Prime Video is absolutely hilarious to me in a sense of poor design especially from a multi-billion dollar company like Amazon. They should just DITCH Prime Video instead and lower our Prime subscription cost because this platform is trash. The only thing that's holding them up is The Boys TV series while everything else is beyond mediocre and so is the selection.

Unlike Netflix, Prime Video thankfully doesn't seem to have pushed content but why is there a standalone website called Prime Video and then there's Prime Video on Amazon's webpage where you can browse selections like you're buying products? It makes no sense to me.

Not only that, but after you pay for Prime Video included with your Prime membership, so much of the content still requires you to watch ads in order for them to keep it "free". I thought that idea wasn't terrible up until I actually tried watching one of the movies and the ads are a nightmare. Long, repetitive and comes up as often as if you were watching TV!

The video player is actually not bad, but the content is just terrible. Unless you pay for Amazon Prime already, don't even bother with Prime Video. In my household, we only ever visit Prime Video when we're desperate. Then we end up watching a movie from 40 years ago. Like Amazon Music, Prime Video is such a dud.

They only have english customer support, but the support workers suck at english. It is liking talking to a door, they dont understand anything you say, and they dont respond to what youre writing. It is like they dont know their own product.

Why when you subscribe to Prime Video do you then have to AGAIN pay to view. Disgraceful streaming site. I’m cancelling my subscription

Great streaming service! No problems and would get movies on HD or UHD If that is what I asked for. Subtitles are alright and I had no problems while using Prime Video.

Without doubt the worst streaming service on skyQ. Trying to watch Jack Ryan and is is in UHD. Therefore very dark. There is no method to turn off UHD. I have followed all the instructions on Google but will not change. Immature site.

So much is not in the OV and only available in German. Very dumb! Definitely canceling my subscription until that changes.

As so many others have said, prime has really deteriorated at the same time costing a lot more. As others have also said a lot of what was once free content (which it isn't as your are paying a subscription for it!) you now have to rent or buy! There's not as much new content added as was the case before and the new menu/UI is appalling! It's not easier to use at all, half of the features have been taken away just replaced with constant push to pay for more and more stuff. Not worth the money. And I don't think a company owned by a man who has more money than he can spend in his lifetime can blame the money grabbing down to the cost of living crisis. Just greedy capitalism working at it's best in my view. Won't be renewing my subscription like it sounds many others won't. Time to listen to your customers Amazon/Geoff!

I've had a couple of runs at Prime Video but honestly for me the censorship rating is too off skew! Tonight I sat down to a seemingly innocent R13 thinking it would be pretty much violence free. But! 5 mins in with 'Life, Itself 2018' even after watching the trailer to check it was palatable for me. There's a disgustingly violent scene where a seemingly harmless 'hello' as Oliva Wilde is crossing the road - where she is recognized in the movie as someone famous... Boom! She gets hit by a bus! But people the most offensive of all she not just hit where you she her helpless body laying there on the road! When the camera pans in... Her scull starts oozing blood like 1000 crushed plums all at once! Disgusting & disrespectful cinema! In my book! Genuine entertainment does not need to insult the senses! Neither to gain interest or be engaging! Just because I've started watching it doesn't mean I have to continue! I've cancelled my membership again!! 😳 Big thumbs down 👎 in my book...

Please bring back the original prime video. Its wasnt so frustrating

Absolutely diabolical!!! Such a rip off really do not bother wasting the money!!!! They can’t even get the title and picture correct the newest one uploaded says 22 jump street on the picture, once selected takes you to 21 jump street is it really that hard it sort of explains everything when you can’t even upload the new movies everyday correctly, if you upload them at all it should be called new movies everyday if we can be assed!!! Also the majority of movies and series are so rubbish they are unwatchable they are truly garbage and that’s kind to be honest I’m glad I watch for free through another account who only have it for the prime postage haha
But put simply if you doing it for the prime videos just save your money as you’ll probably be sorely disappointed!!!!

Since they updated the layout of prime video, you now how to filter to see 'free to me', and that's if the page allows it. It's now made it frustrating to use, as if they thought it would be simpler 🤦‍♀️ imbeciles.

Whatever you do, do NOT add City TV to your list of Prime channels. It used to be a good channel, but now.......
Firstly, it repeatedly shows, what has been rated the most annoying commercial in history, which is for Ignite TV.
Secondly, and this is the main gripe, it constantly interrupts programs with CITY TV ads, ON TOP OF THE AD BREAKS ALREADY IN THE SHOW.

Horrible and frustrating company to deal with. I canceled my account and they are still charging me and told me to cancel my credit card to resolve it.

Way too much of the content is pay to view meaning that I am largely subscribing to a (poor) menu system.

To add to the frustration, I am getting tired of starting a film which, with no warning or indication, turns out to be in a foreign language.

Time to move on?

Seems there is more and more content being switched from included with prime to rent or buy.Was watching fear the walking dead ,then suddenly in September it went to having to buy it...Will be cancelling.

I am not very satisfied. More and better videos than Netflix, definetly. I am not sure abut the @Lord of the rings@ sequel. It is not so sympathic. The storie is sometimes difficult to follow and I am missing a strong score like in the original. They use a lot of effects.

They have interesting series like @damaged goods@ in german. Though I prefer sky.com

I've found it to be a great extra bonus to my amazon subscription - in addition to the free shipping!!

I shat myself when i saw the prices. Ripped prices just like my ripped backside

I've had Amazon prime for over a year and paid monthly. When I got notified of the price hike to £8.99 a month I initially considered endng my monthly subscription.
However I do get free prime reading and a free kindle book every month, as well as free prime delivery.
I decided to change my subscription to a yearly fee of £79 to avoid the price hike.
I'm now seriously wishing that I'd thought about it a bit longer and would advise anyone in my position to think before you change.
Since I changed, the app has changed so you can't just search easily for whatever tv programme or film is free.
More and more of the content has to he paid for on top of your subscription and currently the included content ia limited and it's difficult to find anything new.
The free content seems to be the same old stuff which has been there for months.
I also have netflix, which is included with my sky tv package and that is 100% better. All of their content is free and there is constant new content.
I only changed my prime to a years subscription a couple of weeks ago, and really wish I hadn't.
I would suggest that anyone considering changing from monthly to yearly thinks twice. Unless you are going to use the kindle prime reading and delivery benefits it might not be worth it.
I will use the prime reading but the current video content is very poor in comparison to netflix and apple.
Too many programmes and movies have to be paid for on top of your subscription.
