Rubbish guarantee, don't use this company

Had our kitchen and utility room totally refurbished, our replacement stainless steel sink in the utility room has gone RUSTY, they have refused to replace and refit a new one.
Only fitted on the end of November
So much for totally guarantee service
Paid over £13000.00
What a waste of time trying to get this rectified

Quartzize…disgraceful customer service

I engaged this company to give my kitchen a make over.
There were a few hiccups:
Wrong door size
Wrong cabinet size
Two extracter fans
No hob
At this point I was very impressed with how quickly and efficiently the company dealt with these issues.
However, two days after completion I went to use the oven and realised that there was a problem. There were two right supports for the shelves and no left one. This resulted in the shelves being squint. And this is where problems arose. The company was completely uninterested in solving the problem. After several emails with no response I had to involve Citizen Advice Bureau ….no response
Advice Direct Scotland ……no response
Bank raised a dispute claim against the company……no response.
The bank refunded the price of the oven and is claiming the money back from Quartzize. This has taken over 4 months at this point.
In a nut shell I would never recommend this company.

Quart size please don’t use them

We had a kitchen fitted and overlays on our work tops done in January 2025
1 door was damaged and a drawer front this was eventually resolved
Then in July the worktops was moving this was because it was a weak point and it didn’t have the right plates underneath , 2 guys came out with a piece of wood my husband said no way you’re not using that you’ll be able to see it , they didn’t even have a proper job sheet for my husband to sign. He had to find the guy a piece of A4 paper to write it on very unprofessional,so they went away and yet again we phoned the office who’s after sales service is awful and then they arranged for the guys to come out again and this time they brought a shelf bracket my husband said you’re not using that as that will show so my husband had to tell them how to do it and they went off to B&Q to get the plates to fix under the worktop, absolutely disgusting then we had issues with the joints in the worktop silicone was used. My husband said you shouldn’t be using silicone. You should be digging it out and put in proper grout into it but now they did it their way twice. This had to be done and then the third time we called the office my husband told them how it should be done the lady we spoke to on the phone said she would get it sorted and they finally came out in November. We have had lots of emails going to throw and telephone conversations we asked for a copy of the transcript of the telephone conversations and surprise surprise they didn’t record them yet when you phoned through it tells you all calls are recorded.
We have also asked for some compensation which I was told in an email they would be willing to discuss but apparently the lady I’ve been dealing with can’t do that. It has to be customer care which you cannot speak to anyone it all has to be done through email and I am still awaiting For an answer.
I have also been to trade in standards who advised me of the consumer rights act 2015
I would never ever recommend this company to anyone my advice is don’t go there
They, they are really nice when they’re trying to get you to buy the kitchen but afterwards terrible

I wouldn’t recommend this company to my…

I wouldn’t recommend this company to my worst enemy. The worktop arrived damaged and the fitter left my kitchen flooded and cupboards water damaged, due his incompetence.
I had no running water in my kitchen for three days and so far they have refused to rectify any of the issues that they have caused. I would advise you stay away and save your money, find another company to do your kitchen makeover. This company will rip you offer and leave your kitchen in a worse state than they found it in.

Beware !!

Firstly.. this company has several names, Quartzize, Quick tops, Joe's Doors and overlays. I shall be leaving this review on all 3 company's review sites.

THE ATTITUDE
I spent nearly £8000 ...
I had my worktops and back splash fitted with the overlay system fitted on the Sept. Keith and his son was very nice and accommodating, and he did a overall good job, but a bad error was made with the measuring/cutting of the fuse switch for my waste disposal. RIGHT IN THE MIDDLE OF MY KITCHEN backsplash, you cant put images on here but its an absolute eye sore. He cut of the Quartz to large for the switch and it was patched in with a piece of quartz down the side. which just looks awful. I tried to accommodate there error with trying to buy a larger switch but couldn't because of the screw holes, OR putting a switch with a plug next to it but I already have 2 plugs next to this switch so it would look awful. . after my partner saw this error he said its unacceptable after spending nearly £8.000 that we should not be trying to cover this up, So we asked them to rectify the error, They asked Keith to visit us but I was away on holiday that day!. I DID NOT CANCEL I WAS UNAVAILABLE! So we were booked in on the 9th of October but had an emergency doctors with my brother. 1st appointment after error.. and have tried to reschedule several times but they have not tried to contact me since to rectify this.
When I called and Spoke to Michelle ( at Joe's doors) She was rude and dismissive when i tried to get a appointment, straight away tried to blame me for cancelling twice ( not true).. so i explained that's not true only once.. she kept saying it was my fault as i cancelled talked over me the whole (They never had that attitude prior to ordering) She said They have no availability until January. I was not happy with this as it looks awful, and having my family over for xmas wanted this corrected. but she continued to accuse me of cancelling twice. (So now it was my problem).
SHE proceeded to PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME!!

They were soooo accommodating in the beginning prior to ordering couldn't do enough but once they have your money they did not seem to care. and just presented blame!.

I called back but to speak to a manager about Michelle's awful attitude, HE ALSO PUT THE PHONE DOWN ON ME!. TALKED OVER ME THE WHOLE TIME. SAID I WAS BEING TAPED. (GOOD I replied AS IM JUST TRYING TO GET MY £8000 INVESTMENT CORRECTED). that just sounded like intimidation to me! , taped for what?? I was left so shocked!.

