OUTSTANDING
Great company! Their representatives are extremely helpful and I can't express enough how happy my family and I are to have had their service. They made the process very easy for us! I wish most companies did business like Priority. I highly recommend Priority Home Relocations to anyone looking to move long distance. Do yourself a favor and save some money and at the same time, breathee because they have your back!
CRIMINALS!!!
HORRIBLE HORRIBLE HORRIBLE COMPANY!!!! They took our deposit after we agreed upon a price, called 2 days before we were supposed to be moving and said it will cost an extra $2000. If that's not bad enough they took our $800 deposit & then THEY DIDNT SHOW UP! They then proceeded to tell me that my deposit is non refundable and hung up on me. Do yourself a favor and go with a credible company!
DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY
Company cannot locate freight shipped with company and refuses to resolve the situation now 7 weeks after the deliver date. Interactions with company have been unprofessional, aggressive, rude and unhelpful throughout our entire experience. On December 28th 2020 my personal belongings were picked up and had been estimated for deliver on January 2nd of 2021. Since January 2nd there haven't be 15+ times we have been told the freight was in route to be deliver and today marks 7 weeks past the deliver date. The customer service agents are unable to provide information in regards to the whereabouts of my things or if the company still has them in possession. If anyone in the company is reading this please help me resolve this issue and locate my personal belongings.
Do Not Recommend
I do not recommend this company. They showed up two days late to pick up our stuff and showed up over a week late. They get you with a bunch of hidden fees and fine print. The staff was very unprofessional on the phone and those working on moving us. Please save your time and money and book with another company.
Great experience!!
WHAT CAN I SAY, WE ARE UTTERLY GRATEFUL THAT WE USED THIS COMPANY !!!!! BEING A SINGLE MOM TRYING TO MOVE CROSS COUNTRY IS NOT IN THE LEAST BIT EASY. HOWEVER, I WANTED TO MOVE BACK WHERE I ACTUALLY HAVE SOME FAMILY. THIS COMPANY WAS AWESOME FROM DAY ONE, PERSISTENT LOL BUT AMAZING. THEY EASED MY CONCERNS AND GAVE ME A VERY REASONABLE RATE. I CALLED TO SEE WHERE MY ITEMS WHERE AND THEY UPDATED ME AS MUCH AS POSSIBLE. NO ISSUES WITH ITEMS BREAKING OR ANY OF THOSE HORROR STORIES THAT YOU HEAR. LETS JUST SAY, I HAVE NO INTENTIONS ON MOVING AGAIN; BUT IF I DO, I WOULD CERTAINLY USE PRIORITY AGAIN. I NEVER TAKE THE TIME TO LEAVE REVIEWS, EXCEPT WHEN I AM VERY UPSET LOL. I FELT LIKE I NEEDED TO LEAVE THIS POSITIVITY FOR ALL OF YOU TO SEE, THEY ARE GREAT!!!
Still am missing my furniture a month later
I’ve been getting the run around from both companies as to when my furniture will arrive. Contract said 2-15 business days from 11/7 and I still haven’t received an update I am the one contacting them and have been told on three different occasion my stuff was on the truck and I should hear from the driver in 2-5 business days. No one has called me and there seems to be no one in charge or a manager that can help. Do not use at any cost. I paid almost $2200 and have been living
Danni is a life saver
Danni is a life saver. I had misfortunes after misfortunes and had to move. It’s definitely nerve racking having to move during the pandemic but it was made easier. Thank you!
I Get Around.
I have a career that requires me to move frequently, moving from state to state is a nerve-racking experience in itself, but the customer service I received with this company was by far second to none. The female I spoke to was very knowledgeable, patient and had a “cute voice”. No but to be serious - Great performance!
IMary Banta
I moved from New Jersey to Fort Pierce Fl. A young lady named Danni helped me every step of the way. I couldn't have done it without her!! What an experience!! There were no hidden costs and no unexpected surprises at the end. I got an amazing price and it all went so smoothly!! Thank you so much for all of your help!!
Great service would do it again.
Horrible Experience. AVOID.
Avoid. Your initial conversations will be comforting, but from then on it will be another experience entirely.
