Great quality food, easy to order and delivery when expected

Things started well but quality and consistency has massively decreased over the 4 months I've been using them. Meals are different one week to the next, I've never had a meal before which has been the same twice. For example my Jerk Chicken would taste very different each week and then sometimes have sweetcorn in it?

Not to mention I've had multiple meals arrive damaged, sent a email and no reply.

Final straw this week where I've been charged, had a email confirmation and then received no shipping confirmation or deliver of food. Rang multiple times with no answer.

Changed to Prep Kitchen.

UPDATE: CEO got in contact with me and explained issues with new facility etc hence ignoring my calls and emails. Offered a weeks food as a gesture, seemed to be an issue at DPD's end with not delivering the food. Massively appreciated. Potentially may be back to try the new menu in the future.

Food is tasty and decent portion size, but a tad expensive at around £6 per meal IMO. Need to stop skimping on packaging as well as the box’s do not stay cold for long with one cold pack in.

I have been ordering from Prep by Gainz for some time now and have always had a great experience. Orders arrive when expected and the food tastes great.

The meals are helping me to keep on top of my nutrition, with training and being short of time with work and other commitments.

Today whilst placing an order I accidently ordered for local pick up instead of delivery. I emailed Prep by Gainz and within minutes had a reply and the issue was resolved.

I would recommend Prep by Gainz as a company to assist you with your nutrition and meals.

Food quality is great , unfortunately can’t be said for the delivery company, broken boxes and damaged goods .

Great meals and a great personal touch from Leighanne, very helpful with any questions or queries, I would recommend to anyone that is looking for good healthy meals.

Really lovely food, always great flavours. Quick and easy to do online and there is always new food being added which is nice to be able to try different things. I have used the meals for weight loss and I can see a difference already in a couple of months.

Ive been with prep by gainz for over 2 years now always delivered on time and even better the food tastes unreal! Since being with prep by gainz it’s mad how much my training and physique has improved.

Since coming to Prep By Gainz I have not looked backkk. I started due to a busy lifestyle and didn’t have motivation to prepare meals whilst on the go.

The best meal preps around.
Been using Prep By Gainz meal preps for a couple of years now, they’ve helped me stay on track and keep my performances consistent. Tried a few meal prep companies before Prep By Gainz and non of them are anywhere near the quality of what Gainz are.

Brilliant meals!

Contrary to some reviews below, I have mot had any issues with taste or smell of the meals. I have been a returning customer week after week for around 6 months(ish) now and i cant say i’ve experienced these issues.

Delivery is usually via DPD and is prompt. Packaging is brilliant compared to some companies i used previously which came with lots of damaged food packaging etc.

Theres a wide variety to choose from food wise. My absolute favourite is the marscapone tortellini.

I also find it highly convenient considering the price for me per week is only maybe 10/15 pounds more than i would pay normally for lunch and dinner and I no longer have to take time out of a very busy schedule to cook and clean up after.

Absolutely brilliant service!

Every main meal was insanely dry. Was also a nasty plastic smell after microwaving the trays which I’ve not had with other meal preps before. But mainly the issue is how dry the meals are… it’s nothing like the pictures on the IG (maybe that’s when they’re freshly made, but when you get them and reheat they are dry on another level, it makes some of the meals bordering on inedible). The main reason I gave 2 stars instead of 1 is because the cheesecake was incredible. If I were these guys I’d open up a cheesecake shop instead as that was genuinely the best cheesecake I’ve ever had and wish I could just buy a bucketload of that stuff. But the meal prep is the worst sadly (and I’ve tried all of the major national players now).

Edit: After the response below just wanted to add/clarify, we did a 15 item one-off order to try the service, this was between me and my fiance, we had 2 meals yesterday and 3 today *each* (breakfast, lunch, dinner) plus desserts both days, every meal has been the same in terms of dryness - I have photos where you can clearly see how dry it is but not sure how to post them here. I notice the review before mine says essentially the same thing even down to there being a weird smell so it doesn’t seem a one off. Maybe this week was a bad batch I’m not sure. But either way, this was an honest review. The cheesecake like I said was seriously good.

Food wasn’t fresh at all. Chicken was old, very chewy and not cooked smelt terrible as well and was dry and no flavour at all same goes for their meat dishes. One of my food packages came damaged as well sent an email and no reply. Also they substituted a lot of my meals without even asking me first.

Prep by gainz is hands down the best meal service I've ever tried. Their meals are delicious, their service is on a whole different level and they're accommodating. If you're looking for convenient, nutritious meals that exceed expectations, Prep by Gainz is the way to go.
