Disgusting way to treat a disabled veteran

I normally don’t leave reviews like this, but the way I was treated by this company was completely out of line.

I’m a 100% disabled veteran with PTSD. During my experience with Qualifier, one of their Funding Specialists responded to me by saying, “Your a joke brother.” In another email, he wrote, “Wow I can tell you have you have PTSD….”

That is honestly unbelievable coming from someone who is supposed to be representing a professional company.

You can disagree with me. You can deny my application. You can tell me you don’t want my business. That’s fine. What you don’t do is take someone’s disability and use it against them just because a conversation isn’t going your way.

Once my PTSD was brought into the conversation like that, I felt like I wasn’t being treated like a customer anymore. I felt like I was being mocked and belittled because of a disability related to my military service.

That part bothered me more than anything else.

Disabled veterans already deal with enough. We shouldn’t have to worry about giving a company personal information and then having that same information thrown back in our face later as an insult.

I have the emails and screenshots. I’m not guessing about what was said, and I’m not repeating something I heard from somebody else. These messages were sent directly to me during my own interaction with the company.

If you’re a disabled veteran or someone with a disability, I would be very careful about what personal information you share with this company. In my experience, my PTSD ended up being used to belittle me.

The whole thing was incredibly disrespectful and unprofessional. I don’t expect every business interaction to go perfectly, but I do expect someone working for a financial company to be able to communicate without mocking someone’s disability.

Absolutely shameful experience.
