Priortax is terrible. There is no support. They have a chat option that doesn't work and they never answer the phone. Please avoid this company.

I have had outstanding service for years with this company. I have worked directly with Saad Sultan to review my returns several time. He is incredible, super professional and lighting fast.
The price is so low its hard to believe, a walk in local CPA firm would charge thousands more to do this.

This was not a good experience. I was not able to get a hold of anyone via the phone number that is provided for customer service. This was after I was charged for services. After hours on hold with no answer I gave up. I used text messaging provided on the web site but again no response was ever given. This was very misleading service and response time. I still do not know the outcome. I would avoid using this service if you need any customer service to answer any questions you have or to ask about status of returns.

I've been trying to reach someone regarding my return and you can never speak with a live person. You press 1 listen to the Que and then press 2 and it loops back to the beginning. Oh and there's never anyone available on their chat box. So I've even left a written message three times and still I cant download a copy of my return. Oh and Im mailing in and not filing electronically. I wonder how big of a mess that would be. I've contacted the IRS and made a complaint against them. If they are certified tax prepares, then the IRS may want to look into how they are operating and maybe investigate them. The do have my PII and that concerns me.

Had to file prior year taxes for 3 years in order for the IRS to release my 2018 taxes. 2015, 2014, and 2013 were all from my sales from, selling on eBay and other online sales. Well, I searched and ended up here. It was pretty simple to follow the instructions and a PLUS I was able to type everything online with the forms and everything is able to be printed with all your info typed in. I usually use TurboTax for current year taxes but it wasn't what I needed when it came to prior year taxes. Lon story short. I filled all my info in for all three missing tax years, printed and mailed them to the IRS. Took less than a month for the IRS to receive, review and release my 2018 taxes and to send me a check for the 2015 and 2014 tax years that I wasn't even expecting. Well worth what I paid for 3 prior tax year forms and it was a lot of forms. Lesson learned and I will always file on time. Thank goodness for this website. Id RECOMMEND for anyone needed to file prior year taxes.

Again I wish there was a zero stars I have tried over 10 times by phone and email to get a hold of a agent and even made clear that 2pm Central time is a good time but still nothing and now I have no choice but to call the BBB it's like take my money but that's! it not helpful at at all awful customer service I would not recommend😠😡

Thank you Saad for sharing your expertise in such an amazing way! While we felt we were in crisis mode, Saad remained calm and walked us through the process. He responded to us each and every time we reached out for help. During these difficult times, it is refreshing to know that we now have a tax expert we can trust.

I has a Great Experience with Prior Tax representative Saad Saltun. I needed help filing back tax reports and he was the perfect fit for me.
I just finished my first back tax and not I am excited to get on the rest of them to get caught. I appreciate being able to do this online since I live in a remote area of Arizona. Thank you Priortax and especially Saad Saltun for all your help.

Very easy to use and relatively foolproof. Both phone and chat support available. BEFORE YOU PAY A DIME.

The fee is a bit high for a simple return but it is very easy to understand and get through.

Don’t answer their support at all.
Tried phone during business hours. Answering machine says to call back during business hours...

Wonderful service I was able to file 2017 and 2018 at a very affordable price and also with great customer service when I reached out for help thank you so much for offering this website it really helped out a lot.I was scared of my taxes late but this website walked me through every step

I first found Prior Tax online when I had to file a lot of past returns due to a hardship in my family. Saad Sultan was the one who I was connected with when I requested the CPA review feature. Not only did he make the process of filing several old returns fairly painless, he helped me to file an Offer in Compromise which was successful and saved me thousands of dollars. He got me back on track and current with all my filing obligations, and I will continue to use him for all things tax related. Saad is pleasant, professional, understanding, and got things done in a timely manner. He answered tons of my questions and had a lot of patience. Highly recommend!

it was easy to use but it didn't have some of the areas to claim items such as the credit for the military months served while in active duty years of service for the discount... I probably needed the more complex return to do as ours can be complicated... but at leaste I get it filed then I can take it to my CPA to fix and amend... these times are hard right now with the COVID19 so unable to get to my CPA. thank you for being available for this!

I needed to file for a previous year quickly and this was a fast and effective system to work with. I received my copy by e-mail the same day which enabled me to get it in the mail right away. Since this program is much less expensive than others and I had a good experience I used it for filing my 2019 taxes. Hoping all goes just as smoothly. One thing I found annoying was that if I wanted to make changes to a section, it erased everything in that section instead of just allowing me to go in and change the one box I needed.

I had used these guys in the past and continued to use them for a number of years. This year however I filed my taxes and days later I reached out when the IRS had not received them. I was told "As our company is stressed due to the situation of the coronavirus, our system is required to undergo updates which has affected our online processing system. We are undergoing system upgrades maintenance to resolve this issue as soon as possible to ensure PDFs are delivered and returns are processed for efiling with the least amount of delay.

We will let you know when your return is efiled via this message board. Thank you for your patience at this time."

Which I responded with asking exactly what ETA they had for sending them out. I understand people are stressed and working beyond capacity with COVID-19 however they replied to my request with an ETA with

"The latest will be Monday."

That was the last communication I saw from them since the 26th of March. Which I would be OK with except their website calls out clearly their COVID-19 response of...

"Returns will continue to be processed during this time."

So they are glad to take your money but based on recent reviews on Trustpilot I would say you're not going to get them processed. They have stopped responding to any message I have left for days. I don't believe you're acting in good faith when you tell everyone you're operating then turn around and not provide the service, meet the commitments you laid out or communicate with your customers. I would have more respect if they came out and said sorry, we're overwhelmed and you will be delayed significantly but they are not saying that they are simply taking money in and not doing the work.

I wont ever use this company again because this is very deceptive.

Again I'm told to leave a message in my account if I have questions or concerns but I have done that for over a week! With no response from them. So that message is clearly not receiving action. They have time to reply to a trust pilot review but not enough time to answer customer questions or process claims?

If that is not sketchy I don't know what is. Do yourself a favor and steer clear.
