Do not engage with this company

Do not engage with this company, there is a £300.00 fee whether they sell or not, and as they take on everything they can, this is how their money is made!!
After all the enthusiasm and "feelgood" of thier initial visit and instruction, it is almost impossible to get their attention. It began with every reason imaginable given why the "sales" team could not come around after the instruction, and they failed to arrange even one viewing from the eight they claimed to have matched to the property; ultimately the number of potential buyers they claimed to have was the reason for engageing with them. When we questioned them some time after instruction why it was that we had not had a viewing more excuses continued; every excuse from it wasn't what their clients were looking for, to it being too expensive! Based on this feedback we instructed them to return to the potential purchasors and offer it at £100,000.00 less. Having removed all the 'obstcals' there was still no response, and they became increasingly difficult to contact, to the point that we attempted to speak with four of their directors, none of whom were available. Ultimately we were told by a receptionist to stop contacting them. When we finally contacted Craig Stones, Branch Manager, he told us that he had to get his head together (?) and that he should never have taken the property on. We agreed to give 28 days notice, but discovered that they had ceased all marketing immidiately, and are now looking for £300.00 which they feel they are entitled to as it was in the contract. A contract goes two ways so off to Court it trots!! They had done nothing and stated to us that they should have never taken the instruction on. This is one fact that we are in agreement. Furthermore the fact that they are looking for payment for taking it on is not only ludicrous, but offensive. It was the highest valued property on their books and it was a clear case of P&Crone confusing ability with ambition as it was way beyond their capability to SELL a property. Save your time and money, put it on Rightmove yourself!

5 Star Service

Me and my husband would like to thank Tom, Demi & Luke at Pygott & Crone (Grantham Branch). From start to finish we received an excellent service. We would also like to thank Alisha Hate (Lincoln Branch) for all her help with our buyer's solicitor.

Shocking

Shocking. Was going to let the poor communication go because property completed and I no longer needed to deal with them.

I am missing keys so I have contacted… apparently I have lost them! No responsibility taken for anything!

We received a fantastic service from…

We received a fantastic service from Joe Mckue and the team at Pygott and Crone (Boston branch). The dedication, professionalism and service we received was outstanding from start to finish. Joe ensured we was kept up to date and informed on every aspect of our sale and purchase. Knowing that Joe had everything in order helped make a smooth and hassle free process. Thank you Pygott and Crone and more importantly thank you Joe Mckue.

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF AN ESTATE AGENT

ABSOLUTE DISGRACE OF AN ESTATE AGENT! DO NOT EVER USE ANY BRANCHES OF THIS AWLFUL BUNCH - EVER! - LINCOLN AND THEIR HEAD OFFICE IN SLEAFORD ARE PARTICULARY BAD!!!! Rude, Extremely Unprofessional, Totally Discourteous, Patronising, Youngsters with Zero Experience in Life, let alone in Selling Property! Don't even get me started on the so-called 'Directors and de Management'! They do NOTHING to SELL your property - FACT! Promise the earth, deliver zero! Do not fall for their deceit, devil smiles and untruths! They put the smarmy distrust back into all Estate Agents! ALWAYS READ their Contract Terms and Conditions! Otherwise they will try to tie you in to a 28 day notice period, even though they themselves have broken all of their own Contractual Legal Agreements, Obligations and Terms and if you withdraw your property from them, they even try to send you a £300 bill exit fee!!! DO NOT PAY THIS!!! - EVER!!! Let them chase you for it, if they can be even bothered. Do not let this Company 'Piggies and Cronies' bully you and take you for a fool, they will do NOTHING to help or assist you! Complete waste of your valuable time, who just add unnecessary stress to complicate matters and seem to relish in it! You should be Billing them for all your time wasted and for the aggravations! DO NOT USE!!! Warning Update The Branch Manager of Lincoln is also an out & out Pathological Liar! - FACT - & the Sleaford H/Q are the very same! DO NOT EVER TRUST THEM!

Horrific experience Pygott andCrone and…

Horrific experience Pygott andCrone and KMRE. Do not buy any properties from them including Hindle House Nottingham. Very lengthy process, service provided was absolutely abysmal prioritising the seller.

They give empty promises, ignored any issues but quick to grab money from you. They also hire a bunch of people to give themselves positive feedback

KMRE build terrible apartments with cheapest quality material but exorbitant price. 2 bedroom apartment for 250k?? What a scandalous developer bet they make 100k profit. Things go haywire numerous problems but they never reply

Terrible,worst company

It is with great regret that I must express my disappointment with the team at Pygott and crone and KMRE. From the moment of our first encounter, there was a lack of interest in responding to emails or addressing issues that arose. The cost of the 2 bedroom apartments outside London, which were priced at a staggering 250k, suggested that this organisation may prioritise profit and the developer over customer satisfaction.

The customer service provided by this organisation was absolutely atrocious. Even when speaking with the manager about the numerous issues encountered, it seemed as though there was a complete lack of interest in resolving the situation. Zero communication, absolutely bunch of liars. It is simply unacceptable to treat customers in this manner, especially when such a significant investment is involved.

The quality of the apartments is nothing short of terrible, with poor heat and noise insulation. It appears that there is no intention to rectify these issues, which is deeply concerning. It is disheartening to realise, in hindsight, that I should have researched the reviews of others before committing to such an unscrupulous bunch.

I implore the organisation to reevaluate its priorities and invest in providing exceptional customer service. It is not only ethical but also essential for the long-term success of the organisation

Another bad review but they don’t care, avoid!

One star company, I dealt with the Grantham branch and can only comment on them.
The ladies that work there are ok, the male team is shockingly bad.
No communication, no care. Prepared to sit back and demand the 1% commission and not do a thing for it.
Don’t expect phone calls, don’t expect any help from this lot, go elsewhere!

Excellent service given by all throughout the whole process

I recently sold my property through their Grantham branch and was so impressed with every aspect of service offered. A particular thank you to Luke, Adam and Josh. Each one of them was extremely professional and made the selling process very easy. in future I wouldn't consider using any other estate agent

Very poor performance

Very poor performance! Can't recommend them. They had my property on the market for a year and consistently sent the wrong people to view it. They found a 'buyer' but didn't investigate their claim that they were cash buyers which proved false and the withdrew their offer just before exchange of contracts. This company gives estate agents a bad name!

R Soles

R Soles. Avoid. They will degrade you, insult you. They will lie to you cheat you, take your money before all legal docs are signed. They will strongly deny this as they are above all us minions.
Young kids, unprofessional, not a clue.
Probably the worst company I have come across in all my years.
Should be closed down

Polite friendly and helpful

Pygott & Crone sold our house within 6 days of going on the market for more than the asking price. Polite, friendly staff who kept us informed right the way through the process. Couldn't have asked for a better team.
