Beware! Complete Lack of Care and Integrity
I had my property listed for many years with Pure Property Management of Tennessee (formerly Property Management Connection, now Pure HomeRiver Group). Over that time, they completely failed to properly maintain my home, allowing tenants to cause severe damage without holding them financially responsible. It ultimately cost me thousands of dollars out of pocket to repair.
Furthermore, management lied to me regarding tenant renewals and repeatedly authorized unnecessary, costly maintenance work through their own contracted repair vendors. Some of the repairs exceeded their authority limit in my management agreement. When I raised concerns, a company representative actually told me that I "cared too much" about my own property. As an owner, of course I care—I want to attract great tenants and keep them happy so they stay long-term.
This company does not care about owners or tenants; they only care about collecting fees while doing as little actual work as possible. They nickel-and-dime tenants with fees that are never passed along to the owner, misrepresenting both sides. Whether you are a property owner or a tenant looking to rent, I cannot stress enough how important it is to avoid this company.
