Passed ITIL 4 Foundation Exam First Time!
I recently passed my ITIL 4 Foundation training course and exam with Purple Griffon. I have been really impressed with this training provider as I haven't had a good experience with other companies in the past. The level of service is second to none and the tutor was brilliant. Thanks Purple Griffon! I will be bragging about my new certificate to my colleagues.

Avoid, avoid, avoid!
Avoid! I signed up for taking Certified Agile Service Manager training in November. Firstly, Purple griffon send me to a wrong venue - they forgot to inform me about the venue change, so l was late to the training. The new venue had apparently a team building day next to our training room, therefore it was very loud. Loud enough to interrupt the first training day almost completely every 30 minutes...
Secondly, the online exam code just didn't work - withing the valid time window. It turned out that DevOps institute (on behalf of which PG provides trainings) cancelled their partnership with the online exam provider PeopleCert. Again they forgot to inform me about again...
It is very surprising that a company that teaches so much about managing services and how to excel in it, provides such an utterly bad service themselves!

Another Excellent Course from Purple Griffon!
Most recent course was the ITIL 4 Managing Professional Transition.
Have taken many courses with Purple Griffon. Excellent course material and exercises and discussion facilitate learning in the classroom. Managed to pass all exams of courses taken with Purple Griffon! And I believe on this latest course a 100% pass rate from all delegates on the course!

I'd highly recommend Purple Griffon, who have provided, and continue to provide, excellent service throughout the many training courses I've done with them. Organising the courses has been easy thanks to the help of the friendly staff, who deal with phone requests and emails promptly and efficiently. The knowledge of the trainers is also of a high standard, backed up by years of experience in the industry. Pricing is very competitive, and I've no hesitation in recommending Purple Griffon to others and to continue to use them for the ongoing development of me and my team.

Avoid.
Booked Managing Successful Programmes Practitioner refresh, and PRINCE2 Practitioner refresh with Purple Griffon. At first glance, they appeared to offer good value. However, as the course dates loomed, it became very apparent that communication at Purple Griffon is very poor indeed.
Pre-course reading was not provided in an accessible format for the PRINCE2 training, and had to be requested multiple times for MSP. Special requirements which were asked about on their booking sheet, and about which I advised in advance, were not communicated to the trainers for either course, leaving me and the trainer in an embarrassing situation on both occasions, and impacting on the initial benefit I was able to derive from the training I'd paid for. On which note, the accounts person was abusive and shouty because she'd been leaving messsages for me at the phone number and email address for a company I'd left two months prior, in spite of me advising them of the new contact details to reach me on.
The PRINCE2 trainer, on hearing I hadn't been given access to the pre-course reading, told me straight out he had to focus on the delegates sitting Practitioner for the first time, and wouldn't have time to 'hold my hand' - which wasn't what I'd asked for, wanted or needed.
The MSP trainer greeted me with a 'how did we do?' sheet which I was told to fill in _before_ the training started, and gave me the 'helpful information' that he had to score an average of 8.4 to keep his job. No pressure there then. The other delegates, all first-timers for MSP, gave up asking the trainer when they didn't understand something and started asking me instead which ought to have set alarm bells ringing for the trainer, had he not been writing out his Christmas cards during our sessions.
Finally, in spite of my giving Purple Griffon my candidate numbers for both my prior PRINCE2 and MSP Practitioner exam passes, they failed to provide these to either the trainers or the examining body (BCS), so that my results were withheld from me until I eventually had to contact BCS to provide the details myself.
I passed both courses, but no thanks to Purple Griffon. Very poor experience. Book elsewhere.
Incidentally, I have tried taking this up with the account manager, Caitlin Healey, but have had absolutely no response to date. I'm only posting this review because their automated email suggested I might like to tell other people how they'd performed and I thought that would be a jolly good idea...
