Very unprofessional almost laughable

Very unprofessional almost laughable. Phoned in week for a test drive, told to just turn up Saturday and it will be ready for you, we did. Sales person not interested, maybe because we were not buying a brand new vehicle. Vehicle didn't start, dashboard was out, so no test drive, no apologies, 30mins of wasted time and fuel, salesman, basically he wasn't one. Family and myself have all purchased vehicles in the past from them, never again!

We found a great deal on Autotrader and contacted Keith at P W Millar.

He was extremely helpful and we purchased and picked up the car within 48 hours. There were some minor issues taxing the car, due to the speed of the transaction, but these were sorted out with no bother.

All the staff we dealt with were friendly helpful and honest.

A great experience.

Rude and unprofessional:(

Rude and unprofessional customer service:
Few weeks ago I spoke to Ned from sales enquiring about buying a car which is advertised on Autotrader, he kept saying repeatedly if you don't like the price " you can go somewhere else", asked to be transferred to the Manager, than a lady answers the phone and even she was very rude saying that she's not the manager and disconnects the call.
In short there is no level on professional and friendly customer service skills,
Will not recommend.

Booked with these jokers as clutch had gone on my van. They assured me may be a small job! But needed more like 1600£ worth of clutch as was also a flywheel.
Anyway long story short they made a video and also wanted to do brakes front and rear over £1000
All tyres £200 each. Etc etc.
Why do a video when all I wanted was a clutch. And I can get tyres £30 each part worn thanks. AVOID LIKE COVID.
31st January 2023 was the date grey ford transit custom . You tried to genuinely con me .

Long trip from Yorkshire to Wales but worth it!

I saw this car online and although I live in Yorkshire, I asked information about it and Nad was very efficient sending me as much information of the car he could. After arriving in PW Millar, Barry, Nad ask me to
check the car and he drove showing me the ins and outs of the vehicle which I appreciated. Back to Yorkshire and my wife just love it. Happy wife happy life. All the transaction was done step by step so I could understand all the process clearly. Thanks a lot and all the best Nad and PW Millar. We are really enjoying the car.

Extremely disappointed in the service…

Extremely disappointed in the service received by this dealership. On viewing the vehicle I noticed the MOT expired the following month and asked if the car would be supplied with a new MOT which was agreed by the salesperson (DF). I was told they would need a few days to sort this which I understood and agreed and paid the deposit. On collecting the car 5 days later I was told the car passed MOT and the free health check didn’t show up any other issues. I was told no paperwork for MOT was supplied as it’s all online now. Out of curiosity I checked online around a week later to find that the MOT had in fact not been done and I had been lied to. I emailed and called salesman multiple times and was ignored, even though he’d be in regular contact until after I’d paid in full for the car.
Then I decided to call the sales manager and was told he’s on a call and would get back to me, strangely enough I never got a call. Good job I have the initial phone calls recorded as I’ve now opened up a case with trading standards, such a shame over a measly £40 MOT but lying in order to make a sale is always going to leave in a negative review.

Worst car buying experience ever! Avoid avoid avoid!

I emailed Ford UK about this dealership and I hope others do too!

Worst car buying experience ever and I strongly advise anyone to avoid this dealership or at least if interested in car from this dealer to go and view it as the quality standard in this dealership is extremely low and you will be surprised of what they consider “ok” & “normal”

I almost bought a 2017 VW Touran with 19252k mileage (DE67TRZ) and it was supposed to be delivered on a Saturday. On the Friday before, my brother in law offered to drive me to go get it and THANK GOD I did!!

First, the sales person DF was dry on the phone and the price is the price talk which for me is strange as I never buy a car at asking price as there is always room for negotiation to make a customer happy but the car wasn’t discounted a pound! In any case, the price was the lowest and I have been looking for weeks so I thought I’ll just buy it as it ticked all my boxes; low mileage from what I thought a respectable dealership, I don’t think that anymore.

I arrived after a 3 hours drive and I went straight to the car and called the sales person to let him know I arrived. He came a few minutes later and gave me the key to the car and told me that I can drive it around the lot and then bring it up front so we can finish the paper work and he left! I started inspecting the car and immediately I noticed that for a 19k mileage the car had one too many scratches but the surprise was on the inside! The car has a panoramic roof and the electric shade was rolled back and when I closed it I saw a huge water stain and mold all over it which indicates that the panoramic roof might have or had a leak (very expensive repair if needed) so I started really looking at the inside of the car and I noticed damage to the trim in multiple places like the the center console cup holder and electric hand brake buttons is broken and there’s an obvious gap, ventilation blades were broken on at least two vents which for me indicated that the mileage might not be 19k as the odometer shows or at least the car wasn’t cared for!

