Visioncare At Home provides expert eyecare to care home residents and housebound individuals - bringing high-quality, compassionate care to those who need it most, in the place they feel most comfortable. Our approach is truly person-centred. We take time to understand each individual, adapting our assessments to their clinical needs, communication abilities, and personal circumstances. We work closely with care teams to deliver practical, effective solutions that support vision, comfort, independence, and overall quality of life. Our clinical teams are experienced in working within care home environments and with people who may have complex needs, including frailty, dementia, or reduced mobility. We aim to make every appointment as calm, respectful, and reassuring as possible, while ensuring examinations are carried out safely and with minimal disruption to residents and staff. We recognise the importance of clear communication with residents, families, and care professionals, helping everyone involved to feel informed and supported. We’re proud to be trusted by care homes across the UK, and we actively use feedback from residents, families, and care professionals to shape and improve what we do. Listening and responding to that feedback is central to maintaining a service people can depend on and to continually improving the standard of eyecare we provide.

Spoke with Molly on the phone

I spoke with Molly on the phone who explained the outcome of my uncle's eye test in his care home.
She was very polite and not pushy with regards him requiring a pair of new lenses in his frame. They are now on order at a reasonable price.

Excellent service

I was dubious about a visit, to the care home, by an optician
Muhammad and colleague (apologies I forgot her name) were calm, sympathetic and took their time to sort out glasses for mum; a brilliant service and not extortionate
