$1000+ order placed 3/20/2019, payment was made by eCheck which cleared my bank weeks ago, they said it was shipped on 3/26/2019 but USPS tracking # indicates it never was shipped, I have made 2 phone calls and several emails, now they are not responding and appear to be ignoring my request to refund my money. I will be filing reports with BBB, Dallas Police Department and the Federal Trade Commission if I don't have my refund by April 19, 2019.

This company is one of the worst I have ever dealt with. They overgrade their items and overprice what they sell. My $5 Indian Head gold coin was sent in for grading and slabbing. It came back from NGC as the lowest grade possible and with the gold color as brown. The kiss of death for a gold coin. A total waste of time and money on my part. NEVER buy a raw coin from them. I would suggest you stick with somebody like APMEX that is a much better place. I will never order from them again. If you do, you'll most likely lose money.

I made a small order and was provided with an estimated ship time of 1 - 3 days. After 5 days I emailed customer service but did not receive a reply. After three more days I called and was told the warehouse was "running slow" but my order would be bumped up and shipped within "a day or two". Which means I probably won't get it in time for the Christmas gifts it was intended to be. And I ordered with nearly three weeks of lead time. It's three items guys, not hard to pick and pack.

Will not shop here again. Other metals providers have billed and shipped within two days, not two weeks.

Nearly a hundred orders & never, not a single issue with any aspect of my doing business here. Absolutely the highest rating I could give I do. It couldn't be easier or more of a simple straight forward process. My collection, I've been told is "way cool" & is, in part due to Provident Metals. See you again PM......

I have been very happy with Provident - the timing, well packed products, quality as expected, ease of ordering, and low prices. Shipping time is as expected for cash payment - 3 days free shipping. Products never get boring - always something new available. Love the latest 90% dimes low price. Definitely lowest price I've seen. I buy 2 to 4 times a month and spend much more than the free shipping minimum.
I recommend buyers always read the policies, payments, and shipping times. I found the information clear as well as the result. Provident has lived up to my expectations and I am pleased to do business with them.

Not real impressed with the customer service at Provident. I have placed several orders with Provident in the past, without a lengthy wait to receive my product. I placed an order on 9/2 and received payment confirmation within the hour. I realize this was a Sunday with Monday being a holiday, so I was not expecting miracles. I used an immediate form of payment so I would not have to wait for a check to clear. It has now been 8 days total, 5 business days, and my order still reads "Payment Confirmed”. I called and spoke with a representative on Friday, 9/7, and was told that they were extremely busy due to the holiday. Really? Conversely, I placed a substantial order with J.M. Bullion on 9/4 and had it in my hand on Friday, 9/7. I just placed another substantial order with J.M. and will have no choice but to make them my first pick moving forward. Shame because the prices at Provident are very fair. I guess you get what you pay for.

My first order ($2000.00) with Provident Metals was poor. I ordered in the morning and received payment confirmation within an hour. I used a CC since I'd not done business with them before. After 4.5 business days, my order still showed "Payment Confirmation" in my history. I sent an email with no response. I phoned and was told by a CSR that due to market price fluctuations, my order was delayed. This made no sense because the items I ordered were "In Stock and Ready to Ship". The price was locked in at checkout. She responded that she meant they were extra busy but that she placed a rush on my order and it would ship soon. Soon, she could not define. I asked her to cancel my order and that I would do business elsewhere. I had ordered from APMEX, JM Bullion and Money Metals Exchange AFTER this order and had received those orders within 4 business days. I am now awaiting my refund which I was told would be processed today. If not, I will file a chargeback with my CC and file a formal complaint with BBB.

I placed an order for some silver and I even took the small lump hit and used a Credit Card just so that I can avoid going to the bank, get a money order, stand in line at the Snail Mail shop to send it in, wait a couple of days for them to get the letter, process it and await clearance all for nothing.
My order is still on "confirmed payment" and no changes as of 3 business days. This is not how you do business,and you should change your name to ProviDON'T, because you guys don't care. 1st and LAST time I buy from them. I have never had a problem When buying from JM Bullion or even APMEX. Those guys had a shipping tracking number on the ready the next day on received payment status.

This is my first time buying from provident metals. I placed my order 10 days ago and they still have not even picked my order or got it ready to ship. I contacted them and asked for my money back they just told me to hold on that my order would come " some time soon" I am starting to think they just took my money and have no intention of shipping me any thing. If this is your first time here PLEASE GO TO SOME OTHER SITE ANY OTHER SITE. This place is a SCAM. They will not give your money back or ship you your order in a reasonable time frame.

I have been purchased from Provident Metals for last 6 years and never have any problem. Last order from Provident was very disappointed. One of Austria Philharmonic has burnt mark on the edge. I emailed customer service (Melissa). She wants me send back the coin at my cost for refund. She refund to issue a call tag. I will cost me $3.50 plus 30 minutes stand at USPS. I showed the purchased history I purchased at least $15K for last 6 years and didn"t care either.

I have been dealing with Provident for about 8 months now and I cannot stress enough how they have been fabulous to deal with. I have only called them 1 time, not for a problem but a pretty mundane question. Their customer service was absolutely top notch. It was almost like talking to your best friend. As for their order completion and delivery, you just couldn't ask for better. I would recommend that you consider paying by check or bank draft to get the best discount. It's not huge but 4% adds up quick. Its $40 per $1000.

You know...there are ok companies out here, and then there's Provident Metals. Excellent customer service, excellent navigation through site, excellent delivery times, excellent inventory. Excellence. This company strive for excellence. Absolutely loving the new look...even feels nicer. The marketing team...excellent! I can keep going but you guys get the point.

I used to buy from brick and mortar until I found out about provident. I have never had a problem and have always been very happy with my metals. I love this company

100oz Engelhard arrived today. Pretty rough shape, however, I realize it wasn't a new bar so totally not too surprised.
