Really disappointed in the quality of the plants sent out
They are sold as mature plants , one of the 3 plants has only one shoot showing at present and considering the nursery is 200 miles south of where I live I would have expected more , doesn't fill me with confidence that more shots will follow . the other plants have very thin weak shoots .

The plants are well rooted and will flower this year. They are outdoor grown and are therefore subject to local weather conditions. With the coming of the spring warmer climate they will flourish and flower late May/June, they are of course in our guarantee scheme if registered here:

Age and condition of plants did not match description
Given the description on the website and in Primrose Hall adverts - and the price, we were expecting plants that were 5 years old and established in their pots. What we got was offsets, that from the very limited root growth had only been in their pots since the autumn. As we tapped them out of the pots most of the soil dropped away from the roots - so the accurate description should be 'recently potted bare rooted offsets'. Perfectly healthy plants that should grow OK, but not as described. Be aware....

Your order was in February 2024 and peony plants are not large then as their season is May to June with flowers. The plants were sent to you exactly as they should be at that time of year but have grown in our nursery for 5 years. Peony plants actually completely die back end of summer and Autumn so in the winter you are still getting a 5 year grown plant but the foilage will grow in spring! You were not sold a 'recently potted bare root' as you have stated.
We hope you planted your two peony plants as the care guide directed and that your plants are growing well in your garden.

It took over two weeks for a gift…
It took over two weeks for a gift voucher to arrive, when it did it missed my trip to deliver it so i had to post it on. When it arrived to me it was all creased and bent up and not how I would have liked to receive it or to have had to give it. The thought was well received as a gift but I was left disappointed with the time it took to come and the state it arrived in so would think twice buying again

Ordered 2 peonies. Only 1 delivered. Tried to ring - no answer. Emailed using website info- no response. Dreadful service. Avoid.
