Great place to buy tech with peace of mind

I’ve bought a few used tech items from CeX in Australia, including a phone and some games, and every experience has been spot on. Everything worked perfectly and felt well tested before sale. The 5-year warranty really sets them apart and gives a lot of confidence when buying second-hand. Staff were friendly and knew their stuff, which made the whole process easy and stress-free.

Gaming blurays not checked for scratches or cleaning

The used games (at least the ones i buy online) are not verified for the actual condition. I got a game online and it arrived full of oily fingerprints on the reading part of the bluray. Could be easily cleaned by the staff, but they didn't care, which is worrying, because instead of fingerprints, could be full of scratches.

Despatch and delivery were pretty fast

Despatch and delivery were pretty fast. The system used by company delivering from Spain did not function as required at meant that it was not clear when and where the item would be delivered (originally it was suggested that delivery would be to a local drop point), but it was delivered to my home adress, one working day later than originally predicted.

Product depiction

Product was fine, slightly damaged as I expected of a use figure, I just think that on the website you should use images of the actual produc, showing its condition and not a picture of a brand new figure.

I am keeping touch with support and…

I am keeping touch with support and still waiting for my parcel. They can’t say when I am getting my delivery! How ridiculous the service. I am really upset for their worse services.

If they can’t provide a good service so why they are here? Are they to make difficulties?

Bad experience on online purchase and customer service.

I bought a PS5 video game online by using my CEX account, where my personal data is registered. Well, after waiting some business days to receive the order at home, I get notified by the CEX’s courier that my parcel had arrived to destination, the only issue was that the item arrived to another destination, an address located in Montijo, but I live in Lisboa, come on guys, seriously!. I reached out CEX customer service by filling the online form to let them know about the issue but I am still waiting their solution. I made a call to the courier as well and they assured me the parcel was delivered to the address indicated by CEX. According to the receipt of my purchase my address is totally right, so please I require that CEX finds a solution asap by sending me the order to my actual address or processing a refund. Thanks.

A quite dreadful service.

A quite dreadful service.
Apparently the parcel was returned to sender.
The courier did not contact me regarding a simple delivery issue which never materialized for reasons unknown.
Quite pathetic !!!
