I thought this website was a scam after I placed the order and when I saw that it didn't arrive within the next few days, I started to investigate and found a lot of bad reviews. I then waited and it finally arrived just 2 weeks after I placed the order. it's confusing because the items were indeed in China and the website is not what's advertised in the T&C for delivery etc (not from UK), BUT, my order arrived, and the item is absolutely perfect. I don't know if I am the only lucky one, but the 2 Chantal | Vegan Leather Jacket that I received, not only are as described, but they fit me perfectly, it's insane. It's way better than expected. Please do not order from this company. First time I ordered 2 jackets .before ordering I asked for returns & refund policy they said within 30 days . Had to chase up the delivery many times. The moment I received the jackets I was very disappointed and emailed them straight away for returns stating poor quality and not how it looks it photo . They don’t give you refund but instead offer you to swap with a fee of £10 or 20% refund once you send goods back to China which is costing more than the item . I have never heard of such thing. They send you similar emails over and over again . There is no phone number to speak up anyone and I have had really depressing time . I ended up putting the jackets in a charity bag . Please don’t order from this company.

Poor quality and inaccurate sizing. Not manufactured in UK as lead to believe. Very disappointed!

TOTAL SCAM goods not as advertised, long line jumper arrived as tiny and cropped. Poor quality, polyester not cotton mix, no sizing, no labels. The cost of return will be total waste of money. Came from China not Manchester. Beware.

Very poor quality product - described as cotton but definitely synthetic. Nothing to do with Manchester - a complete scam -direct from China! Difficult and very costly to return.

DO NOT GO NEAR THIS COMPANY. Having checked out their website, and believing it was genuine (even a photo of one of arcades on Deansgate), I ordered 2 items. They arrived and were absolutely not as advertised. The ad stated yarn was wool and cotton mix, it shines so much you don't have to touch it to know it is 100% synthetic. The model was wearing a relaxed oversized jumper, I ordered the appropriate size, what arrived were so small they could only be oversized on a child. Though both the same size (???) they are different lengths. Website instructs you to email for return details. Took more than a week for a response and then they want photos of goods, labels, tags, packaging and proof of purchase. There are no labels or tags, no invoice or packing list. if it helps anyone there is a 'Return Address' on packaging 4PX ExpressUK Co Limited, Unit 5 Trident Way, Southall, UB2 5LF. My next steps, contact Trading Standards and Citizens Advise Consumer Helpline to raise awareness and petition Parliament in the hope that something will be done to stop this growing trade. Also I will contact my card provider and the SHOP app, as whether they are aware or not they are assisting these deceitful traders by allowing them to use their services.

OMG. The garment I was sent was of such poor merchantable quality it is quite comical. I hope these guys are creaming it, because I suspect they won't be around in 3 months.

Do not buy from this company

Not advertise product, all from China and sizing is way off - lots of emails about offers to deal with return but none accepting they fail to meet minimum quality standards and not as advertised. Wish I’d seen other poor reviews before purchase. This is fraud

Wish i had had the sense to read the reviews before i fell into the same trap. I bought two sweaters which eventually arrived after a long time. The sizing is tiny, as others have said, and no returns label. Eventually i found an email to contact, and asked how to return. Immediately was offered the opportunities to get the sweaters in larger sizes for about £9 or £10 each, and keep the originals. Glad i did not fall for that. When i just asked how to return, they have fallen silent ... I am thinking i'll have to find someone's children to give the sweaters to ...

I eventually received my order from Quartier and was horrified to see the quality of my fleece. Nothing like the picture on the website. I, like others I have tried to get an address to return it but getting no response from them after I supplied them with relevant details and photos as requested. They have gone silent on me.
I see they charge £12.95 to return an item to this so called UK company. Having dug a bit further it looks like it is a scam and the Chinese based “company” are up to all sorts of tricks to get money from you and possibly use your id too. I wish I had seen all these reviews first instead of believing what I read on the website. Please beware. Do not order from this website.

As others have stated, the jumper when it arrived was much smaller than described. I mistakenly thought this was a UK company because of the name I have asked for a return slip three times but no response from Quartier Manchester in a week. I think I will have to accept that I have been scammed and give the jumper to charity.

Thieves nothing more. They have developed a “stealing process” based in China.

Wish I'd read these reviews first. Same experience as others. They won't send me details for a refund after having sent a photo and repeatedly sent reasons for wanting to return the items.

Wrong size, difficult process to return, own fault for not looking at reviews, very pleasant exchange of email but of course leading nowhere.

Botheration, I wish I had found these reviews before. Ordered a jumper, which eventually arrived, synthetic and too small, no labels, and no return form. I wrote to their email, and had reply asking for photos. I sent the photos, two days ago, and now no reply. Very very annoying.

This is 100% a scam website, AVOID AT ALL COSTS!
I have looked into this company and they have various web sites, such as Quartier-Manchester, Quartier-Amsterdam, Quartier-Ottawa, etc. They all operate the same way; nice looking web-site, orders take a while to arrive, what arrives is not what is advertised (usually way too small, labels missing, made from synthetic fibres), hard to contact (no phone numbers), poor communication, no chance of a refund.

Someone needs to trace the eCommerce trail and see where the bank account for this company is, and who owns it, so the police can take action.

In the process of ordering, checking out colours and sizing, screen flashed and in seconds said “payment made” (taken automatically). I was charged for 2 large blue sweaters but wanted 1 red and may be XL. Instantly sent an email, stating please correct order or cancel. No reply. Sent 2 more. Still no reply. Finally sent a robust email and told too late. I will have to pay for returns!

After receiving my order 3 weeks after the 14 days that are advised on the website. Guess what the 2 items were too small. Can i get a hold of their customer services team no. it has now been nearly 4 weeks and no response. they have no telephone number so you can't call them its done via email. My suggestion is do not use this company at all.

Have received what I can only class as a fraudulent product after taking £50 of my money and fabricating there business as Manchester when in fact it’s China.
Despite several emails to their “customer service “ to request a refund they have totally ignored me 😡
Dear Quartier I will write a daily review until you answer my return request.
I have also reported you to Trading Standards
