OF TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE

The worst company ever. Do not sign up with these people. There is no customer service. They use GoDaddy as a way to sucker you in. You will not get back any money that you process through them. They keep your money and there is no one to contact, at all.

I did biggest mistake of my life
I signuped from godaddy payments they terminated my account with any reason and said will refund all funds to customers within 1 business day 1month has been passed no response. Everytime i contact poynt they said they dont have any information about it and asks me to contact GoDaddy payments , GoDaddy payments are blind deafs they never reply email neither any update on call.

Thank you Jessica for your excellent customer service. It was great to get all the information and the "how to" process everything. You saved me lots of time and made everything more efficient.

Great outlook, great customer service also. The only disadvantage is that it's a bit slow with certain cards, I've cancelled more than 3 times transactions because it takes too long waiting for some kind of authorization.

Andrene was fabulous, very quick, knowledgeable and helpful! Thank you for your time today!

Jack was my go to on the pitch and he was more than amazing. I really felt I was being heard as a client. I was also taken care of by Andrene and someone else helping me set up my terminal. Ladies, Thank you. I felt very supported.
