We had a wonderful day with Calvin, our guide. A very memorable experience made possible by Calvin’s attention to detail and our needs.

I'm writing to say how great our tour of Sissinghurst and Great Dixter was on Sunday, June 29. I'd like to especially recognize James, who was the perfect guide -- knowledgeable, friendly, and so interesting to talk with. He is outstanding.

Kevin was outstanding! He gave my wife and I a very informative tour of the Cotswolds. Loved it!

EXCEPTIONAL service provided. We thoroughly enjoyed every aspect of our tour. The only part we might have skipped was the Canterbury Walking Tour as it was too crowded, noisy, long, and difficult walking on cobble-stoned lanes by two old people. However, we simply cut it short and went for lunch. Problem solved. Our driver, Graham, was the absolute best representative of the British and we would have been happy for him to have conducted each of our tours personally as he was both knowledgeable, fun, interesting, etc. We felt pampered at all turns, and he had no problem with our frequent bathroom breaks on the road as well as catering to our desire to tour small churches along the way. He was a rock star! The Mercedes "van" was very comfortable and easily accommodated my 6'3" stretch. In addition, we were thrilled, stunned, and most appreciative of the company arranging our Tower of London tour request at the last minute and at no additional charge. Our hotel stay was excellent and there were several small pubs within a short walking distance to vary our evening food choices. All in all, the services and planning exceeded our expectations.

We really enjoyed Graham, he provided a lot of information about the area, very friendly. He had some great stories and was very engaging. Kim was knowledgeable on the downton abbey locations, it was an enjoyable day.

We had a wonderful week in England, very well organized by Private Tours England. Laura was very helpful in helping us determining our itinerary. Stacy planned all the details to the perfection. Our driver Dean was very entertaining. All our guides were knowledgeable. We had a wonderful time and we cannot wait to go back! Thank you Private Tours England team!!

I can't begin to tell you what a WONDERFUL time I had. I've been home for two weeks and
I am already missing your beautiful country. Dean, Tony, Rhys, Sioban and Jonathan all helped
to make this the most special vacation I have ever had. I am already planning to return next year
and I will most definitely be using your service. You are a wonderful service and the people who
work for you are EXCEPTONAL. I was most impressed by the absolute dedication of everyone
involved to make sure the schedule and all of my requests were met. On a scale of 1 through 10, I would give all of you a 100. (I would go higher, but you get the point). I could go on and on. I can't think of one single thing you need to improve on.

I would like you to know how wonderful Private tours England did in planning our trip and how terrific our Guide/Driver Mark was.
Everything went completely smoothly without a hitch. The accommodations were spot on and the overall trip was well planned and comprehensive.

Ten family members enjoyed a bespoke trip through the Cotswolds, and on to Bath, Stonehenge, Salisbury, and Winchester. Tony and Mark could not have been more knowledgeable, patient, professional, and game for what ever we threw their way. And they had ideas along the way that only enhanced an already fabulous trip.

Shane was very professional, car was clean, with plenty of leg room.

Our driver was Peter! We had Peter for 5 days!! He was a wonderful driver, patient and full of history knowledge. Every day Peter had water, drinks, fruit, cookies and cupcakes for us!! He was so pleasant to be around!! Thanks again Peter for all you did! Please tell your family we said hi!! Oh remember Peter “Fir Farm Milk Vending Machine” is the best!

Shané our driver/tour guide was patient and friendly and had lots of information!! His car was well equipped with phone wires and water and very clean.
The tour guide Wendy at Stonehenge was great and sweet!! Going to Cotswold was a life long dream very fulfilling.
Definitely recommend this tour and company!!!

This tour was custom made based on what we were looking to do and it was done flawlessly. We saw the White Cliffs of Dover, Canterbury Town, Canterbury Cathedral, and Leeds Castle. We loved being in control of our day. Everything was taken care of including purchasing tickets to any site. We booked the option with a driver and not a driver and guide but it was like we had one anyways. Shane knew a lot about what we were seeing and kept us entertained and informed. I recommend booking with this company and asking for Shane!

Shane was professional, knowledgeable and courteous. The vehicle was in pristine condition and his driving skills immaculate. If I had more time in England, I would definitely book again.

We had an amazing time with Dean and visiting your beautiful country. Everyone we met were warm, engaging, and friendly. Dean was amazing. His history knowledge and appreciation for the sights we visited added great value to our experience. His van was perfect and comfortable for the longer trips we took. He knew so many little tricks to optimize time and our experience. My wife and I are truly grateful for his knowledge and all the fun conversations we had.
It has also been great working with your firm as we planned this trip and experience. Thank you for everything.

Peter did a great job. He is courteous and exceptionally knowledgeable . We truly appreciated all the historical information he shared with us . Peter made our journey very enjoyable and informative .

We enjoyed our tour with Mark. Mark was personable, informative, witty and took us to the kinds of places that we were interested in and appreciated.

However, a weak point in our tour was the disappointing lunch. The restaurant was under staffed and we experienced long waits in the service.
The food was not to our taste.
The overall day trip was a highlight of our visit to England. The old villages were bustling with character and history and the countryside vistas were beautiful and will remain with us.

Mark is an excellent guide and we would highly recommend him.

On time, professional, accommodating, helpful, Shane made it a very enjoyable trip

We had a great experience with Private Tours England. Communication was easy during the booking process. Our driver, Dean, was on time picking us up. His van was clean as if it was brand new and water bottles were provided. Very professional and we enjoyed talking with him throughout our day. He walked us up to the gate at Stonehenge and Windsor Castle and to the door at The Shambles where we ate lunch. Total professional!!! Would book through the company again without question and request Dean as our driver.
