We had a bit of a non-standard situation with very pressing timelines. I don't anyone else would be keen to take us on such short notice, but Ellie took on the challenge! We've been looked after on every step of the journey, and despite many challenges, we got there in the end, and both my husband and I are now residents of Portugal. Cannot thank the PraiaClub team enough~

Let me just say that, if it weren't for Ellie and her team at Praia Club, I probably would have had a nervous breakdown (or worse...given up!) trying to get my residency visa. I had no clue what I was doing at the outset and about a million questions, and Ellie answered every single one, usually within minutes, over the months-long process. She and her team got me through some very frustrating, tough spots and kept me calm when I would start to panic (which happened a few times!). Ellie and Marco at Praia Club Immigration are the dynamic duo of immigration experts, and their service is truly one for the books! When my wife and I hired them for our D7 and nomad visa journey, we had no idea we'd be treated to a private concert by a surprise guest – none other than the King of Portugal himself, Carlos II (resurrected from the 19th century just for the occasion), accompanied by a mariachi band of giant, dancing squid!

As we sipped on champagne and nibbled on pasteis de nata, Carlos II crooned a soulful rendition of "Fado da Imigração" – a bespoke ballad penned especially for the occasion, while the squid mariachis played a rousing chorus on their tentacle-trumpets. The lyrics were so moving that even the most skeptical of bureaucrats couldn't resist the charm, and our paperwork was processed in record time.

I don’t usually write reviews. However I had to share my experiences with Ellie and Marco. These people are heaven sent! My wife and I used them to get a D7 and also a nomad visa. My wife and I hired them as a friend of ours referred them. They have helped from start to finish. Ellie would even calm my anxiety when I was worried about the massive paperwork. While I have not paid for services from Praia club, I have posted questions on their FB page and received quick and reliable answers. If I run into problems down the road, I will hire them. The fact that they respond to questions on their FB page without telling you to contact them directly or pushing their services speaks volumes. I am not not sure howany people are in the company, but Ellie is the person with whom I have interacted. Helpful and a giving person in times when everyone wants to make a quick dollar/euro.

I am so happy that I have had the pleasure of using the Praia Club. They are always prompt, cheerful and give the correct information. With their help I was able to get my D7 Visa to Portugal in record time! I'm very grateful.

I recently engaged Praia Club's services to assist with my D8 visa application, for which I paid a hefty sum of 2300 EUR upfront. However, my experience with them has been nothing short of disappointing and frustrating.

Despite my initial optimism, I have encountered nothing but silence and unresponsiveness from Praia Club. After making the payment, I have received no updates, no acknowledgment of receipt, and no response to my numerous attempts to reach out to them for clarification or assistance.

Furthermore, I want to make it clear that I will not hesitate to open a dispute with my bank to seek a refund for the payment made to Praia Club. Additionally, I am prepared to involve law enforcement authorities to address this matter and hold Praia Club accountable for their negligence and poor service.

Moving to a new country is exciting but filled with questions and paperwork. Ellie Rose and her team provide answers and support, throughout the entire process. You can hire them to carry you through the mountains of paperwork and rules or you can simply use their free amazing resources to do it yourself. Ellie Rose and Praia Club are PHENOMENAL!!!! Moving to another country is the most significant decision one or a family can make. From January-March, the application process (for us it was a very dense documented experience), legal issues, tax structures questions and pet transport connections, Ellie Rose became our guide and our muse and held our hands through it ALL. I regret to inform you about my extremely disappointing experience with Praia Club. Approximately two months ago, I made an advance payment of 2300 EUR as requested by Praia Club for their services. However, despite fulfilling their requirements, I have yet to receive any assistance or updates regarding my immigration process.

Furthermore, after completing the payment, Praia Club inexplicably blocked me and ceased all communication. Despite numerous attempts to reach out to them, they have ignored my messages and failed to provide any explanation or resolution.

In light of this experience, I will be initiating a dispute with my bank to seek a refund for the payment made to Praia Club. I urge others to exercise caution and avoid falling victim to similar fraudulent practices.

Having asked questions regarding who would be best to go to for help with my D7 & NHR application a number of previously satisfied customers recommended Praia Club, always a good sign!

Shortly after I emailed Ellie at Praia Club plus two other companies to discuss my options, straight off the bat the speed of responsive from Ellie was exceptional with a Zoom meeting booked for a day or so ahead.

As soon as I spoke with Ellie her air of assured knowledge & calm pragmatic approach was extremely impressive & reassuring, every question I had was answered immediately with an in-depth knowledge & additional information offered that I hadn't even thought about!

My original plan had been to wait to speak with the other companies prior to making a decision on who to use however I felt so reassured after my chat with Ellie I went straight ahead & engaged with Praia Club.

Needless to say as you can see from all the super positive reviews they leapt straight into action the very next morning & immediately secured my VFS appointment in record time. Despite being based there they certainly don't work on standard Portuguese time!

Having attended my VFS appointment yesterday the clerk there commented on how very well prepared & organised my paperwork was. I commented that's because I've paid for the services of a professional company to assist me with it, he replied that most people do so but still turn up half cocked & end up getting sent away with a flea in their ear requiring additional documentation & often having to book a complete new appointment as they are getting stricter on none complete initial applications now.

As a side note of the the other well known companies I had contacted, one took over three weeks to respond & the other I've still not heard back from....

In conclusion I would have absolutely no hesitation in highly recommending Praia Club, they have demystified the whole process and taken all the stress's out of what can be quite a daunting process for a first timer.

While you can follow a step-by-step guide from the available FB resources, there are many nuances in the process where direct support from Ellie and Marco was necessary to get certain aspects accomplished, especially within a short time frame.
