They were thorough in checking our packing and ensured everything was transported to our new home in great condition.

I chose PTL after being misled over price by Anyvan. We are so glad we did as Lee and Carl were fantastic from start to finish. They turned up on time and had the contents of our 3 bedroom house moved, unpacked and reassembled 30 miles away before 5pm. They were professional, efficient and a pleasure to deal with. Lee was able to rearrange our move at the last minute when our completion got delayed. We really appreciated the flexibility. Lee and Carl worked really hard and were able to be flexible on the day to move extra things. They assembled the furniture well and took care when moving our stuff, including our piano. We would definitely use them again.

Great experience. From start to finish,
consummate professionals. Lee and Carl arrived right on time. We were initially worried about the size of the van. Lee just smiled and said "don't worry". How they fitted all our belongings into the van I do not know, and I watched them. Everything that wasn't already packed in a box or bag - dressers, mattresses, couches 6 seater table
etc - was carefully packed and covered (even stripped down if necessary) and transported without a hitch. At our new property everything was put back together in hardly any time at all. Always asking and double checking where all the furniture went, nothing seemed like too much trouble for these guys.

I can’t recommend PTL removals highly enough. They provided a very professional, friendly and thorough service from the moment I enquired to the second they left. Their communication was excellent and I can’t fault a single thing.
And I’m still shocked at how fantastic Lee packed the van, they were so careful with all our belongings and they even wrapped the mattress!
I personally would not consider any other removal company, excellent price quoted for a very long hard day and they provided exceptional service throughout.
They made a very stressful and hectic day feel calm and much more manageable. Thank you Lee and team x

We hired PTL for a house move this month. Lee and his team were efficient the entire time, from giving the quote to our questions over email.
Lee and Carl did a great job packing up and dismantling all our things and got everything finished by the time promised. When our things came out of storage a week later, everything was unloaded efficiently, and nothing was missing or damaged.

Lee and the team moved our household belongings with great care, efficiency and to schedule over two days. They were courteous, helpful and packed all items well. Good to see a close-nit team with complementary skills working well together.

We booked a pack and move with PTL Removals for our household furniture and goods from Preston and delivered them to our new home in Manchester. As our new property was not going to be ready immediately, they also provided storage while we were waiting for the new property to be ready.
The team came the day before the move to pack and then subsequently delivered the goods were very friendly and clearly were experienced as they handled the work efficiently. They arrived on time when they said they would and moved the items with great care, always asking for guidance on the preferred location for the furniture. Nothing seemed to be to much trouble for them. We even had a big heavy piano which they moved with great ease. The team in the office kept us informed on the delivery plans and when to expect the team to arrive, as well as arranging for boxes to be delivered for some self packing. When we were done with unpacking, we just let them know and they came to collect the materials. We are also very happy with the packing service, everything was packed with care. An overall great service and we would highly recommend them to others seeking a removal service.

Despite initial positive impressions prior to our house move last April, this company did not live up to expectations and caused us a lot of stress; e.g.,
- It misjudged the size and timescale of our house move which involved several trips in Luton vans to and from their warehouse over 3 days, (despite promising a large truck), a chaotic final moving out morning, and garage items having to be left in a rush in our neighbour’s garden until Lee and Carl could go back to collect.
- Unfortunately, due to conveyancing problems with our move, our belongings had to go into storage for 7 months. Some of our soft furnishings which hadn't been wrapped, and some clothing and bedding, etc,. which were packed by them in their boxes, arrived stained, damp and mouldy.
- Some items were damaged and broken, and two items were missing, but we couldn’t get a satisfactory response from Lee about these issues (who had been so prompt to answer his mobile phone/return calls prior to our move).
We tried ringing all the “local representatives” as listed on PTL Removals website with no answers from any of them. We could not find any “office” telephone number and were advised to send an email marked “urgent” in order to get a response.
- We had paid an extra £500 for a full packing service as we were told this would ensure that our belongings were fully insured, but we were concerned when our subsequent requests for insurance claim forms went unanswered.
- Thankfully, Bella replied to our emails and agreed to refund the small amount we requested to cover our basic costs to repair and/or replace items, and also to refund an overpaid week’s charge for storage costs. We are also grateful for her apology and sympathise with the reason for the delay.
- However, we are still waiting to hear back about the delivery of our missing step ladders, or for the address of their warehouse so that we can collect ourselves.
