Poor customer service when things go wrong

My order for contact lenses was not delivered and Quality Eyes are refusing to either send a replacement order or refund my money. This dispute has been going on for 6 months. Very poor customer service. I understand that deliveries can go wrong but how a problem is resolved (or rather not) speaks louder than regular successful interactions. I have already taken my contact lenses ordering to a different provider and won’t be going back to QE even if they will at some point decide to fulfill the missing order or refund my payment.

Because the parcel was marked as delivered with GPS confirmation, we were required to complete Royal Mail’s claims procedure before we could take further action. The first claim was rejected by Royal Mail. Although no additional information was available, you expressed that you disagreed with their decision, so we reopened the case and escalated it again on your behalf.

Royal Mail has now accepted liability, and we have processed a full refund.

We’re sorry for the delay and appreciate your patience while we worked to resolve this.

Good communication about delays to order

The item I wanted was out of stock due to manufacturing issues but Quality Eyes kept me up to date with what was happening. They dispatched my order as soon as they received new stock and the items were packaged well and arrived quickly.

It started off bad but to be fair you…

It started off bad but to be fair you turned it round and I am happy with the result and will certainly be using you again on a regular basis. You were quick to sort the problem and it was good you could phone and speak to a human which is a really big plus well done

Slow delivery

Took 5 days to get my lenses and I had to pay £5 postage despite spending £99 ( £1 off the free delivery deal!) could have been quicker- had to make do for 2 days without lenses.
