Extreme Bias, Collusion, and Appalling Communication

I strongly advise caution when dealing with Pullen Estate Agents. My experience with Tom Pullen was not good. There were documented professional irregularities and a complete failure to remain neutral in a multi-party property sale.

Potential clients should be aware of:

• LACK OF COMMUNICATION: From the very beginning, the agents have only communicated with me on very rare occasions. Bizarrely, the property has been abruptly removed from the market without my knowledge or consent. Meanwhile, they hold undisclosed discussions with the other parties and facilitate unannounced visits to my home, completely bypassing me as a 25% legal co-owner.

• RETALIATORY BEHAVIOUR: When I dare to complain about being excluded and kept in the dark, the agents respond by complaining about my behaviour—punishing me for simply asking to be kept informed.

• DOCUMENTED DISCREPANCIES: Tom Pullen provided call logs claiming 23 calls by me over a two day period. Verifiable phone records proved only 8 calls were made by me—a discrepancy of 15 calls. Presumably so that he can then claim that I am phoning too often.

• DECEPTIVE PRACTICES: The agents formally resigned from the process with me, only to secretly write to the other owners shortly afterwards, stating they remained 'fully committed' to the sale.

• IGNORING COMPLAINTS: I sent a detailed 20 plus page formal complaint outlining serious breaches of contract and codes of practice, which they have failed to address.

(There have been numerous cases of harassment by the other parties over the years. Just one example is the disgusting rubbish routinely dumped near my front door and in the front garden. This demonstrates the hostile environment I am facing at the property. It is appalling that the agents are working closely with the very people responsible for this behaviour, while entirely excluding me and ignoring my legitimate complaints).

Unfortunately, various relatives who had lived in the property over the last few years have died. People who could have offered their support to me, and told the truth about what is going on are no longer alive.

If you are looking for an agency that acts with transparency, honesty, and treats all parties equally, look elsewhere.

--- UPDATE: 20 March 2026 ---
In response to my review, Pullen Estate Agents claimed they were "advised by the police to cease direct communication" due to my "behaviour" to "protect their staff." This public statement is categorically false and highly defamatory. I have never engaged in any improper behaviour, nor have the police ever contacted me regarding any allegations from this agency. If Pullens (presumably Tom Pullen) did obtain such advice from the police, it could only be the result of a false and malicious report. Given that they have already produced fabricated call logs claiming I made 15 non-existent calls (as noted above), it is highly probable this falsified evidence was used to manufacture an excuse for excluding a 25% legal co-owner. It is alarming that a business would weaponize false allegations to silence a legitimate consumer warning, especially while they continue to collude with the individuals harassing me.

--- UPDATE: 20 April 2026 ---
A formal complaint has been lodged with the Property Redress Scheme the regulator, which has been provided with independent Vodafone carrier records obtained by subject access request. Those records directly contradict the alleged call-log narrative relied on in Tom Pullen of Pullen Estate Agents’ public response and materially undermine the truth of those remarks.

Unfortunately, as a result of Mr Ali’s behaviour towards members of our team, we were advised by the police to cease direct communication with him. Following that advice, we implemented this step in order to protect our staff.

We completely reject the characterisation of events described in this post.
