After a whole fiasco that was our 2017 taxes I was looking for a way to file back taxes and came across priortax.com took a look at the reviews before giving away every bit of my identity and the reviews looked solid, so I forged ahead.

Filled out all of the information followed the instructions and then came to the part where I could opt in for a CPA review. I knew I would owe and I had accepted that but I wanted to make sure I was not missing anything and I figured what's the harm?

I paid for the CPA review and scheduled a day and time, even in the early evening. Saad called me during the window that was agreed and we started to go through everything and I started getting the feeling that I had made some mistakes due to the complexity of what I had.

In short Saad quickly saw I did not have everything I should have for my 1099-B's and basically saved me 14k and change due to some simple missteps and misunderstandings of the tax forms.

I am now going to pay him go back and review my 2018's.

I cannot thank him and priortax.com enough, absolutely awesome customer service and results.

State should have been available company just wanted extra money

I had to go back and forth between screens several times to assure the AGI was correct. There's still concern for me on this but I'm not the specialist as this program is supposed to be. Given those concerns I will have this reviewed by a "live" not virtual person. (And therefore incur more expense.) $80 to deal with virtual review people is too much $$$$$.
