Disgusting experience unfortunately.

Disgusting experience unfortunately.
The first time I have worked with this company and the last one.
They offered me a job as live in carer for a couple. When I arrived to the placement I was awared by the another carer that the role isn’t Live in, the real job was waking nights working shifts from 6:00 pm to 11:00 am (17 hrs) Staying alert 🚨 all night and assisting a senior between 5/6 , sometimes 9 times to
go to toilet and keep him safe all the time. I was sending communications to the office and never get any response…. Finally, from my last payment due to my complaint the company took money from my payment without explanation. Just was my own experience…. So please don’t take money from carers payments, you are taking your fees immediately.

Excellent company

The company does what no other company does - offer a choice of carers for you to choose from. The follow up and support is excellent.

They appreciate that every care patient is different and does not fit into one mould which the majority of other companies do - with all their rules. I would unhesitatingly recommend them. James the owner is invested in making things as easy and seamless as possible. Thank you for being there

EXCELLENT SERVICE

I have been using Prime Carers for over two years and will continue to use their services. It is brilliant because it is uncomplicated. It's brilliant because I can engage the same carer each time. It is brilliant because the carer is highly qualified, has a current and constantly updated DBS and appropriate insurance. The carer in question goes above and beyond, which is very much appreciated because the client is extremly difficult. In addition to the care/support provided the carer ensures that 'P' is in a safe and clean environment in her own home and sends daily reports about activities undertaken, behavioural issues, mood, and medication administered or refused in some cases. I highly recommend Prime Carers; they don't constantly tag additional costs on, they don't constantly try to sell me services I don't need or want. James, the case manager, contacts me on a regular basis to ensure things are going smoothly and to ask if there is anything they can do to improve the service they offer. After searching many care providers, I find Prime Carers competitively priced and hassle free

PrimeCarers, a well - led Remarkable Support Team.

PrimeCarers has a Well - Led Support Team with a wide range of knowledge and skills.
What I find very helpful is that the Support Team efficiently connects Carers and Families, manages care, handles bookings and take care of Admin. This enables me as a carer more quality time to deliver Person Centred Care.
I very much appreciate the Team’s prompt response whenever I have any question. I always feel heard and understood, most importantly not feel isolated at work.
I have so much gratitude to PrimeCarers Support Team because they remarkable make a world of difference to Clients, Families and Careers; they hold everything together like buttons.

I would not reccommend Prime Carers

I would not reccommend Prime Carers, the checks they claim to have done on their carers is quesitonnable. Our carer who looked after our 80 year old dementia parent was negligent. Thehouse even in two weeks was filthy, they did not follow up when my mother compained of a bladder in feciton they called her a silly old woman when she forgot things or got confused (she has dementia) we found the complete lack of attention to these critical issues fomr Prime Carers to be an illustraiton of their lack of care and attentjon - our mothers perosnality has chnaged and when I arrived to see our carer leave my mum flinched when she pretended to say a fond farewel - be warned

Great service

The carers I found through Primecarers have been excellent. However the website is sometimes difficult to navigate/understand and a bit messy but then I am not very tech minded. My understanding is that it is still a small company so finding local carers might be an issue. I had to refuse many due to the fact that they would spend more time travelling than doing work! so not very good for them. The office staff has been very helpful and the present carer we have is absolutely brilliant

It’s surprising and disappointing to read this, as our records show extensive contact and support. Over the past few weeks, our team called, messaged, and emailed you more than a dozen times to help you connect with clients, complete your checks, and make the most of the platform.

PrimeCarers provides an introductory platform that connects self-employed carers directly with families. We’re always happy to support carers who engage with us, but ultimately, success on the platform depends on actively responding to opportunities and communicating with potential clients.

Your profile was reviewed, your DBS verified, and you were invited to multiple roles, several of which you declined. We’re sorry you didn’t find a suitable match, but it would be inaccurate to describe us or our support as “inexistent.”

If you’d like further assistance, our team is always available at support@primecarers.co.uk, though given the level of help already provided, we’d say we’ve done everything humanly possible to support your success.

First class company

We've been using PrimeCarers now for two years and the service they have provided us has been first class throughout. Their online web portal is feature-rich and very easy to navigate with all the information on carer bookings and admin really easy to access. The live-in carers we have looking after our elderly Mum are very professional and provide the best possible care to ensure she can remain happily in her own home. Whenever we've needed any advice or assistance, our account manager Charlotte had always responded quickly and positively. We've recommended PrimeCarers to other friends and they too have enjoyed a great experience, so we have no hesitation in recommending PrimeCarers to anyone looking for family support care.

