I bought a bar and plates last year and I’ve just received my powercage and I love it! It’s really well made, really heavy duty doesn’t wobble when you re rack your bar. I got mine power coated and the colours are exactly what I wanted!

Recently ordered the Squat Rack upgrade package, along with the new Dip Bar attachments. The goods arrived in a little over a week and has really made a difference to my home workouts. Would highly recommend this package, if you have the space the extra functionality is incredible.

Delivery late. But in all fairness this was probably due to covid. 1.25kg discs damaged on inside (bad casting).

Prices can't be beaten so would happily order again

I ordered an Olympic bar and weight set and only received half my order, still waiting on my Olympic bar!!! It’s been months now at this stage and I’m getting the same response each time

By far the best company I have ever had service from! They were absolutely amazing from start to finish! I was very specific with what I needed for my home gym and literally every question I asked they came straight back with a yes! And sorted everything for me straight away! Thank you so much for my beloved power rack and my weights, they are amazing quality! I wouldn’t shop anywhere else and their bespoke options are just out of this world! So different and like no other gym equipment brand.

Proplates asked me to review my purchases on here. I emailed them this first as it was fair they had the chance to respond, that was 2 weeks ago, so here is my review as I still have not received a response.

I brought the adjustable dumbbells set-

8 x 5kg Plates
4 x 2.5kg Plates
2 x Olympic Dumbbell Bars (7.5kg each)
Total weight: 50kg Plates

The handles themselves weighed exactly 7kgs each! not 7.5kg as advertised, And considering you guys are charging around £6 a kilo, where has that gone, and how many others are you doing this to?

The handles have already begun oxidizing, which is crazy as I've only had them a few weeks none of the other bars I own has, which I've owned for much longer.

The second order of 1.25kgs plates arrived pretty chipped up as they were able to slide around in the box.

I have weighted the plates themselves and they are all very accurate which is why I'm happy to score a solid 3 out of 5.

Great quality and the plates can be designed to meet your personal taste which is really unique! Had to wait slightly longer for my order to arrive but understandable as the gyms were closed and I’d assume they’d be busier during the pandemic. But really pleased with the final result, and would highly recommend Proplates!

Amazing product and amazing service. They are not a scam as someone put! Ive been to the warehouse where they are made and i can assure everyone it is really there and they are really busy completing thousands of orders.
I bought the power cage 127.5 kg set, powder coated and with an additional plate rack. I dont live locally but i chose to collect in person (it all fit in a hatch back) and was blown away by how helpful everyone was...even knowing my name as they were expecting me!
Cannot rate this company enough. At a time when everyone producing gym equipment is going crazy ripping everyone off, proplates are selling great value equipment that is of a great quality.
Highly recommend and worth the trip to collect in person.

Ordered a barbell set. Weights have arrived and look great. I had them coloured red. But no Olympic bar. Weights are pretty useless without a bar. My son in law had a set delivered 4 days before me again no bar. Now I have come on here and I am seeing others are having the same issue. Not the service I expected

I ordered 300kg of calibrated plates, from Pro Plates to go alongside my olympic bumper plates. What can I say........ From start to finish the process was so easy. Messages from the staff and Aleisha, the CEO of the company were answered promptly and nothing was too much trouble to answer any queries you may have. In regards to the quality of the product, the pro calibrated plates are astounding. A little geeky I realise, but they are beautiful to look at. all colour coded to your own wishes before delivery. I would highly recommend this company and the products they produce. A big thank you from Jamie, to all the Pro Plate team. X

Quality product ordered online swift no hassle delivery ‘as it says on the tin’ will use again

Was told it would take 14 days for delivery for my order because it was customised, then that it would take 20 days. Ended up being delivered 79 days after originally ordered. The. I had to take them back because the logo on the plates could be scratched off with a fingernail. They said it was a problem with the colour plate I had ordered and would need to be a different colour. Finally got those 1 week later but the plates aren't smooth on the inside so have scratched the powder coating off the bar, and the logo started coming off after about 2 weeks anyway. Deffinately avoid.

I ordered Proplates as I wanted a specific colour to match my equipment. I knew there was going to be a delay, who doesn't, with Covid, it's understandable... I think I waited just over 3 weeks, I'd accepted I'd have to wait much longer to be honest. They arrived this morning - very pleased with the colours and the look... They are a great addition to my "set". I will definitely use them again in the future.

I placed an order on the 22nd March (7weeks ago) and I'm still awaiting delivery. The lead time for delivery given on the website at the time of order was 3-4weeks and I'm now going on double that. I've emailed 3 times asking for updates with the latest blaming the outsourced powder coating service. Like the previous review I am also starting to wonder if I have been scammed.
A week on from my previous email asking for a delivery date and I've received the exact same generic response word for word from Sheridan blaming the outsourced powder coating service. The customer service is a joke.

Update
Order has finally arrived (definitely not a scam) and although not assembled yet the items look quality as expected. However the additional items are missing from my order such as the attachment package, pulley system and squat ramps. I have emailed requesting information as to whether it is arriving in 2 deliveries or if they have been missed altogether. It is a shame if they have been forgotten given the issues so far but will wait for a response.

Extremely slow to deliver, even though plate availability was the only reason I chose them. When they event did deliver, half of the weight plates were missing and "forgotten when packing". Amateur

UPDATE:
This review was written before seeing an email confirming the items were reshipped. Havent arrived yet as I'm expecting a long delivery time again but the matter was dealt with in a friendly and efficient manner.

Orders a 77.5kg set of weights and bar. I asked for them to be custom colours after placing the order. I got a quick response back from customer services about me wanting to change the order. Good communication back and to allowed me to alter my order and get my weight plates with a customised powder coating.

When I checked with them about the delivery time I was told that they had been busy and it may take another week. I was happy with that as it states on their website that there may be delays. To my surprise the next day I was sent delivery information and the plates arrived later that day and the bar a few days later as it was sent separately to protect it.

I am so happy with the customised camo pattern. It exceeded my expectations. Love the weights set and would definitely recommend Proplates to any one considering buying from them. They have a great quality product and excellent customer service too.
