I am behind in filing. Priortax made it easy to do the return, have it reviewed by a CPA and print it. I will use it again shortly.

Wonderful. He caught an error that was going to cost me $2500.

Don't change the price of the product just because a person doesn't have the total amount yet and has to wait for funds.

This is a complicated review for me. I had to file three years back taxes, 2021, 2022, 2023. 2023 was easy, it was mostly W2, one little 1099 and the rest straight forward. 5 stars. It has been a total nightmare dealing with 2021 and 2022. I have a mixed media of income with self-employment and W-2 and some other fun income items sprinkled in the mix. It is not ideal for this. It is also not ideal if you had ACA coverage for part of a year and then employer provided insurance for the rest of the year. You cannot input this, anywhere, so get ready to see your tax bill hike the way up with penalties. They other issue I had is that when I've needed to go in and make some edits to my return after my review, I have to either get someone on the phone - so hard - or write a message and wait a couple of days to get a response...and then wait another couple of days for another response. It's exhausting. I should be able to just pop in, make the edits myself, especially if they aren't being electronically filed. The plus side, customer service via phone are so nice. And they are really helpful. But getting a person is a journey. So, PriorTax is a win for the simple returns. It is not a win for the complex. I'm going to have to redo my 2021 and 2022 elsewhere and eat the cost difference for having to redo with another company. Simple - yay. Complex - abort missing and go elsewhere.

I first used Priortax to catch up on taxes for late filing several years in a row, then the past 3 years for current year filing, and my experience has been hassle free and easy to follow, especially as I am a contract healthcare professional and homeowner so I itemize. Very reasonable fees for as many attachments as were needed, and all handled electronically including automatic deposit or funds transfer if needed. Strongly feel they help get the maximum deductions unlike free websites I input my info in 1st, who more often than not had me paying taxes when PriorTax.com computed a refund! Try them, you won't be disappointed!

I filed my 2023 taxes on 03/05, I am still waiting on them to be filed and it is 03/18. The website states 2-4 days for efile to be processed. I have sent 5 messages with no response and site says 1-3 days for response from messages sent. I am about to report to the bbb and dispute my charge if my taxes are not file immediately!!!

Directions clear and simple to file!!

Price is good.
It supports back years for farther back than any other service I could find.
Some options I wanted were not available. For instance, simplified home office deduction.

Easy, convenient, and great service.