I got an original quote for ~$4,000 on a move from Los Angeles to Kansas City for a 2 bedroom home and workout equipment. Placed down payment as required. Got a follow-up call to review the move 48 hours before they arrived for the move (less than the 72 hour cancellation window) and priced was increased due to representatives additional questions. Price almost doubled, but without ability to get deposit back or to change service providers, accepted the upcharge. For example, on the first call, I told them we had bedroom set with 2 dressers and a king size bed. The person calling 48 hours in advanced asked if the bed had a frame and box springs. I said yes, and they said I didn't tell them there were box springs or a frame and that increases the cost. Maybe just me, but I'd assume most people using this service are not putting their mattresses on the floor. I would have assumed they would have either 1) asked that specific question up front, or 2) assumed that box springs went with the mattress. Many other similar examples to this one.
Either way, once the movers got there, the cost increased again. Ended up at $9,300. Again, no way to change at this point so reluctantly had to agree. I read reviews that warned about up-charging throughout the process, but brushed off as a one-off. Not the case. Also, I was also told by the first person I booked the services with that she would be my point of contact throughout the entire process. Again, not the case. I haven't spoken to the original person yet...and I've called multiple times throughout the process. Same thing every time I call. I ask for the original person (I'm avoiding specific names) and I'm always put on hold and not surprisingly every time they say she's busy. They sell you a good story on the initial call. It's all downhill from there. If you decide to ignore this review, then I wish you luck.
Do NOT fall prey to this company
I signed my original agreement with Priority Home Relocation, LLC. on 9/11/2020. During the phone call that was recorded, I made clear that we needed to move out of our NY address on 10/15, and into the new location in NH on 10/16. The man that I spoke with (Julian) assured me that since it was only 258 miles, that would not be a problem. Walking through furniture and boxes that would be moved, I told Julian that his estimate of cubic footage needed for our move was lower than estimates that I had received from other companies. He told me that overestimating was something that brokers do and that we would be fine. He told me that they are not a broker, used their own guys, and that none of their workers had fewer than 3 years of experience in the warehouse before being allowed to work on the moves themselves. I am aware of the wording in the contract about the days that may be required for delivery, but I was assured that our move would happen on our schedule because of the short distance. The dates listed in the Relocation Details section of the agreement to reflect the tight schedule.
I later received a call from John Harris to go over the items we were going to have delivered. After discussing large items we were no longer taking and realizing that Julian had underestimated and, in some cases, ignored the descriptions of the items I had given him, John told me that our move would cost more. Upset by this, I stated that the number of boxes we were taking was also significantly less. I brought this to his attention, and he said that we should then be fine and he kept us at the same estimate. This was the 2nd person to confirm the estimate.
On the day of our move, a different moving company, Liberty Moving, arrived to move our belongings. We were never told that our move was going to be brokered out. Julian assured me that they use their own guys and that they are not a broker. As I'm signing the paperwork and the move is beginning around me, our foreman Willy asked me to sign a paper that restated the 2-15 day delivery policy. I contacted Priority and spoke to Tammy who told me to sign the papers, that it was just a formality, and reassured me that delivery would not take that long because it was only 258 miles. We were also told that we could call back later in the day to get our delivery time. The estimate of space that our belongings would require was ultimately underestimated and we were forced to pay an additional $325. Grossly underestimating our cubic footage was a lie designed to get our business. We asked several questions of our foreman, Willy, the most important being whether or not we had to wait for another pickup or delivery in NH before our belongings were delivered to the new place, and he said, "that is not how it works." He then went on to tell us that our delivery isn't dependent on any other jobs. Following Tammy's instructions, I called Priority Home Relocation after our belongings were packed up and were told they didn't know yet our delivery time, but they would call to let us know by the end of business that day. No one ever called.
A series of phone calls then began the next day, and we quickly realized that the delivery schedule was the biggest and most costly of the lies told to us. When we finally got a hold of Liberty, we learned that our delivery DID depend on other business in our new area. Another lie from these companies. We were promised approximately ten times (and all of these promises were recorded and can be reviewed) that we would be called back with information and no one ever returned those calls as promised. In the end, we were delivered a week later than promised, which caused us to outlay thousands of dollars in hotels, food, and rent for an apartment we couldn’t live in. After days of contacting Priority Home Relocation, I finally spoke to a supervisor named Horatio who told me that he would review the phone call of our estimate. While it took him several more days than promised, he did contact us to let me know that I should file a complaint through movingclaims.net and confirmed that what I said was indeed true. He apologized for the "misinformation," but there was nothing he could do other than direct me to this site.
