As a long-time tax professional

As a long-time tax professional, I’m disappointed by the persistent shortcomings in ProConnect and Intuit’s unwillingness to engage with user feedback. The software's diagnostic tools often miss critical issues that directly affect return accuracy, while flagging irrelevant items that add unnecessary noise and confusion.

What’s most frustrating, however, is that Intuit offers no clear path for customers to suggest improvements or report bugs. Even public reviews like this go unanswered. It’s incredibly disheartening to invest in professional software that neither listens to nor supports the professionals who rely on it.

Until Intuit starts treating user feedback as an asset — not a nuisance — I can’t recommend ProConnect.

Scam!!! stay away

Booked a dryer vent cleaning service with them when my home insurance provider offered a discounted rate of $99. The person who came in doesn’t look anything like a professional and immediately after coming asked how long it’s been cleaned for which I answered never without giving much thought into it. Immediately after looking where the dryer and outside vent is he said it would be $50 extra because the $99 deal covers only up to 10 ft. And $50 extra for deep cleaning as it was never cleaned and probably has a lot of lint accumulated in the vent. The pictures he showed proved otherwise but he insisted he cannot leave it uncleaned when I asked him to do just the regular cleaning after looking at the pictures he took. He then offered to do the deep cleaning for $25 which was the first red flag. After going back and forth between the outside vent and the dryer outlet for about 30 minutes he called it done and I was amused to see the amount of lint he collected after saying all this. It was only a handful and when I asked about it he said he pushed the rest through the outside vent which the wind blew away😏. And came the final bill and it’s still$164 on top the $99 I initially signed up for. When asked he says he wrongly calculated and the vent is 22 ft. I asked him to measure and show it to me. He then said something in lines of I have no time to argue and revised it to the original amount he agreed for. Would never call anyone through front door pro based on my experience after this scam

This company is a shit show

Beware!

Washer was not working properly. Called Front Door and they sent out technician Don who damaged my washer display while repairing and then disappeared leaving me with a damaged appliance. Tried to reach out to front door to fix the issue and they basically told me it wasn’t their problem and talk to the technician who obviously is dishonest and is not going to take responsibility either. No accountability. Awful company.

Took my money and did not do the job

Took my money and did not do the job. Had me buy the part for my dryer, pay the diagnostic fee, and after two months of me chasing them the pro told me he has the part but can’t do the work because they never paid him. Called them and they said “it’s past the 30 days” what 30 days? It’s basic stealing. They took my money and never gave me the service.

Exceedingly bad

Exceedingly bad. Spending many weeks trying to track them down to do the job. No follow ups, very poor service, the plumber isn't capable of doing the job. Giant hole in our front yard and no end in sight. If you really want to complicate your life on many levels, work with Front Door.

Frontdoor forced me into a monetary penalty

When I contacted Frontdoor several weeks in advance, they refused to let me schedule an appointment despite an upcoming monetary penalty from my insurance until I could show them photos of my new property -- which was impossible because we had yet to close. There is a one-week gap between closing and the penalty. Frontdoor assured me they could accommodate this and refused to schedule me. Upon calling them right as closing was complete, Frontdoor now has a 2-week waiting period and not much sympathy from the representative. They didn't even want the photos! The lesson is to lie so that things actually happen when they should happen.

Upselling before installing (Insurance required) Moen shut off valve.

I had plumbers come to install the Moen shut-off valve. They tried to charge me $900 more and said the shut-off valve and pressure regulator I had just replaced had to be replaced. Both the valve and regulator were a couple of weeks old. He said he would not warranty having to re-solder something... Essentially, they are trying to force me into paying to replace something that did not need to be. It was an upsell and, from other reviews, seems to be common practice for the Moen shut-off valve installers.

Customer care provides false information for services. when asked to provide proof of recordings, they declined. This company is a scamming customers.

Please report bad experiences to the BBB to stop companies like these

i work for property company

i work for property company, few client have to install the meon meter for famers insurance.frontdoor pro send a plumbing company scam my client 900$ to install a tank which he don't really need that. And 3 of my client frontdoor pro mail the wrong size meter so they have to return it and wait for right size feel like this company is total trash.

