They will get your hopes up and kick you in the teeth.

I was called by a lovely agent because I wanted to have life insurance. Not sure how I ended up in their system.

I have been going through a lot of stress due to inefficient companies who are controlled by classic management that should not exist any more. Same companies that were putting me on garden leave and telling me that I am the problem but crashing afterwards making people losing their security.

Now I wanted a fresh start and finally feel good about completing a task that would have reduced my stress level. The 10 minutes call ended up taking 50 minutes where they were leading me into traps to collect a lot of information and reject my request based on some decision that was made while ignoring that I AM A HUMAN BEING. I don't fit into a box of labels and conditions.

I am a living organism.

How can you expect anyone to be sane if you only think of greedy data collection and profit earned by destroying the ones who need the help the most.

Remove every bits about me from your systems or pay me to help you fix it as this is my expertise but this has to be stopped! You are torturing people to find sheeps and monkeys.

The time I have lost here is I never get back!

I'll rate my experience of them…

I'm still clever enough to remember that I never expressed ANY kind of interest in your company. One thing I will say, though, if someone else has been phoning you up on my behalf, please have a word with them, and tell that person that I have no interest in this kind of thing. Phone that particular person back, as they aren't anyone to decide my life for me. Only I know what I prefer. I've never even mentioned to anyone about this sort of thing, so if anyone HAS been phoning your company up, and telling you that I'm interested, the person/people doing this is lying to you. Sorry to say, but yeah. Even if it's a charity care organisation that has phoned you on my behalf, it doesn't mean that they should be getting away with this. Charities aren't as official as proper care companies. IF this is the case, they have no business even trying to do this anyway. I have my suspicions. Please can you delete my phone number from your database? I will follow this up with my social worker, just so that she can keep an eye on things for me. I'm always very particular about my savings, but for good reason.

Avoid at all cost.

I took out a over 50s policy, with this company, some time ago. In addition to having other policies with another company. I now note, that unlike the policies with the other company. Where my monthly premiums, have stayed the same. The premium that I was paying previously, has increased. If I had been made aware at the outset, of these premium increases. I would have taken another policy out. With the company who, I have my other policies with. As advised by the company. I contacted Promis Life and, was told by the customer service adviser. That someone would contact me, within 5 days. It is now in excess of this timeframe given and, still not received a explanation of the issue. I will now put this issue, in the hands of the FCA.

Dear David, we offer customers the choice of two types of policy. One where the premiums stay the same throughout and one where they start off cheaper and then increase over time. The information on how each policy works is available on our website and within the documentation you would have received from us. I would suggest calling us on 0800 907 0796 and speaking with one of our team who will be happy to help. Regards, Tom

Daily annoying calls!

I got a quote online just to see how much it would be but have then received daily, sometimes 2 or 3 times a day calls. I’ve blocked the number but still getting voicemails. Very annoying. Not interested. Please stop calling!

I took at a policy under the impression it was with IPTIQ. Have been paying by direct debit since and never had any paperwork. Have phoned twice recently to request the paperwork and policy number for what I am paying for, in case something happens. I am becoming suspicious now, I have no paperwork still, but direct debit still goes out monthly.

Just have received a letter through the post with wrong spelling on last name with plan number saying they are cancelling my plan ! I don’t actually know what the hell this company is so googled ! Dear Liah, please can you call the telephone number on the letter you received so we can understand what has happened. Please rest assured this isn't a 'trap' or a 'scam' but without seeing the specific letter it seems somebody has set a policy up (perhaps on your behalf?) but I would recommend calling the number with the policy number quoted and we'll get to the bottom of it for you. I'm not even 50 yet 😳

I have been called by Promis Life quite a few times, I was told by the operator a few weeks ago when I answered
"hello, we are returning your call as you asked us to ring you back last week when we called you" 😲
I never did such a thing.. I have not spoke to them before that phone call, now they just ring me but I have intercepted the call.. Please stop, I don't wish to have life insurance, I'm not even 50 yet and I will find my own insurer thankyou!

