I am fortunate to have a dedicated team of caregivers who assist me with my physical disability, which requires me to use two NHS-prescribed wheelchairs—an electric one for indoors and a manual one for outside. They ensure I am showered, dried, and dressed, and they provide my meals while administering my medication twice a day. My cognitive challenges due to vascular dementia are increasing, but the team is both compassionate and knowledgeable, particularly regarding my experience with Bipolar Affective Disorder type II. Additionally, they help me cope with the aftereffects of a seven-week course of Linear Beam Radiotherapy in 2023, which affected my bowels. The management and ownership here are the best I've encountered since relocating to West Sussex in October 2003.