Don't trust AHS or Frontdoor

Don't trust AHS or Frontdoor! They will gladly take your money, but good luck getting anything expensive repaired or replaced. They don't use the same contractors that you probably would call.

No Show For Appointment…Calls and says can't come until next week

I scheduled an appointment with Front Door Pro to clean my dryer vent. They confirmed the appointment the day before. During my appointment time the day of, they tell me that they have 3 pros in the area and none of them are able to come to me until a week later. I took off work to be at home for this appointment slot and all I got was a not very heartfelt "sorry for the inconvenience". I only used them because AHS recommended them- but I won't make that mistake again.

Horrible...sent out a tech who told me…

Horrible...sent out a tech who told me my control board was bad in a GE dishwasher, quoted over 400 dollars to get and replace part, suggested I just buy a new dishwasher....I ordered part online for less than 100 and replaced myself in less than 10 minutes....I still have same issue , they will not refund diagnostic fee, only agree to send out another tech...I have made 3 separate attempts to schedule tech, only to get a call that my appointment has been pushed back 2-4 hours...do not use them, they are a ripoff!!!

Waste of 100.00

Technician came out to look at our stove within 2 days of scheduling. He ordered parts, but hasn’t come back in over a month, in spite of repeated calls to Front Door. Front Door’s customer service wasn’t bad. They repeatedly contacted, or tried to contact the technician, but he put them off, saying he had the parts and would be over to fix it after the holidays. I told FD they should fire him. We’re going to contest the 99.00 fee on our credit card bill.

Cancelled appointments, never did the work

At the insistence of our insurance company, we purchased a Moen Flo water shutoff device. Installation through Frontdoor was included in the purchase price. Frontdoor scheduled the installation, but then cancelled. We rescheduled to a date they requested, cutting short our Thanksgiving holiday, only to have them cancel again. They then told us they would be unable to do the service because they "couldn't find a pro" in our area. They then claimed they MIGHT be able to find someone to do the work if we gave them seven working days. That was almost a month ago. We ended up having to pay for the installation out of pocket and are trying to get reimbursement from Moen. Throughout, their communications were defensive at best and accusatory at times (they accused US of cancelling the appointments). They clearly contracted with Moen to do work which they are unable or unwilling to provide. Avoid them at all costs and do not buy the Moen Flo with the "package" installation deal.

The repair man showed up and took our money

The repair man showed up. He did not attempt to fix the problem. He told us he had to replace the entire pare without even opening the range top. He charged us $196.00 and I can’t get him on the phone almost 3 weeks later.

Be careful here.

Horrible Service -Zero Stars!!

I wish you could give zero starts because that is what I would choose. Save yourself a lot of time and money and call someone else. Mr. Appliance is excellent. After Frontdoor came out to fix our whirlpool refrigerator we were told they had to order the part (from Amazon) and would contact us when it came in. I called several days and the rude customer service person could never tell me when the part would arrive and just continually said she would send a message to the technician and call us when the part came in. Did they call? No. Never. Horrible customer service and follow through. Zero stars!!

This is parent Company of American Home…

This is parent Company of American Home Shield.
AHS did not clear the drain. AHS sent someone that had a 1.7 star who was not qualified to clear a simple drain stoppage.
I reported that the technical did not clear the drain. AHS posted on their website they were working on an estimate.
They did not and my calls and emails were ignored. Now AHS website claims it has completed the service but it hasn't.

Worst customer service ever. Can't even be trusted to clear a drain.

Not even worth one star!!!!

Not even worth one star!!!!! Called out frontdoor pro for leaking washer… i was charged almost $400 for him to cut off a hose and to look at the dryer and vacuum it out. After the repair man left we washed a load of clothes and the leak flooded by laundry room. Called them again and same guy came back out and said the hose came loose. Tried washing again and it’s still leaking. The dryer isn't drying clothes either and he vacuumed it out and still not working. Will never use them again!!!
