Avoid

I contacted SJM Concerts following the Madness performance at the Brighton Centre on 14 December due to concerns about conduct during the show.

The issue was not musical style or “artistic taste”, but repeated sexualised comments and gestures directed at audience members at an event marketed as suitable for ages 14+, alongside behaviour that appeared to breach venue rules on smoking/vaping.

Despite detailed, factual feedback and acknowledgment of concerns by the venue, SJM declined any remedy and repeatedly framed the matter as “subjective enjoyment” and “artistic intent”, without substantively addressing age suitability or conduct standards.

Based on this experience, I would be very cautious about attending events promoted by SJM, particularly those advertised as suitable for younger audiences.

Such a helpful bunch of guys!

They are one of the most polite and helpful bunch of people I have had the pleasure to deal with.
Contacted them for information about Coldplay tickets, they gave me guidance about Wembley tickets, and the prices were so reasonable, I purchased a pair directly from them.
Around the time of the concert, there were some severe traffic issues causing us to miss the whole show. The guys at SJM were extremely sympathetic and helped us as best they could so 4 days later we had the evening of our lives watch Coldplay.
SJM were so very helpful and understanding.

Thank you so much everyone for helping me make such a special evening for my wife and I.

Terrible

Terrible. Do not take health and safety seriously. Do not care about the safety of pregnant women or investigate complaints adequately.

Take that bristol.

Attended the take that this life tour at Ashton gate stadium in Bristol 8th June. Paid £130 per ticket for seats in block w3. We were side on to the stage and large screen..total disappointment,..a rip off no view of the boys either on stage or via the screen. Standing would have been half the price with a better view. Contacted sjm..several emails later..offered a goody bag. ?!. Not good enough. Very disappointed. Seats were allocated by sjm..not selected by me. They were not fit for purpose.

Absolutely shocking service

Absolutely shocking service! Booked a VIP m&g experience for a concert, to find out its behind a barrier because of the pandemic... it's 3 years on from the pandemic and no restrictions apply anywhere else!
No refund or partial refund offered because they're stating it said "possible barrier due to the everchanging pandemic" ... but the pandemic is over and they're still using this as an excuse to willingly rip people off!
Avoid like the plague! Their customer service have been less than helpful too! Absolutely diabolical!

Don't buy a VIP package.

This company are beyond incompetent. I bought a VIP package to see Darren Hayes. Great concert but my "signed poster" was not signed so I contacted them. They promised to send me a signed poster in "about a month". Nearly three months later they sent me signed poster of a completely different artist (Katie Melua). Good job I like her music too although I've never seen her in concert.

Money Grabbers!

Money Grabbers!
Contacted customer services to ask about on site parking to event. Provided with a link to pre pay for parking (£27.50!!!). Travelled to venue in Milton Keynes only to be caught in gridlock traffic due to parking being full!? Police turning people away and causing more traffic. Spoke to SJM who were promoting the event who claim they have no responsibility over parking DESPITE PROMOTING IT TO ME. They advised ample parking elsewhere so in turn advising to break traffic laws to be able to attend event. Refusing to issue refund for event although had refund from parking company and apology from them without any hassle as they admitted fault. Avoid SJM events if you actually want to see the show you paid for.

Do not trust this company :-(

Booked to see diversity for my daughters birthday. Spent extra for the VIP package. Upon arriving at venue and waiting in a long queue to collect out VIP goodies we’re told that they had run out/they hadn’t been received and to leave email addresses so that they could get our postal addresses to post them out at a later date. Obviously disappointed as a VIP package is fun for the night of show, but not so much weeks after it! Anyhow we are now 10 weeks later and still no VIP goodies received. I have chased repeatedly and am lied to each time as been told that they have been sent that day and will arrive in next couple of days. Each time they don’t I email again and am always told they are ‘sorry for the slight delay’ and will be posted ‘today’. Feels like a stalling tactic. To be honest the moment has long passed but it is the principle and the fact that the VIP package has been paid for x 2 that is making me persist to get them for my daughter. I don’t know if they ever will arrive but clearly this unprofessional company is happy to charge parents for a service that they aren’t providing and then happy to lie repeatedly about when they are/aren’t posting items out. I would never use this company again…and I see from other reviews that sadly this is not an isolated case :-(

SJM Concerts are not to be trusted

SJM Concerts who book your tickets for shows are deceitful and untrustworthy. They make promises and certainly dont keep them!
I recently booked tickets (paying way over £100 each) for meet and greet tickets together to see a show for Diversity at The Alex in Bham. We arrived at the time stated, waited to be told Diversity could no longer fulfil the meet and greet before the show as planned so a refund could be given, so speak to staff on registration desk.
They offered a meet and greet after the show but it would be a wait for approx 90 mins. We could not wait as I had to get back to my disabled Mom. I have now been refused a refund...after being promised by their staff and witnessed by theatre staff and others attending. Its disgusting....if this company is supplying your tickets..dont bother as if something goes wrong they really dont care and will not honour their contract with you!!

Country2country festival - Unbearable sound quality, blame passed to ticket sellers

Attended country2country festival and the sound quality supplied by SJM was so bad half the people especially near me and myself included had to leave as it was physically uncomfortable to stay and listen. At one point we even noticed a sound technician up where we were sat for a maximum of 5 seconds before she left. Paid £200 for tickets and too see the main act tonhave to leave a once in a lifetime show. After contacting them they have attempted to pass that they cannot give a refund even though THEY put on them perfomance. Saying I have to seek a refund from the ticket sellers... outrageous as the ticket sellers didn’t know they would ruin the concert so why should they have to refund! Terrible customer service and over a month to reply with that information
