The Product Marketing Scholar Program exceeded my expectations.
The curriculum is thoughtfully designed and balances strategic theory with hands-on execution. I found the frameworks, templates, and real-world case studies especially valuable—they helped me immediately apply what I learned to my day-to-day work. Weekly workshops, expert insights, and a strong peer community made the experience engaging and actionable.
PMA has done an excellent job building a program that truly empowers product marketers to lead with confidence and clarity. I’d highly recommend it to any PMM looking to level up their skills and impact.

If I could give a Zero I would. What HORRIBLE customer services and subscription management practices. I've been paying for 3+ years and not using the service to my full advantage - that's on me. The day after my service auto-renewed, I called and said I don't use the service, they would know that by my login tracking and that I really could not afford this additional expense. They essentially said so sad, too bad, we don't care. Sadly they must be so desperate for money that they have to keep their cancelation policies locked down. EVEN WORSE, when I went in to cancel my subscription so that it would not auto renew, it said, "If you cancel now, you will lose access to the entire site immediately. WHAT THE HECK, but I've paid for the year and want to cancel now so they don't catch me in another "Crap I forget moment" but NOPE cancel now, lose access. There are so many other software vendors that have good customer service and integrity that if you cancel the renewal you still have access to the platform for the duration of your prepaid service. Shame on you Product Marketing Alliance. You are a sad organization.
The course is well structured, detailed, and engaging. Each chapter is well thought-through, relatable, and interesting in terms of presentation. Great job by the presenters and course designers.
However, some chapters are too long which diminishes their impact. The fireside chats are long winding and do not carry time stamps, which leads to loss of focus and interest.

I predominantly work in technical pre-sales and found myself taking on more marketing activities, and working alongside a demand gen agency. I enrolled on the PMA's Product Marketing Core to help me perform that role better but have finished wanting to completely overhaul our messaging, positioning, go to market, and sales enablement process. I've found the format of taught sections supplemented by real-world insights incredibly useful (do checkout the podcast, too!). I've appreciated the flexibility of being able to fit remote learning around my schedule and customer commitments. Hopefully this is the just the start of my journey into product marketing with the PMA.

One of the aspects I really appreciated about the Product Marketing Manager course was the inclusion of video interviews with real marketers sharing their firsthand experiences. Hearing about their real-world challenges, strategies, and successes added a layer of authenticity and practical insight that textbooks or theory-based lessons often lack. It was helpful to see how marketing professionals apply concepts in actual workplace scenarios.
However, despite being labeled as an "advanced" course, I found that it only partially lives up to that claim. While some modules provided useful frameworks and industry insights, much of the content felt quite shallow and generic. Many topics were covered at a surface level without going into enough depth to truly challenge experienced professionals.
Another major drawback was the lack of extensive hands-on practice. The course would have been significantly more valuable if it included more interactive elements, such as case studies, real-world projects, or simulations. While there were some exercises, they were quite limited in scope, and I would have liked to see more structured opportunities for peer review and feedback. Engaging with other learners and receiving constructive criticism would have helped reinforce key concepts and improve practical skills.
Overall, while the course is a decent introductory or intermediate-level resource, it may not be the best fit for seasoned product marketers looking for truly advanced strategies. If you’re seeking in-depth practice, hands-on projects, and peer collaboration, you might find this course lacking in those areas. I would recommend my colleagues to find an alternative course to grow their expertise.
PMA is the beacon in driving the skills and expertise required by product marketers like me who want to accelerate in their careers in the field of product marketing. Programs are comprehensive & cover almost everything on earth to be a successful product marketer.

PMA charged me for 4 years of subscription without my consent or knowledge, and they refuse to cancel the account or provide any refund. They sent no auto renewal notices and have provided no way for me to manage or cancel auto renewal. Do not give PMA your card info.
The Product Marketing Alliance Core Class was an incredible learning experience. I gained a deep understanding of the foundational principles of product marketing, and the content was not only highly informative but also practical and easy to digest. The resources and frameworks provided were outstanding—clear, actionable, and directly applicable to real-world scenarios. I feel more confident in my skills and am excited to apply what I’ve learned to grow in my career. Highly recommend it to anyone looking to level up in product marketing!

I recently completed a course by PMA, and I have to say, I am very disappointed. The training was extremely dull... the presenter was just reading off a screen in a monotone voice and looked a bit stunned. This made it hard to even complete the course. For example the presenter would read out 'i.e.'.
The slides weren't much better. A lot of them didn’t have clear headings and were just filled with long, rambling bullet points, so it was tough to pick out the main points.
I'd only recommend the course if you want a certificate for job pivoting - but be prepared to be bored stiff. I've found free courses from organisations like SEMRush, even though they cover more general digital marketing, a lot more engaging.
The price of the course is steep for what you get (if you can actually finish the training). The document templates are the only good thing about the course.
I am extremely disappointed with the way PMA has handled my subscription. They charged my credit card for another year of a program I never used without giving me a fair chance to cancel. I signed up initially but quickly realized I didn’t need it and didn’t proceed with the program. Despite this, they went ahead and charged me again without my consent or even a proper warning.
They claim to have sent email reminders, but this is blatantly false - there were no reminders sent. What makes this worse is that their system clearly shows I barely engaged with the program in the first year, yet they still proceeded to renew without allowing me to opt-out. This feels like an exploitative practice, taking money without accountability or consideration for the customer’s experience.
When I contacted them to explain and request a refund, they refused to credit back the charge. This refusal shows a complete disregard for customer fairness and trust. Why would you charge someone for a service they clearly didn’t use and have no intention of continuing?
This situation has left me feeling deceived and unheard. If this isn’t resolved immediately, I will be escalating this to consumer protection authorities.
PMA has a large swathe of content and courses that cover every aspect of the product marketing role. The nature of Product Marketing is such that there is a huge breadth in required knowledge and skills so it's impressive that they've covered all major aspects to a depth. The courses themselves are great to follow and a very easy to follow through.

The course materials are well structured and concise. More importantly, I found the comment section to be a really good resource as other peers in the program ask very practical, scenario based questions which I learned a great deal from. The bonus videos were very informative as well and could hardly be considered as "extra".

I found the PMA Core class provided a fantastic base of knowledge around product marketing principles. I've been working to implement them in my day job and look forward to exploring more advanced courses in the future.
