New case too thick and inflexible (updated)

Update (5/10/26): Below I complain about the case being too stiff. After repeated use, it is beginning to become more flexible, and it is easier to extract the phone. This is a positive development, and I hope it will continue to become more flexible still.

First post below:
I really like the quad lock system and have been using it for many years. During that time, I got a new case each time I got a newer iPhone. I would rate all my previous cases 5-star, but the one for my new iPhone has problems. It is made of a thicker, stiffer plastic, and it's very difficult to get the phone out of the case after a ride. Very difficult. I am afraid of damaging the phone with the amount of pressure I need to apply to the camera-area of the phone trying to pop it out of the case. The thicker, stiffer plastic has no flexibility to facilitate the phone being released. There was no need to make the new cases virtually bulletproof. The previous cases were secure but also allowed some flex to allow the phones to be released fairly easily.

Quad lock works well

I love the quad lock! My old one started to pop apart after about 4 years. Their web site and videos are poor but the product is great!

Case failed

I purchased this case for my new Samsung S26 Ultra. I purchased the case with the magnetic option. After less than a month the magnetic part of the case failed and started detaching from the case. Apparently the magnetic part of the case is not built in and is easily detachable. Thankfully the case protected my phone when the magnetic part failed and my phone fell. If you get the case with magnets, Do not get.

The system works good but the only problem I had was the car quadlock holder it would not stay in place even if I used extra glue so in the end I had to screw it to the dashboard. The bike system works good and the belt holder works great too.

Buyer Beware

I ordered this system fir my HD Motorcycle in the qst week of April for a planned trip because their advertising claimed it ships within 2-3 business days, IT DIES NOT, I tried to cancel it after recieving a message claiming it hasn't left the warehouse yet 5 days later & they would not cancel it. As of today I still have not been given a tracking number as I requested in the beginning when I tried to cancel, they are now claiming it was delivered yet I have not recieved any package. They are refusing to refund my money ( over $231 ) here is their response to me in my email. They are trying to put the burden on me to track the package. It is my belief this company partakes in deceptive practices.
Buyer beware !!

Bought the usb charger worked for about a day, now bought the waterproof wireless charger, thought I’d install today but unfortunately doesn’t come with half the bits needed to install, really complicated and doesn’t say anything about this in description or on the box, will now have to pay for someone to fit it, rubbish company!

Screen protector failed under normal use

Support was responsive, communication was clear, and they promptly offered a replacement. This has positively changed my view of the brand.

I had a mixed experience with Quad Lock.

On the positive side, their customer support was responsive and flexible when handling my return for other items, which I appreciated.

However, I was very disappointed with the screen protector. It cracked under what I would consider normal use — no drop, no visible impact, just placing the phone on a standard table.

What surprised me even more was the explanation from support, stating that this is expected because the protector “did its job.” While I understand the concept, I would not expect a product designed for protection to fail so easily under such minimal conditions.

In my view, this raises concerns about durability and real-world performance.

Good service, but the product quality (at least for the screen protector) did not meet expectations.

Quad Lock: Premium Price, Disposable Quality!

I’ve been a Quad Lock user, but the MAG case is a massive disappointment. After a simple cleaning, the hard plastic backplate separated from the outer rubber frame.
The design flaw here is ridiculous: the rubber lip is so incredibly thin that once it pops out of its groove, it is physically impossible to snap it back in. I tried everything, from thin cards to professional tools, but even a needle is too thick for this gap.
For a case that markets itself as 'rugged' and 'premium,' it’s unacceptable that a routine cleaning makes it unusable. It’s not just 'wear and tear'; it’s a fundamental bonding failure between the TPU and the polycarbonate plate. If you are planning to take your phone out of the case even once, think twice. You’re paying for a premium mount system, but receiving a disposable case that belongs in the trash the moment it gets dusty.
Avoid the MAG case until they fix this blatant manufacturing defect.

Great customer Service

Had what i thought was an issue when actually my eyes do, made a complaint to Quadlock with regards to what i thought was damage to a mag charger when it turned out to be the residue from the bottom of the charger and not damge to my side tables.

Customer service kicked in to make me aware of what to do and they have also offered to replace the affected item.

Got a case for my S25 ultra. Its a perfect fit. And I have peace of mind knowing that the unit is snug on the bike handle bar. They are quite pricy but there is a price to pay for quality and peace of mind

Shipping is a mess

I was in search for a product like this my bike. And, decided to order directly through the company instead of Amazon because I had additional options to customize. I’d love to review this product, but it’s been 2 weeks and it hasn’t arrived. I follow the link to track and watched it get close to me, in Oklahoma, and then the next tracking is back to New Jersey.
It’s 2026. There are so many professional and fast shipping options. This is ridiculous. I have reached out to the company and they said they would get back to me.
If you want this product, don’t order from the website. Find it on a site that understands how to ship.
I’ll follow up with a review of the product if I ever get it.

Absolutely infuriating support…

Absolutely infuriating support experience, every step is meant to discourage you from talking with a real person.

You are also discouraged from leaving any reviews, literally no way to do it unless you have been "chosen" by email.

Bought a gopro mount accessory for the outfront mount pro, but apparently its not compatible even though i bought less than a year ago. No warning on the product page that the product has been redesigned and is incompatible. Old gopro mount can no longer be bought, so only option is to pay another 60 euros to buy the new mount.

Long-Time Customer, But Extremely Disappointed with Recent Experience
I've been a loyal Quad Lock customer for years and own many of their products. I've always been satisfied with the quality until now. I'm extremely disappointed with the recent experience and how I was treated as a returning customer.
I ordered the MAG Water Bottle, and at the time of purchase, the website showed no indication it was on backorder or out of stock—no warning, no alert, nothing. After placing my order, I received no communication at all about any delay. When I tried to track my delivery days later, the order hadn't even been shipped. I had to chase them first.
Only then did I get a dismissive apology and was told "will make sure it's on its way." After five more days with no update, I had to chase them again. Only on the second chase and after multiple online chats as not being able to speak to anyone on a phone did I finally receive a proper response explaining there were "conflicting internal stock records" that prevented proper notification. This is unacceptable. I felt fobbed off from the start with a hollow apology and empty promise.
For a company I've trusted for years, this was poor service. The lack of transparency, the delayed communication, and having to chase twice for basic updates is frustrating. I ended up buying the same product from Amazon where stock was clearly shown and delivery was estimated at 6–7 days.
Quad Lock has let me down badly. I hope management reviews how stock is displayed, how backorders are communicated, and how they treat loyal customers. Until things improve, I'll be thinking twice before ordering again.