Dear Michael, we only call people who have expressed an interest in our life insurance products. I had a look at your record and it seems somebody completed an online form with your details on the 22/02/22. According to our records we haven't contacted you '18 times'. Perhaps somebody else has been trying to get hold of you as well? We've put a stop to anymore attempts to your number. Regards, Tom

Hides behind general quote invite

I responded to a life insurance ad. Had I realised it was Promis life I wouldn't have bothered. Bad trustpilot reviews. I want to keep well clear. I get numerous hourly calls. Please stop. Number ends 5348. Are you covered by the FCA? Next step will be to contact the financial ombudsman to get these nuisance call stopped.

You're blocked - stop calling !

Since 21 Nov 2021 my phone has auto rejected 27 calls (I have blocked your number) and I'm sure it will be rejecting a lot more.
Anyone with half a brain would realise that their calls are not welcome or do you think calling up to 5 times in one day will get you results ?
Tom you and your rotten company are just a nuisance and hopefully Promis Life will soon be out of business because no one wants to deal with such a disreputable shower.

Dear Mr Franklin, sorry you feel that way about our adverts. I don't think though the ads state that Debbie's family will have to find funds to pay for a funeral. Our concern is with those that might not have the money as a lump sum available when the time comes. Our insurance products guarantee our customers' loved ones will have their money in their bank account within 2 working days of receiving completed paperwork. We are actually the only company to guarantee that which we hope brings some peace of mind to our customers - that's the message we use Debbie to convey. Thanks for taking the time out to leave a comment though. Regards, Tom

Absolutely detest the advert with the condescending old biddy who judges everyone. I have seen it 3 times in the space of a couple of hours...seriously lady if it only costs you a cup of coffee then get to it. Do not be condescending to those who may not even be able to afford that.

This is a review of your ad. I will not touch your company because of that. It is so bad. Reading through the reviews here I am glad I decided not to. It seems your company is as bad as that advert.

Edit:

Instead of looking at your FEEFO review why not take the feedback in this page seriously? Instead of giving tin can responses to everyone. Your ad is outdated and it makes you look outdated. But I suspect you standard "we are a nation that does not talk about death" is pretty much stock standard. Bad ad and by the looks of these reviews I will not be touching you guys. Good luck with the canned responses ;p

Dear Liz, thanks for taking time out of your day to send us this constructive review of the TV ad. I am sorry you don't like it. I never really enjoyed the John Lewis Christmas TV ads but millions did so I guess you can't please all of the people all of the time. Although that said we do try and ensure our customers are happy and we are very proud of our 4.8 out of 5 Feefo customer satisfaction rating. This is based on nearly 3000 actual customer reviews. Dear Mrs Lloyd. Those call times with the days of week you list don't look correct in respect of you getting calls from just us. To understand what has happened I would suggest calling us on 0800 907 0796 and we'll be happy to look into it for you from our side. Or if you are called again answer and tell them to stop calling. I can look into it for you but would need your telephone number which i wouldn't suggest putting up in a public forum. Regards, Tom

They are cold calling me numerous times a day. I have never heard of them or supplied them with any information whatsoever, so no idea how they got my number. If they think people will eventually give in then they must be scammers. No doubt they will say they have checked their records and found i had filled in a form blah blah blah and it will be a lie. I have categorically never filled in anything for them. They are 100% cold calling me.

Dear Stephen, We have had a look in our database and can't see anyone that matches your name and who we are trying to contact in regards a life insurance quote. So i can only assume somebody has used your telephone number on an online form that we have then been calling in good faith to speak to somebody who has made an enquiry. I think the best course of action is to call us on 0800 907 0796 and we can use your telephone number and search to see who/when and also put a stop to any calls to your number. And finally, just to reassure you; we never cold call anybody. We only respond in good faith to people who have made an enquiry in regards to one of our products. Regards, Tom

I have called several times now the 19th of October and been told that i should receive it by the beginning of November, but received nothing, called again 12th of November still nothing so called today the 19th November and they said they would contact the promotional team which is what they had said before. They keep on saying the same thing. It’s a principal thing now as many other companies are doing the same promotion so maybe i will have to look elsewhere.
