I've written the review for AquaTaps about 6 times,but I keep on losing it. Basically the tap is brilliant,but the customer service (shout out to Sean and Shireen!) is AA+. The look is sleek and beautiful (I have a black one). They made me feel as though I wasn't asking any silly questions like 'how do switch the unit on?' to 'when is my next filter due?'. I can't praise the tap unit enough. You can definitely taste the difference in drinking as well as cooking with the water. I used to buy bottles of water both plain and carbonated, but I can say I drink more water. I'd urge you to make a considered purchase and invest in your health. You won't regret it- I don't!

Three years ago I had a 30k kitchen fitted and after looking at all the competitors at the Ideal home exhibition we opted for aqua taps after reading the fabulous reviews. The reason was simple we didn't want a massive boiler under our sink and I loved the simplicity of a subscription service for the filters every six months which keeps our fresh filtered water fabulous and how easy to replace. Just turn the isolator on the cold tap off and twist and remove each cartridge housing simply replace and refit and turn isolator back on and your done. Takes five minutes max and bingo all done. In the three years one tap failed but the after service is brilliant and a replacement was sent overnight. Compared to it's rivals which are seriously expensive and massive we definitely made the right decision and I'll never go back to a kettle or water filter cartridges. Love love love it

So, we’ve had our Aquatap D classic hot and filtered cold in copper for just over 6 months.

Pros
I’m reasonably handy but the install was very straightforward and the whole kit was well designed with good instructions plus online videos if needed
The quality of the tap feels excellent and has stood up to a family of 8 with no issues over the last 6 months
Hot water is plenty hot enough to make a lovely quick cup of tea
No more kettle cluttering up the side and never hankered for it to be back
Very convenient
Looks great

Cons
The hot water heater warms the under sink cupboard so cold water in the filter starts off warm requiring a wasteful run to get it cold (although the warm cupboard is great for rising dough!)
The hot water tank fills as you run the tap, so a cup or two of tea is steaming hot, but fill a saucepan with water and the temp falls quite quickly, as the cold mixes into the hot, dropping quite quickly to below 50 degrees C
If there is power outage the boiler does not automatically switch back on; you have to press a button on the box. This is frustrating if there’s been a micro outage as you only find out when your tea is cold, but also prevents the addition of a smart plug to turn the boiler off overnight, for example.
The boiler could be better insulated. It seems to have to reboil every 40-60 mins which is more over 24 hours than I ever used my kettle
Warranty requires you to purchase their expensive filters which I understand given the risk of hard water build up, but equally I think the filter cost then should be more competitive

Overall
Great product, would definitely recommend but would love to see the boiler a little better insulated to keep the water hot and my cupboard cool, an automatic restart after a power loss and the tie in filters to be more competitively priced. The boiler tank could also fill with a Keraflo like mechanism so you maintain true hot water up to the tank being emptied and then it would refill

I had one problem, that wasn’t Aqua taps fault, and Sean was great, sorted the problem immediately.

The tap seems very solid and is good quality, I fitted this myself and the instructions were very clear , all working perfectly

All good new filter . Turned up on time . Fitted easy .

I´m amazed about the quick and accurate service I got. Impressing these days when I normal find service a bit slow any many times unengaged.

The taps were a gift for someone. They advised me they were happy with the installation. The taps itself are generally ok, ut slight hard to grip and give a slight splutter. Once aware they lovebit.

Had an issue with delivery and the company have sorted it out very efficiently and effectively. Thank you Aquataps

Some months ago I purchased an Aquataps system which was also installed by one of their fitters. The whole process from order through to installation was coordinated by their very efficient and professionally friendly team. More recently I needed some support on a technical issue and I was in contact with Sean who was very quick to answer my queries, providing accurate and helpful advice. An excellent service from Aquataps.

Purchased a hot tap and cold water system from Aqautaps. Was relatively straight forward to install.
We did encounter a small issue and Sean from the technical team was more than helpful, sent a new part out which arrived the very next day. Replacement part is working perfectly. Couldn’t ask for any more to be fair!

I was struggling to find a Replacement Aerato for my mixer tap on the Aqua tap website . I emailed aqua tap direct and got a quick response from Sean . He was very helpful and found the part I was looking for. I got my part within a couple of days
