Message sent claiming wrong adress for…
Message sent claiming wrong adress for package delivery, although we have not ordered anything. Number used with landcode India, Niger and today Great Britain. Scam.
Same as the other posters
Same as the other posters, my text came from qrco.de claiming "Evri: your package has arrived at the warehouse but cannot be delivered due to an incomplete address. Please update your shipping details to facilitate delivery. The cost of redelivery will be borne by you. Please click on the link below to make changes"
I did actually click on the link, as I am awaiting a (FedEx) delivery from Germany, but of course did not fill in any details to the - admittedly genuine looking! - website as the number used was +63 951 696 3199 which is a Philippines code 🙄

This is a website used by https support qr-code-generator com. They create redirectable QR codes for customers. They obviously do not check the destination URLs for scams. I tried emailing them at security bitly com about a scam URL but they do not reply and do not remover the scam URL. You will get some honest URLs on the website but also scam URLs as well. Avoid any qrco.de URLs or risk getting scammed.

SEE UPDATE BELOW
They always give you a link to an advertiser along with the link from the scanned QR code.
They don't make it clear which link you want.
I clicked the wrong link, and it tried to sign me up for an app I'd never heard of, with a box pre-checked to charge me an additional $39.99
Don't use qrco.de . It's not hard to find an honest app that does the same thing.
UPDATE: I gave too much information to the scam link before I realized it wasn't the app I wanted. It caused two phony $39.99 transactions on a debit card, which I now have to replace.
From reading other reviews, it seems they have a QR scanner app that always displays an ad link along with the scan result, and also a business that provides bait-and-switch business services.
Either way, they deserve the classic signoff, "I'd give negative stars if I could.."
