Purdy and Son Reviews 

We recently chose Purdy’s to pack and move having seen their reviews, and because they’re a local family run business.
They were simply outstanding from start to finish.

Throughout the booking process Joe explained how and when everything would be done.
We paid for packing the day before the move and this was all done on time and very carefully.

The moving day was completely stress free - all thanks to Joe and his team, and the work they’d done beforehand. We’re unpacking now and we can see how well everything has been packed!

From start to finish, Purdy’s were 100% professional, efficient, timely, friendly and hardworking. We won’t be moving for many, many years (if ever!) but we’ll certainly highly recommend Purdy’s to anyone who’s moving, and would also suggest the packing service too, money very well spent!

We had a long drawn out chain and our move date kept being altered and left hanging in the air on more than one occasion, Joe was the calm voice on the end of the phone, in a text, on WhatsApp. He never gave up hope and really helped us stay sane throughout our move. Joe and his tream helped us with a complex series of moves involving moving furniture in and out of storage and distributing it to different places. Probate was involved and so this all took place at a very difficult time for our family. Joe was patient, accessible and organised; the best mix. I highly recommend his service.

I was very pleased with level of service from Purdys when I recently moved from Worcester Park to Wiltshire to be near my family.. All the team were so helpful and obliging, and worked incredibly hard in two of the hottest days of the year so far.

Purdy & Son moved me from our Surrey family home, where we had lived for over 30 years, to a smaller house in Worcestershire.
What could have been very stressful was made so easy by Joe and his team of very cheerful, helpful chaps.
They wrapped and packed everything carefully and labelled all boxes.
Nothing fazed them - even lifting a very heavy garden table down a very narrow side alley on the hottest day.
I cannot recommend them highly enough.

I had Joe and his team come and move me from my property back in March.
Naturally as anyone would be I thought this would be a highly stressful situation although Joe and his team were nothing short of a miracle.
Joe offered excellent communication throughout and was prompt on arrival on the day of the job. Everything was packed within around three hours which still amazes me and then we met him on the other side.
The whole experience was completely professional his staff were kind and Joe went out of his way to ensure that the job was done to a high standard. This includes the small details such as asking me where I would like things to go.
Would highly recommend and definitely use again if I have to move.

I used Joe and his team to move home three years ago (which went incredibly well) and recently needed to move some workshop equipment, so decided to hire them again.
