Visited the UK with family for the first time and left feeling like we experienced all and took in the culture in just 4 days, thanks to Dean. He has a vast source of knowledge that we all enjoyed to learn. Great driver with a great sense of humor. Thanks Dean!

From the initial planning to the four days in London every detail was handled and everything went off exactly as planned. We had Dean Bowman as a driver. From the moment we landed at Heathrow until he dropped us in Birmingham he accommodated all of our wishes. He was always on time, had links to our entry tickets, was patient with two of our group with mobility issues and was a wealth of information about the city.

We really enjoyed our custom experience with Private Tours England. We had a compressed schedule. Kyle did a wonderful job of giving us options and allowing us to make the most of our time to visit Stonehenge, the Salisbury Cathedral with the Magna Carta, and Mompesson House. Our driver, Dean, was great, giving us insights of London, the English countryside, and the Salisbury area. Very cool to know that he’s a West Ham supporter and that he and we were all at the previous evenings match in London!! Thank you for the great experience.

Our trip with PTE was a great experience that we would do again. Booking the trip was easy, they were able to work all the things we wanted to see and do into a short 12 day frame (we traveled throughout the whole country) and made the whole process seamless. Before the trip we talked about anything extra (afternoon teas, reservations for Valentine’s Day, etc.) and they were able to make it all happen and make the trip memorable for us. Traveling with a child under 2 can be tough, but PTE helping us to get everything booked and really just making it so we had to “show up” made it much easier.

Our driver for the trip, Dean, was absolutely phenomenal. He had a wealth of knowledge of not just the country and attractions we were going to, but also many other subjects. With how much time we spent in the car he really tried to keep us entertained and talking. Even on a day when we had no driving, he spent the day walking with us and was truly a pleasure to be around. The car was always spotless inside and out, and we always knew that no matter where we were going that we would be on time. His attitude was always fantastic, and dealing with a sometimes screaming 2 year old I was thankful for his patience!

We have tried group tours and private tours, and I can say that well we always had a great experience on group tours, the service on a private tour and the ability to make your own schedule is something that will keep me coming back. PTE was great to deal with and we will be looking to them for our next trip to the UK.

This might be the best experience I’ve ever had with a company in terms of customer service! Leading into our trip, Megan went out of her way to adjust our itinerary to our needs and wishes and even discounted the trip based on one of our party falling out of the trip last minute so that we could afford it.

On the day of, Mark customized our experience by showing up in our hotel lobby as Mr. napkin head :-)…what a wonderful way to kick off our true “the holiday (movie)” tour around Christmas time! I can’t say enough good things about this company. I would only book with them from here on out!

Both my husband and I truly enjoyed the journey with Private Tours England (PTE) to Manchester. We had a great time touring Old Trafford. We had Mark to thank for bringing us to Cotsworld and driving us along the picturesque countryside. It was beautiful and breathtaking. If there is one place we want to return, it would be Cotsworld - to explore more and spend some time breathing the fresh cold air and mix with the friendly locals. We hope to do this with PTE again in our next trip to the UK. Mark, our tour guide, was wonderful!

Thank you to the PTE team, i.e. Laura, Kyle and Sandie for speedily responding to my emails, and for gaining my trust. I am the type of person who do not trust someone or a company easily, therefore in my email comm with PTE, I had asked lengthy questions intentionally to do a due diligence, albeit virtually. With many scamming incidents lately, I was very careful before committing to this tour.

Dean, our driver and guide was excellent, informative and funny. He took care of my family and me. It was well worth to have private service to Windsor.

Excellent organization and planning! Almost every detail including meals, ticketing, guides were planned for!
We absolutely loved the stress-free program and had only to turn up on time before being whisked away in the Mercedes van for the days' itinerary. Dean, our driver and guide, was most reliable and professional. He also made personal recommendations and gave running commentaries along the way based on his experience, local knowledge and history. We really appreciated it!

Shane was our driver to the Old Vic and around London town to 4 Banksy locations including the the graffitti tunnel under the Leak St arches that i had not heard of. He's an excellent driver and went out his way to show us how to get to the Bridge theatre. This was a spontaneous request in traffic and he didnt blink an eye. Had a wonderful experince and recommend Private Tours of England.

Dean connected with all of us. He was funny and very informative about the city. He tried hard to make our experience memorable and personal. We were a multigenerational group and Dean did awesome making it fun. We would all recommend Dean!

The first circuit of our tour was of England and Wales with driver guide Kyri. The experience was fabulous. Kyri was very personable, humorous, knowledgeable and expert at adjusting our itinerary on the go. Next we met driver guide Callum for a journey through Scotland. From Edinburgh through the Highlands and Isle of Skye, Callum showed his local knowledge, passion for all things Scottish and a commitment to service. Overall, our experience was excellent & highly recommended.

We had a great experience with Dean. Lovely tour and super organized. We would highly recommend.

Our large group came to London from the US for my wife’s 50th birthday. Our day spent with Dean & Shane was nothing short of spectacular! Our 10 hour adventure began in London and took us to Woodhenge and Stonehenge, then to Windsor Castle, and then back to London. Every single step of the way was absolutely perfect. From the start, they made us all feel totally safe & comfortable in an unfamiliar country. They were kind, knowledgeable, flexible and so personable! They felt like part of our group! If we could give them more than 5 stars, we would without hesitation. We cannot thank them enough for a day of absolutely UNFORGETTABLE memories!! Thank you Dean & Shane!!!!

Everything about this trip was as promised. We were picked up at Heathrow by Calvin who made us feel welcome from the first sentence. Our hotel stays were lovely and without any issues. The food at all of them was delicious.

Our driver Mark quickly rose to the challenge after asking what we wanted from our tour. Our intention was to visit the towns and churches that some of Reese's ancestors were a part of and to access any information available regarding these people who lived in the late 1500's to 1640. Mark made it his business to locate the churches and offices which might provide us with such information.

We appreciated the ability to change some of the itinerary with Mark as needed and discovered additional places in Ipswich related to Reese's history and where he could access information from back in the States via the internet.

Mark also chose some delightful routes to travel and experience. We saw the real England away from London thanks to his choices. Flatford Mill was a pure delight to see and one of the highlights of the trip.

All of the tours were of interest to us and we learned much from having experienced them. In retrospect, we probably tried to do too much but I would not change a thing about the trip except to schedule mid-day meals a little better.

Our communication with Laura at Private Tours was plentiful and friendly. It was a big plus for us to not have to navigate directions, decide on hotels, or buy tickets. We were met every morning promptly and taken to our hotel when it was deemed by us that the day touring was complete. The only thing we had to decide was our evening plans. Wifi in the car was a very nice perk. The team of Laura, Sandie, Calvin and Mark made all the difference.

We would definitely use this tour company again and are recommending it to friends and family.

We had a great tour with Peter all over Wales for 8 days. He took us anywhere we wanted to go and was an excellent historian. He was always timely and driving was great. His passion for history made the tour both educational and enjoyable.

We were so fortunate to have had a fascinating tour led by a great and deeply knowledgeable guide/driver. The level or organization and itinerary were ideal. We had great weather, food and valuable time with our compassionate guide.