When our items were delivered, every box but one was crushed or badly damaged. Some of our larger pieces also suffered damage and smaller items were completely unusable and had to be thrown away.
The experience with Priority Home Relocation was horrible from top to bottom and they aren’t responding to the Better Business Bureau with whom we also filed a claim.
Great Move
Moving has always been so stressful never less moving across country When I found out my husband's new job was in Georgia my jaw dropped. I was contacted by a girl named Brooke we went through my whole home and listed all the furniture we needed moved. She came back with a great price we booked the same day. Two weeks later the movers arrived they took their time making sure everything was properly protected and loaded up the truck and brought it across country to my new home in Georgia. The men were so great and very picky they help me stage the home just how I wanted it. I am very happy with other services they provided me in my family I recommend them to anybody!
Great experience
I used this company and couldn’t have been happier. I moved from New York ( Long Island) to Florida. I received the price quoted from my agent Gianna Ross. They were prompt and I received everything within the time frame. 3 days as promised.
At first I was hesitant after reading past reviews. But Gianna answered every concern I had up until delivery to my door. They are family operated. My experience was great. All I can say is I was absolutely satisfied and wouldn’t hesitate to use them in the future. Thanks priority home relocation!
Great company
Great company! I felt like one of their own. They were very professional and kept nothing from me. I knew what to expect, and didnt have one complaint! Thank you so much!!
HORRIBLE!!
HORRIBLE!!! California to Tennessee. I was given a quote, signed a contract for that quote with Brooke Harris 300cu ft for $2273. Paid 50% that day. Supposed to pay 50% on the day that the movers come pick up & the remainder of the balance on delivery. Three days later was contacted by John Harris who tried to sell me more space on the truck, 65 cu ft for $544. Stated I just wanted my original signed contract honored. The day the shady movers show up they have a contract for 365 cu ft, demand $1100 to load my stuff or I'm out my original deposit! Totally in tears, I pay. Once my items are loaded it was plainly obvious that I DIDN'T EVEN USE 300 cu ft!! Was told drivers could adjust the price...ANOTHER LIE! Call the company to let them know and they give me a complete run around, no one returns calls, they lie and actually hang up on you!! I currently DO NOT have my belongings and now "Sam" in customer service won't return my calls!! CHOOSE ANOTHER COMPANY SO YOU WON'T GET SCAMMED!!! They claim to record phone calls so if that's the case, ALL OF THIS can be verified!
What an amazing experience i had with…
What an amazing experience i had with priority i moved from n.y. to Florida i was very nervous and did not know what to expect as I have never moved so far in my life. It went very smooth fair price and very professional. I would recommend Mary and priority. To my friends family and anyone. I know. I would definitely use them again! If I could give 10 stars I would.
Priority Home Relocation is a Scam
Long story short, they grossly underestimate the cost of your move and then send a subcontractor to extort you. Priority Home Relocation or Colonial Moves You are the names of the front company. They then use two different subcontractors to fulfill the move. The subcontractors add thousands of dollars in charges that directly violate your original contract. The subcontractors used for our move were Nabout Movers LLC and AJ Pro Logistics.
They only picked up half the stuff stated in the contract.
Then they attempted to hold our stuff hostage to get more cash from us. In addition to damaging the property, they did move. They didn't even move our stuff into our apartment, they dropped it on the side of the road.
The full story of my move is here: is at Jake Dermer .Com (Typically i would just link the address but that is not allowed here. There are pictures and pdf evidence to support this review)
If you've had an experience with these movers, please click the link and reach out to me. Together we will be able to stop this from happening to anyone else.
I had to move to Jacksonville from Florida
I had to move to Jacksonville from Florida a couple of weeks ago and was quite confused about how to relocate everything. On suggestion from a colleague, I contacted Priority Home Relocation service. Right from the first interaction to transportation and final settlement, everything went pretty smoothly with them. Thanks to the professional team of movers there, I got settled at my new place without hassle.
Awesome Experience
I highly recommend this company. I had such an awesome experience. What was thought of a grueling process became something very easy to do by the help with some great professionals.
