Ableton Live intimidating…Not anymore!

If you feel like Ableton Live is overwhelming and super complicated when you first open it, not to worry! Craig’s complete Ableton Live course covers everything inside of Ableton. You don’t have to know absolutely everything before making any music inside Ableton, and that’s what Craig does. He gets you up and producing music right away! And not to worry, he also goes in depth with all of Ableton features throughout the course, so even though you’re up and running quickly, there’s still so much detailed and informative content within the course you’re guaranteed to learn something new each time you open the course. What’s also great about taking Push Patterns courses, is if you have a question you can reach out to Craig and he will actually answer you himself and is very gracious when it comes to helping his course students. If you want to really up your Ableton Live production skills and improve overall with music production, I highly recommend Push Patterns Complete Ableton Live course!!! I also forgot to mention that this course is great for everyone from complete beginners who haven’t ever touched Ableton Live before, to experienced users. There’s literally something for everyone!

I'm on my way

I have Ableton already since Live 9 (now Live 12), but could never get a finger on it. I followed several courses; all talking about details, not really about how to simply start. To drive a car you don't need to know how the engine works, just how to drive it. Details can come later. Push Patterns is great, I got started now. To follow the course you need a second screen or a big screen and than Push Patterns and Ableton Live next to eachother so you can copy what Craig is doing.
Learning by doing it yourself.
Thanks Craig, I'm happy with Push Pattern.

Great course

Great course! Very clear. Great examples. Well sequenced. Craig's presentation style is very personable and engaging. It helped piece together all the major pieces with learning the Push 3. As a result, I find it a great tool and lean towards using it often over the keyboard. Highly recommend!

Push Patterns is terrific!!

The course is extremely well-structured and organized, carrying me logically and at whatever pace I am comfortable with through a dense thicket of techniques and information and allows me to explore with creativity and create new music in an ever-expanding learning environment. The course designer and instructor, Craig, is knowledgeable, approachable and friendly. He always has time to dive deeper with extra help whenever you need it. I highly recommend the course!

Push Patterns Ableton course

This comment might only mean something to a certain generation
As the character "Mike" in an episode of the young ones said while reading a copy of tv times, "I never knew there was so much in it!" This sums up this course

The Push Patterns course is the best one…

The Push Patterns course is the best one I’ve taken in years—not just because of the straightforward explanations, but also due to the instructor’s willingness to provide prompt answers and feedback for any questions that arise. It’s structured into clear, practical modules that make it easy to put what you’ve learned into practice right away. I highly recommend it: 10/10.

I am a complete beginner with no music…

I am a complete beginner with no music theory knowledge or experience just doing this for fun. The tutorials are really good, and exactly the right length to get through one in the evening with some pratice. I also really appreciate that even some of the early ones have been updated recently. The presentation is excellent, and the level is perfect for someone like me, but I am sure someone more experienced would find it just as usful as I do as they could move through the lessons more quickly to see what is new, or get a few refreshers.

Ableton Life 12.1 Course

Got the course at a great discounted price, that said I’d seen several of Craig’s youtube videos and was impressed enough to go for it. Love Craig’s teaching style, it’s clear, simple and easy to understand (I’m 70 years young and had nothing to do with music since high school) so Craig’s methods were important to me. The course is broken down into really manageable bite(byte ?😂) size chunks so I can dip in and out as time allows. Finally (who’d have thought) this aged rocker is actually getting into the more modern day beats😱 yeah the grand kids can’t believe it either😂😂😂 Huge thanks to Craig at Push Patterns 👏👏👏

PushPatterns, Ableton’s Best Complete Personal Online Course

Let me just stat by saying Push Patterns is the go to Site to learn Ableton.
Craig is like the most knowledgeable instructor that one could hope for.
He is like a personal friend guiding you thru this course.
He also actually answered my emails to him when I had a question on a part of the course.
I have taken 3 different online Ableton courses. None of them comes close to PushPatterns. They just took my money and ran, leaving me to fend for myself.
Craig is an accomplished musician, producer and a very patient Ableton Instructor.
I’m looking forward to finishing this course and hope he will be offering other courses as well. Either way I’m am well on my way to creating my musical journey using Ableton.
Thank you Craig for the musical education in teaching me not only how to use Ableton but also to understand what and why I do there to create the music I love.
Again thank you Craig and keep music alive.
Best Regards, James

Worth the time and the money

I've used Live and Push for almost 10 years but I've never felt as thought I'm getting all the bang for my buck. I took a chance on the Push Pattern course for both Push 3 Standalone and Live and my skill level has grown dramatically. I can't say enough about the content, organization and value -- all are 5 stars. Next for me is the performance course. Time to take this out and play :)

Best Ableton course

There are many, many videos, sites and courses out there devoted to teaching Ableton Live, but Push Patterns is definitely the most indepth and structured course that I've come across. Craig offers loads of content for free, but his paid course is really excellent value for money.

Ableton Live isn't overwhelmingly difficult - it just does a LOT of different things - and Push Patterns represents a fantastic resource for learning / refreshing Ableton skills to which you can return again and again. Whatever kind of music you're hoping to make with Ableton, I highly recommend Push Patterns.

Very good course to learn all the ins & outs.

Pretty nicely structured course that takes into account both beginner and intermediate levels. Particularly the duration of each section is rather short and specific which helps not to lose focus while watching it, especially for ADHD people like myself. Also like the fact that it’s evergreen and will keep on developing/updating as Push 3 grows further! Thanks to Craig for this great piece of educational content!

A solid Complete Walkthrough of the Ableton Push 3 - That is kept up to date.

I did most of this some time ago, but finally went back and worked through the last couple modules and a review was requested.

This is an extremely detailed walk through of every major feature of the device, and as new features are added, updated videos are added to cover the new feature. It will let you know and show you as 'not finished' so you can easily find where there are updates.

I know in the world of 5 star reviews or nothing a 4 star review might seem bad, but I found this to be well worth its money, but I also struggled with a few things that I wasn't able to figure out from the video.

I am mostly using my Push 3 stand alone, so a lot of times referring back to live to do something that I later figured out might be doable on the push (Matrix for Wavetable a big one) was shown on live while I was trying to learn it on stand alone.

I also had hoped to some more examples of playing the pads for musical notes. There are mutiple ways you can play notes, and I have struggled with this in the less than a year I've owned my push coming from a Piano player. There is a solid examples on the 4th layout, but I'm weird and wanted flat 5s and 9ths and a few other things that are hidden, so going chromatic.

So, this is probably a five star review for most people, but there were some areas I struggled with related to my musical journey.

One thing I wish the system used to present the videos remembered the volume settings, for some reason on my computer (Mac w/Safari) whenever it starts a new video it resets to FULL VOLUME on the video, and I adjust it down, and then next video is FULL VOLUME.
