I first attended the in-person course in London and have now completed the certification online as well. The course is very well-structured and provides a clear understanding of what Product Marketing is all about. It effectively covers the key skills, competencies, and knowledge required to excel in the field.

I recently completed the Product-Led Growth (PLG) course from PMA Alliance. Overall, I found the course useful and well-structured, especially in terms of introducing key frameworks and concepts around PLG, activation, retention, and experimentation.
The frameworks provided are valuable and give a good foundation. However, I sometimes found it difficult to understand how to apply these frameworks in real-life situations. I was expecting more practical, hands-on learning.
For example, it would be very helpful to have real-world case studies where you are given a problem and asked to solve it. Things like deciding which metrics to use, how to form a hypothesis, or how to approach an experiment are not always easy to understand just by watching videos.
In a previous UX course I took (from Udacity), we had assignments that were reviewed by real people. That made a big difference because I had to actively apply what I learned, get feedback, and improve. I think something similar would make this course much stronger.
Also, some of the videos felt a bit outdated. It would be great to have more up-to-date content, especially in a fast-changing field like product growth.
Overall, I think the course is a good introduction to PLG concepts, but it could be improved with more practical exercises and real-world application.
I would recommend it as a starting point, but with the expectation that you will need additional hands-on practice to fully understand how to use these frameworks.

I recently completed the Product Marketing Alliance Product Marketing Certified: Advanced course and found it to be very comprehensive and well structured. It covers both strategic and practical aspects of PMM in depth, with frameworks and examples that are genuinely useful in real-world roles. It’s also great to see an organization like PMA actively spreading product marketing culture and giving the discipline proper recognition across the industry. The only downside is that it’s on the expensive side, which may be a barrier for some, but the quality of the content and the certification itself still make it a strong investment.

Great content that translates real-world field experience into clear, actionable, and repeatable plans and initiatives that can be scaled to strengthen Product Marketing across an organization.

In general, great event. Love the array of topics, but also would like to have more small group workshops/discussions. But overall, enjoying it and feeling the value!

The Brand Marketing Master course transformed how I think about Brand vs. Product Marketing. The frameworks, case studies, and exercises made everything finally click — especially the parts that filled in gaps I had around how successful brands are built, validated, and measured. I now know exactly how to build a successful brand and connect product messaging to brand strategy in a way that resonates with customers. Definitely worth it.

PMA is the leading resource for PMMs. They've really built a strong reputation and partnerships with leaders across services and product orgs. I've taken some of their certifications - some are better than others - but overall I really like their articles and presentations they share around certain topics like how to build an AR program from scratch and how to grow your PMM team, to name a few. Highly recommend getting a membership for at least a year and really digging into what they have to offer.