I didn’t drive the car at all and I called the sales person DF and informed him that I have found damage on the car and I asked him to come as I won’t be driving it up front. He came and started looking at the car and he said that he can’t see anything! I showed him the center console damage and he said “ that’s fine! The hand brake button works! And this is ok” and then I showed him the shade curtain and he said “ they didn’t close the shade when the washed the car and now it moldy and it just needs cleaning!” I told him that it’s a leak damage as there was a yellow stain and mold and that can’t just happen in a day or two since they washed the car! He insisted that it’s the car wash guy’s mistake and right away started the car and took it inside the garage. I followed him as I wasn’t satisfied with his explanation and wanted to discuss the car further but after a few minutes in the garage he came out and started walking back to the show room and I had to call him and stop him as since I arrived I didn’t spend 5 minutes with the guy! I asked to give me a minute of his time and he replied that he has a customer he needs to call!! I asked him and what am I?? I’m not a customer??!! He walked away regardless! That’s when I decided I don’t want the car anymore even if they discount it or offer warranty or anything of the sort (which never happened btw) and since I’m not allowed in the show room due to COVID, I called and I asked for the manager. After a good 10 minutes on the phone a manager spoke to me and I informed him that I don’t want the car and to please refund me my money. He didn’t argue with me or try to find out why, he simply said that we don’t want unhappy customers and I’ll refund your money but by the way, the mold is due to car wash mistake and not a leak. I informed him that it’s no longer about the car but it’s about the horrible customer service I received to which he apologized for and started the refund process.

This is how much this dealership appreciates customers...No one came out to talk to me, no one offered anything to make the situation better and I was out in the lot the whole time and it was all done over the phone! Never ever have I been treated this way and I truly wonder if my name was John smith and not Osama or my skin color was lighter, would I have been treated differently? There’s no doubt in my mind but whatever the reason was... no one should be treated like that no matter what!

I’m so happy that went to get the car myself and advise anyone to go see any car in person as I’m certain I wouldn’t have been refunded £260 shipping fees if the car was shipped to me in that condition and I sent it back!

The car is now £200 more than when I first saw it but the pictures are still the same and in one of them you can see the center console damage which confirms that it’s acceptable by this dealership’s standards.

Excellent garage to do business with

Excellent garage to do business with, bought several cars from here and customer service from start to end has always been fantastic. Good price on vehicles and very competative, good sales department, good aftercare/servicing department. Smaller family business with a personal touch.

BUYER PLEASE BEWARE!!!!!! INSPECT BEFORE YOU BUY.

I bought a 2020 Mercedes A class with 1400 miles. Unfortunately I couldn’t view it due to the lockdown in Wales but I was assured that the car was 100%. Like me you probably ask what could possibly be wrong with a car of that age with those miles. I collected the car at Bristol airport after quick visual inspection I headed off to the ferry at Cairnryan. When I got the car home I found budget tyre fitted on one wheel. I also found damage to a wheel arch and the bonnet. Thankfully the dealer agreed to pay £113 to have it replaced. I have now had to pay to have the wheel arch and bonnet repaired. Turns out it’s probably not the first time the car has had a bit of paint work. Not really what you’d expect of a car of this age. I find it very strange a dealership would miss all these faults. From what was initially a very pleasant and exciting purchase I have now been left feeling extremely deflated and disappointed after parting with nearly £22000. My advice to anyone purchasing a car at this dealership is please inspect the car yourself before buying it.

Con merchants

I bought a freelander from here, not valeted bought in the pouring down rain, when it dried up the car had scratches all over it, the warranty supplied wasn’t worth the paper it was written on. Battery was dead, not serviced as stated, Interior lights not working DPF filter blocked and had to be replaced passenger electric mirror not working interior was cleaned with terrible smelling solvent the interior was still filthy I had to get re valeted, they will lie to you and then when the heat gets too much ignore you. The excuse was what do you expect for £11,000 please avoid this garage it’s not worth the hassle, they offered me £70 I told them to shove it, they think that because I live 90 miles away I won’t be coming back to see them, but I will. They have many false reviews on google.

Very poor standard of customer service

Very poor standard of customer service. I asked for specifics of car but told by salesman his computer was down. He declined to let me test drive the car saying it was blocked in and said he would wait for my husband to accompany me on another day just to test drive it. I can only assume because I am female and came alone, I was appalled. He did not think to question who it was buying the car.
