Order not received

Ordered masks on 25th September, and dispatched on 27th via Hermes. Great I thought, but no. The parcel seems to have got held up with Hermes, and although that's not PPE Giants' fault, it is their fault when they don't respond to emails, telephone calls and voicemail messages, advising them of this issue. Luckily, I bought through a credit card, and am claiming back through them for goods not supplied, but I shouldn't have had to. PPE Giants should have been able to deal with my query and chase Hermes and/or replace masks that weren't received.
Ordered from another company, who actually man their phones. Spoke to a friendly advisor who sent me out masks - delivered within 2 days using Royal Mail's service - job done.
Can't comment on quality of PPE Giants' masks, but should something go wrong with your order, don't expect someone to be able to help!

SCAM | Shocking company and customer service

Horrible company and customer service. I will fully advise you to stay away. Placed an order on Friday, after speaking with the Manager or CEO Harmeet. He advised to choose Hermes delivery option since they do parcel pickups on the weekend, and their other delivery option DPD does not. He strongly assured me pickup will occur on Sunday, with delivery to commence on Monday. He suggested if I chose DPD, delivery will occur on Tuesday.
Still Friday and NO PARCEL DELIVERED. It has been 1 week since they have uploaded a tracking number to the order. At this rate, it doesn’t seem like anything will even turn up. Seems like a scam. Countless times called customer service and either make an excuse saying ‘a customer has walked in’ and abruptly hang up the call and say they will call me back. Never received any calls back at all. Was told Harmeet will also call me back to resolve my issue, as he wrongly advised a customer to sort the issue out, but no correspondence at all. I would STRONGLY STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY. No customer service, no products nothing. Fraud of a company. Please do not order from this company if you want to be out of pocket, and receive no goods.

EDIT : Manager/CEO Harmeet clearly advised me with the words ‘DPD does not collect on weekends (which is understandable) so hence choose Hermes as they pickup up on Sundays, and deliver next day’ - Clear wrong advice was given from the Manager/CEO to the customer - Hermes delivery option was chosen for delivery on Monday as advised, otherwise guaranteed delivery for Tuesday would have been selected but was wrongly advised.

The sense of rudeness is complete lies, where customer support at PPE Giants cannot even hold a conversation with you regarding support and claim a customer comes in, pretty ridiculous in my books. A sustainable and well established company will issue a replacement to compensate for the inconvenience, and if the original parcel (ever arrives), they can arrange a collection.

Avoid at all costs, and don’t be tempted by the prices that seem too good to be true. You will not receive any goods.

Dear Vik, you were advised to save money by using Myhermes if you were not in a rush to recieve your order. You requested same day dispatch at 5pm on Friday when you placed your order, which was impossible for us to do. DPD would not have collected your parcel until Monday, and delivered on Tuesday. You did not want to pay the DPD shipping price, so were advised to use Myhermes which would deliver anywhere between 2 - 5 working days. Being in London you were advised that it could arrive sooner, but this was not a guarantee. We have no control over the time taken by logistics companies unfortunately.
Your tracking details and information were provided immediately after your order was completed, for you to follow. Your office have been rude to the staff members by shouting and abusing when they were only trying to help. We had warned you that we do not tolerate rude behaviour and our staff members have spoken to you and maintained cool and calm customer service. If you are unhappy with the service provided by MyHermes, I would suggest you get in touch with them, quoting your tracking details. Your order was processed and ready for collection just 1 hour after the order was placed.

Dear Vik, you were not instructed wrongly, but informed correctly with all the required information given well in advance, such as tracking information. We are unable to send out additional packages at FOC, when the packages had already been dispatched correctly. We as a company cannot be held responsible for the actions by logistics companies. Unfortunately, parcels are sometimes delayed. We also said we would send you a returns label so we could refund you. We are sure you understand that in your holiday business, you also cannot be held responsible by the uncontrollable actions of the airline companies, such as flight delays/cancellations etc. Being rude and abrupt to our staff members is not something we stand by, and we are shocked that someone who has been involved in the holiday industry would have staff that behave in this manner.

UPDATE 18/09/21: Your MyHermes tracking link shows us that your parcel is out for delivery and you will receive it today.

The thermometer sent initially by PPE…

The thermometer sent initially by PPE arrived in a rather crushed box, and did not work at all. PPE then promptly posted a replacement without delay in a robust cardboard box, and also an additional (spare) thermometer. Both the replacement and the spare worked correctly, enabling me to comply with Covid safety requirements at a commemorative garden party following the death of a dear friend.

Paid for 2-3 business days delivery,
they emailed to say my order was shipped the next day and that was a week ago now and Hermes have not even received my parcel from PPE giants yet! So they lied they’ve shipped it and I have now sent 3 emails and have had no response! Their customer service is shocking! This is the second time this has happened now, last time I waited nearly 3 weeks to receive my order after paying £10 for quick delivery, again customer service non-existent! I only purchased from them again this time because they had a sale on but never again!! Very disappointed!

Firstly we would like to apologise for the delay in delivery and response.

Since Friday, Hermes have not come to collect our parcels. We use a courier, who collects the parcels from us, and then delivers them to the depot etc.

We have been in constant contact with Hermes, stressing them that we need our parcels sent out, since we had paid for them to be collected and sent out the next day.

Unfortunately, almost a week later nobody had come to collect them. We then took matters into our own hands, by gathering all of the parcels together and dropping them off at the depot ourselves.

This is frustrating for both yourself and our team, as we have had many other customers who have had a huge delay with their parcel due to Hermes errors.

We can assure that we did not lie about any parcels. Every single parcel was processed on our half and sadly Hermes caused a huge delay.

We sincerely apologise for any inconvenience this may have caused. Your package is on it's way and can be tracked with the link that would have been emailed to you.

I am so disappointed with the fact that I paid for a next day delivery, but up to today I have not received my parcel. Very very disappointed. I needed this ASAP.
