The card took ages to arrive in the first place and the prices advertised are not always those charged. Currently received 40 messages with this weeks prices, tried blocking the number but still they come. I haven't tried the customer services but from what I've read they are next to useless.

Pump king.Signed up a couple of weeks ago after…

Signed up a couple of weeks ago after seeing it in the Motorhome and caravan club magazine, First thoughts were, "Well it has to be a half decent company to be in the magazine" how darn wrong it's turning out to be, Card arrived after 10 days, text started to come through with prices which were not as good as advertised, Today I've received 37 texts messages with Pump king fuel prices and the text's keep coming, I spoke to someone at the club headquarters last week and they said "Their getting their act together now after being overwhelmed with applications".
I'VE HAD TO PUT MY TEXT MESSAGE ALERT ONTO MUTE
I'm afraid to use the card for fear of more cock-ups. Why did I ever sign up to this???, since I started to write this I've had a further 7 texts.

Not looking good at the moment...

It took months for the card to arrive...

Disappointing but I understand that they marketed this with multiple partners and clearly didn’t anticipate the level of demand.

I also accept that the price they charge is based on a level that is below the average price at Esso garages across the country. This clearly means it will be cheaper for some but not all.

For me it’s a good deal and I save about 5p per litre against my local Esso and even a couple of pence against my local Sainsburys.

But, and it’s a big BUT... The level of customer service is zero, I like so many others this morning am getting bombarded by the weekly price update every minute or so, the web site is down and they have my payment details.

This is worrying and not what I expect of a company associated with the two reputable organisations that have marketed it to me.

I’ll have to seriously consider whether to stay with them unless it’s sorted quickly and some reassurances given that they have all my personal data secured.

Waste of time and effort

Waste of time and effort. Website wouldn't work to activate the first card. New card eventually arrived but the supposed discounts are so poor that I havent bothered activating it. 6p per litre more than my local Tesco.

And I'm up to 40+ messages today to tell me what "discounted" price I have the pleasure of being ripped off for this week.

Concerned about my personal details - horrendous service provider

Concerned about my personal details now that I can’t log in to my account. Had 32 texts today and getting slightly irate. What an absolute shambles.. took 3 months for the card to get here. I’m just glad I haven’t had the chance to actually use it yet. Joined through Blue Light Card and I feel sorry for my other colleagues in the NHS and Emergency services that must be having issues. I have emailed Blue Light Card and have suggested they pull the advert from their app to stop anyone else from signing up.

Hang on ...give them a chance

Loads of negative reviews today. They have obviously suffered a technical problem, up to now Pump-King has performed well for me, giving me ordinary prices at Motorway Service stations etc.

Let's see if they get this glitch fixed quickly.

I have received 36 text messages so far this morning and still counting. I believe their website has been hacked and I would suggest everyone changes their passwords and advise their banks to change their account details immediately.
