I ordered the Christian bundle, hardcover to read to my grandchildren. When I received the order, they were paper books instead of the hardcover. These wouldn't last around my little ones. I chatted with customer service and within minutes, they had my hardcover on the way! Great Customer Service:)

As with everyone else, they charged me $104.76 after a 7 day trail!!!! Which when I purchased the order it said 7day free trial for something but it was after I already made my purchases! And I didn't see any info on how to cancel it. I assumed a "Christian" company would at least let you know they're about to hit you with a big charge!!!! Never again! I also accidentally added something to my order and couldn't remove it so I just bit the bullet and bought it too. This company is just too unethical for words. They better reimburse my money today!!!!

I noticed they have many varieties of topics about life stories and good for educating others not just for children but adults people can also learn from those books. Some of the many things they teach that really catch my attention is they teach Godly qualities those are very important to me to teach to children because living in this world as you already know is far from perfection how life was like in the beginning of how God created humans. The first human couple was created perfect back then. Anyway, I also like that they have science books too, great for educating children how to explore things out in nature. I appreciate what they do to help educate children.

My subscription fee was $10 and when I wanted to cancel that it was super easy through the website. We do enjoy the books I have ordered

This company provides a great service for families. Quick processing and shipping got what I ordered. I had an issue and it was resolved immediately. Highly recommend and will order again in the future.

I was charged a $97 fee that I was unaware of. I immediately became unhappy with the company and contacted them. I got a response nearly immediately, and they refunded my money and canceled the subscription I didn’t realize I had.
While I feel they can do better with disclosing the subscription — and it would be far better to NOT have this subscription an automatic thing, but rather something customers would have to intentionally choose — I do appreciate their quick response and the way they resolved this issue. I am rating them 5 stars on their customer service, and hope they will adjust the way their subscription is.

Edit: yes it is on the payment page as a line item but the amount says $0! It does not say anything about a free trial on that page. Also if it was SO clear, why are there hundreds of others with the same problem?!

NOT TOTALLY CHRISTIAN. Please Beware. They advertise to be a Christian company sending out Christian books. However they have books about Yoga for children. Yoga is an ancient pagan deity. It is not just a simple exercise program.

I think the three books I ordered will actually be of value to us. I didn’t realize I was signing up for a subscription when I ordered and when the subscription came out of my bank account, I contacted for help to cancel and had no problem getting my money back immediately. I am happy with the books and the customer service I received.

BE VERY, VERY CAREFUL! This “Christian” company will find every way they can to get your money! I ordered books for my grandson, and before I even got all the books they hit me with this “subscription“ fee of $97! Per the BBB website, they always do this! Then they respond to all the complaints by making the customer feel like they did something wrong! If it were an ethical, Christian company they wouldn’t have a DEFAULT when you order books that adds a subscription! Now I can’t access my “membership” details online OR on an app to cancel it myself. There is NO EXCUSE for this! Additionally, every day I am getting multiple texts and emails, which goes over the line of advertising straight into harassment!

I tried to buy a book from this company and they charged by card and unauthorized subscription charge. They have now not stopped spamming me. It is borderline harassment. My the book off Amazon, they don’t have enough time to harass you every day after you buy it.

Content of books is good, but the company is shady and should probably be reported to the Attorney General in California.

DO NOT BUY FROM THEIR WEBSITE IF YOU WANT SUDDEN, UNEXPLAINED CHARGES ON YOUR CREDIT CARD.

Their website does a very poor job of LETTING YOU REVIEW YOUR ORDER BEFORE BUYING.

I bought these using my phone.

I accidentally bought more books than I expected because I didn't see a screen that told me exactly what I was ordering.

When I completed checkout, all it told me was that the order was received. When I got an email confirmation, the email did not say explicitly what I had ordered or for how much.

When I tried to cancel the book order that I didn't intend to buy very soon after purchase, I was told it had already been shipped, and I could not refund the order until I shipped it back. They gave me a 20% off discount for the order I didn't original intend to buy, so I kept the extra books.

A month later, I'm charged OVER A HUNDRED DOLLARS FOR A SUBSCRIPTION I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW I SIGNED UP FOR??

Apparently, I had left checked that I was interested in a 30 day free subscription for digital books. IF YOU DON'T CANCEL THE SUBSCRIPTION, YOU GET CHARGED AUTOMATICALLY! Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream is NOT CLEAR THAT THIS WILL OCCUR!

They will EMAIL YOU EVERY DAY, Yet somehow they are unable to present you an itemized list of what you are buying before purchase, after purchase, and in an email order confirmation without logging back into the website??!!

The content of the books is good, but the paperbacks are very flimsy. Not much better than a magazine in regards to quality. I feel like I overpaid for what I got.

This company IS NOT TRANSPARENT WITH DOING BUSINESS! SUCH A SHAME when I was just trying to teach my child about emotional intelligence.

PLEASE do a Google search for Puppy Dogs and Ice Cream scam". You will see that many other people have had the same experience!

I would give it a zero if I could. Extra charges $97, for things I did not order keep showing up on my credit card bill. Can't reach them in person. Can only get help through e-mail or chat. I was finally able to get results but only after 4 calls with my credit card company and severeal attempts with puppy dogs and ice cream site.

SCAMMERS!
First they attached more stuff to my order that I didnt want, right before the final checkout prompt and without disclosing the final total. One could easily miss that if you are not being very cautious. Then a month later they charged my card for $97 for a supposed subscription that I never agreed to. Judging by all the other comments here, this is a clear pattern and appears to be their business model. Stay away from this company.
