Contacted saying I have an overdue parking ticket, & to follow a link.
Scam, thankfully I didn't do it 😞

This is a scam website sending SMS messages about unpaid parking fines.

This looks like a scam to me!

Scam text about car parking charge.

"Parking Penalty Charge Notice. Please Pay a parking penalty charge notice (PCN) issued by a local council. If you do not pay a PCN within 28 days you'll get a 'charge certificate' and you'll have 14 days to pay the original fine plus 50% more. If you do not pay you'll be prosecuted - you may have to pay a bigger fine as well as court costs. Please pay your fine at the link after reading the information. Thank you again for your cooperation."
Well, considering that I have NOT parked my car anywhere else other than supermarket disabled car spot, I soon realised that this had to be a SCAM. However, enough to scare an elderly lady - So be AWARE and do not be taken in by this. Have just subsequently received message that "My account has been cancelled". Not sure what "RCS chat with 07915 103666 is all about. Mobile number??

Received two texts today about living allowances. Blocked first. Received second, replied (what rhymes with) 'muck off bunt' and blocked that too. Hope it's not something to do with living allowances.

Got a txt 15 mins ago saying your annual living allowance for 2023-24 hasn't been received yet, valid for 3 working days,last notice submit application. with a code on it which like others starts with qrco.de.
The phone number is 075333229281.I've just put a review on who called me uk.I was the 1st person to report the odd number, but it would be helpful if others did, to let them know it's a scam & not to click the link.

Text message scam - Do NOT Click

Text telling me I have a parking fine, and as I just had a parking issue with the council I clicked the link which takes you to a VERY convincing copy of the GOV.UK parking site. Then I checked here before going further. They had my reg.number and locality as well. BE CAREFUL!!

SCAM. I also got a Parking PCN via text from 07576356440. Used a sandboxed browser to check the qrco.de payment URL and it redirected to a Canadian resale company.

Have received 2 txt messages from different numbers (second after I blocked the first number) Txt mentions living allowance not received for 2023/2024. Both have same link from qrco.de

Received a worrying text from this company about a parking fine.
This led me to a '.Gov' site requesting car details. I don't own a car!!!!!!!

Spam text received saying I had a parking fine. Didn't click on the link but checked on Trustpilot.
Phone number was 07496 216888. Number now blocked