THE INSTALLATION.
The other problem for me is that the Quartz is cut on site. So a Large cutter machine and tools had to be set up in my communal muddy car park!! as it was raining. The mess was awful, My job was a big job (11 sqm) with lots of cuts. he had to make a tent and worked for 2 days in my shared car park and covered all the cars with the white quartz dust, which they never told me they were going to do this, thought it was cut prior, it was quite stressful and my neighbours were not happy,.. I had to wash every ones cars down! the trees/floors every where was covered in white quartz dust! and now they want to do it again. I would of defiantly had to reconsidered had I known this was the process. I understand building work have been in it for 30 years! People always have to be prepared for this type intrusion when you in a communal area as this does not just affect me!.

BEWARE RED FLAG - PEOPLE BE AWARE OF THIS..
After discussing this situation with the cutting and installing, and that they cannot do this in my carpark they have said now said I NOW HAVE TO DISCUSS THIS WITH THE FITTER HAS I HAVE PAID HIM FOR THE FITTING WORK TOPS NOT NOT THEM !!
.. this passes the whole responsibility on to ME & HIM. As i have actually paid him not them. i made the massive error of listening to the guy who sold us the worktops. as he never mentioned the fact that the installer is not there responsibility and that he isn't employed by them and the fitting agreement i have is with him!!
Please beware when its not all under one roof your in trouble. HE COULD WALK AWAY TOMORROW AND I CANT DO A THING ABOUT IT... £8000. i cant even ask for compensation!.

CONTACT..
When you call there office they have 2 options 1 for new orders and 2 for previous business. I was no 14 in the que on previous business, so recalled new business they answered straight away. He also put the phone down on me! telling me i am holding up the line! why aren't all calls a priority. a massive red flag!! now this is turned in to a fight now, i feel, because of lies and massive dismissiveness that this company is just there to take your money!!

I run a company myself and IF ANY problems arise my first priority is to sort it out. its good customer care!! Not telling people we are to busy for this and putting down the phone on a paid client!. TWICE!.

I will up date on how this is going as soon as they resolve it. if they ever do!!

Worthless Guarantee

We had our kitchen installled some 18 months ago - a crack has appeared in the worktop - there should be a 5 year guarantee but was told we had to pay for repair! Absolutley terrible customer service - this company does not deserve to be in business so please think very carefully before using them.

Absolute zero

Absolute zero. Poor workmanship, total shambles, please do not use this company. If anything wrong after they have taken your money dont expect any feedback. The bad reviews l have read must be the fittters l had. I am still poorly through this company

UNFINISHED KITCHEN

Please be very careful before using this company. They take all the money up front. I have had several problems that in the beginning they said they would resolve but are now refusing to do so.
It's not the workforce that's the problem it's the senior management.

I would suggest not giving them money until you are happy with the job.
Beware of this Company

Kitchen refurb

I am really pleased with my kitchen refurb and was very impressed with The Fitters, Will and Chris. They turned up on time, were friendly, informative and helpful and managed to negotiate easily through even though my kitchen threw up a few difficultes. They went over and above and I would thoroughly recommend them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!
I had a beautiful Quartsize kitchen worktop installed on 26th October 2023 (less than three months ago). Whilst cleaning it I recently noticed a crack that had appeared and immediately got in touch with Customer Service. I was told that "cracks don't just appear" and something must have dropped on it." This was certainly NOT the case. Nothing has been dropped and it appears that the crack came from a stress point. The Company are insisting we have to pay for the repair as they claim the crack was caused by accidental damage. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS COMPANY!

Kitchen re-vamp

Just had our kitchen re-vamped. It looks great, Quartsize couldn't have been more helpful. The fitters, Will and Chris were brilliant. They arrived on time, worked really hard and only left when we were totally satisfied.

Firstly we were assured our new sink…

Firstly we were assured our new sink came with a new waste pipe, if it hadn't we were willing to buy one, however this was not the case and therefore it took the guy a lot if time time to seal it. Secondly, it took him nearly 5 hours to cut out the worktop for the new sink and finish the area which is only about 3ft x 2ft.
Finally, he arrived at 10am which was OK, and we prepared our lunch but we didn't expect for him to still be there at 9.20pm. I think customers should be warned that installations can take as long as 11 hours.
Having said all that, the installation was done very well and we r pleased with the product.

Very poor customer service once paid in advance! After paying up front before the Fitter…

After paying up front before the Fitter even turned up, we were disappointed that Quartz sheets were not delivered covered for any protection, the day before fitting. We 'phoned the company with our fears. Fitter turned up and finished the kitchen at 7 p.m. Advising us not to use the kitchen until all mastic/etc was dry, it was the following morning we noticed a fault in the quartz. We rang the company and their attitude was so disinterested that repeated 'phone calls eventually gave us a date of 14th February for another Fitter to come and view the fault. The refit was January 4th. Rubbish was left behind and we had to dispose of it ourselves (we live in a private development and no uncycled rubbish can be left outside). We are so disappointed by their lack or customer care but were assured by sales team, and customer comments posted, that they would be a good company. We cannot recommend them to our friends now so they have lost custom here in Suffolk!

Quartsize Ishaq and Adam…

Ishaq and Adam fitted our new Quartz work surfaces this week and did an excellent job. From phoning ahead of their arrival to getting the job done and tidying up afterwards, we were really pleased with them. Friendly, helpful, polite to name a few qualities.

Very efficient company

Very efficient company, offering first class product. Good communication, prompt time keeping. Fitters Liam and Elliott arrived on time , worked under difficult conditions and dealt efficiently with a hob which was delivered separately in a damaged condition.
They removed all rubbish and left the area in a clean and tidy state. Courteous and considerate throughout the day.
Very pleased with the finished job