Transparency and choice of carers makes it stand out

I've booked three carers on Prime Carers for my mum, one live-in and two visiting. The transparency of prime Carers makes it stand out from other companies. You get to access the whole database of carers, and what you see is exactly what you pay - unlike rivals who either hide their fees and carers, or cherry pick carers for you who turn out to be unsuitable. They're also open that they're an introductory agency and not a managed care provider, unlike other providers who behave as if they're a managed service only for you to then find out they're not once they have your money. You also don't get charged anything up front, and the notice periods are very fair, unlike some other companies. One of my payments didn't go through once (through the fault of the local authority rather than me), and I wasn't penalised for it. I'd recommend Prime Carers if you want a choice of carer and you're comfortable doing the searching yourself, and don't want to get ripped off with hidden fees and clauses.

James director from Prime Care has been…

James director from Prime Care has been outstanding right from the very beginning in welcoming, providing suitable prime care package to my Mother and continues to deliver and support with loyalty in his excellant services, wiith a,great continuity in communication and has always gone above and beyond for my Mother and myself and I'm sure for all his other clients too. He has always addressed any matters that I have bought to his attention, privately promptly and professionally. On rare occasions, some Carer's haven't been suitable and have differed with the care package rhey originally agreed to provide to my Mother. James has always fairly resolved and sought a more suituable carer. Negative reviews left from any unsuitable carers after leaving or poliely asked to leave is not appreciated by the Client or Prime Care. Prime Care isn't just Prime, it is the Best.

Much needed support in difficult times

When my father’s health deteriorated and he could no longer live independently, I dreaded having to go through the process of finding care providers, having had a bad experience previously with my grandparents’ providers. PrimeCarers have advice and connected us with a carer who is fantastic and has made a difficult experience immeasurably better.

They Get the Job Done

Honestly, PrimeCarers does a great job. They understood what I was looking for for my mum, and caregivers started getting back to me within a few hours. After chatting to a couple of people, we settled on Rosalyn, and it was super easy to have her be paid. I would recommend giving it a go, even if you just pop your postcode in to see who's available near you.

Thinking about using Prime Carers later…

Thinking about using Prime Carers later this year and have been impressed so far. I decided to check on reviews of Prime Carers and am curious why no good reviews from 2021 and bad reviews from 2024. Has something happened to Prime Carers between 2021 and 2024|?

Hi Ivan, thank you for getting in touch and for checking our reviews. We decided to leave Trustpilot a few years ago due to its high costs and limitations on review ownership, which reduced transparency. By avoiding those fees, we can pass savings on to our clients, keeping some of the lowest fees in the business. We now point people to google if they want to leave us a review, which are simpler, more transparent, and more cost-effective, and enables us to legally use the reviews in our marketing material without incurring a cost. If you have any further questions, please let us know.

Not recommended

Not recommended. Website appeared to offer the chance to message an individual carer (who was miles away in any event) but then somehow turned this it into a "job ad", resulting in it being circulated to other carers who also nearly all lived miles away, even though I closed down the process halfway through. There also seems to be no easy to way to delete your account and data once you realise it's not suited to your needs and I found the website quite counter-intuitive to use in any event. The whole experience also generated multiple emails, text messages and phone calls from helpful staff members, despite apparently not having any available carers in my area. Sadly I have decided to ask them to delete my account to avoid having to let down some very lovely-sounding ladies who are not near enough to be suitable carers.

Dear Sheila,

Thank you for taking the time to share your feedback. We’re sorry to hear that your experience with PrimeCarers was not as you had hoped.

Our system is designed to help clients connect with independent carers in their area. In some of the more remote locations, the number of available carers can be limited, which sometimes means we need to expand the search radius further than we would ideally like. We did our best to find you some options despite the lack of local carers, but unfortunately, we weren’t able to help in the end. We understand that this outcome was frustrating.

Fortunately for you, our service operates on a success-based commission, meaning we only earn when we successfully match clients with carers. While no harm was done, we do appreciate that the lack of success was disappointing.

I’m glad to hear that your account manager did a good job and that, despite their time and effort not leading to a successful match, you still found them helpful. We always aim to provide support, even when the outcome is not one we all would have hoped for.

We genuinely appreciate you considering PrimeCarers and wish you all the best in finding the right care solution. If there’s anything further we can do to assist, please don’t hesitate to reach out.
